Mirchi Lounge in East Riding of Yorkshire

We found the Mirchi lounge whilst on holiday and had a lovely meal there. All the Indian restaurant favourites are here as well as a good range of house specials. Whilst the prices had increased from the menu shown on their website they were still very good value. We had two courses plus drinks for two of us and it came to just over 50 pounds. We felt very full and both enjoyed our food. Two more happy customers here!

Went for a takeaway on a Saturday night. The place was deserted. Having eaten the food it's easy to see why. Now I say the popadums tell you a lot about a place. These tasted bitter, like they were cooked in oil that hadn't been changed for months. They went in the bin. The Naan breads were worse, we didn't even bother tasting those, they were grey and doughy. The tikka starter did have an Ok flavour, but the main courses were just flavourless 2d. I certainly won't be going back, ever.

We had an excellent good value for money dinner last night. The mixed tandoori starter was well cooked and really tasty. We had the special Biryani and lamb Shashlik as our main with a garlic naan, more than enough for the two of us. All the food was well spiced and not to big portions, it easy to be over faced when eating Asian cuisine. The restaurant as I understand it hasn't been open very long and wasn't over busy for a Saturday night. But after all its still out of season and not in the best of places. Should do really well during the summer season as there are a number of large campsites close by.

What a lovely restaurant. We stayed over for the night in our motorhome. We was served by Sonny who is such a polite young man, nothing was too much trouble. We ordered a pickle tray to start and then for mains I had Lamb Boona and tandoori mixed grill for my partner, it was really tasty. The nan breads were amazing. On leaving we received a lovely card thanking us for our business and looking forward to seeing us again. Will definitely return!

Ordered takeaway, we are staying in a holiday rental cottage. Food was tasty, plentiful and good value. On collection, my husband mentioned we were here to celebrate his Birthday. The staff were thoughtful enough to give him a Birthday card! What a lovely touch. If you are in the area, give them a try- you will not be disappointed. Great food, great service!

I can't recommend this restaurant enough! High quality food, great portion sizes and super friendly staff. Good range of vegetarian options. Clean and pleasantly decorated restaurant. They even deliver take-away to Bridlington during the winter! We will definitely be visiting again!

Pre booked a table and to stay in our motorhome. Food is authentic, quality & fresh. We shared a starter, 2 mains, 2 rice, 2 naan plus 5 drinks £55! Amazing value. The service was good, really friendly & the chap told us they drove everyday from Leeds to cook / serve as the rents are cheaper. They do delivery & take away too. It’s £10 to stay in the motorhome there is an Elsan & fresh water. The site is hard standing and level. It is possible to have a view over the car park the north wolds and south over farmers field. We won’t hesitate to recommend & will return!

Awsome food, great service and motorhome friendly, A must stopover for anyone touring this part of Yorkshire. Highly recommend.

We ordered a takeaway for collection a few weeks ago and was not disappointed! I aren’t normally one for Indian food however after that I will definitely be returning. It was liked by everyone including someone whose been to many different Indian restaurants and this is now their favourite place. The staff member we dealt with came across very polite and the food was delicious.

Our go to Indian. Followed these guys about the area & never had a bad meal. From takeaways to dining in. Over the months we've tried many different dishes off the menu & enjoyed them all. The guys who own it are all so friendly & always have a chat when we go in. We went in last night for my daughter's birthday. Fantastic meal & even the grandchildren enjoyed trying the different dishes. Thanks guys 🙂

After reading previous reviews it feels like we visited somewhere else because our experience was terrible, the service was fantastic but the food was tasteless and I’ve never had tinned potatoes added to an Indian meal before the sauces used in both curries was generic watered down slop , nota hint of spice so very disappointing….

Went for a family meal as staying at a caravan park nearby, food was lovely, reasonable price, fast service. Staff was very friendly. Family owned restaurant from Leeds. Made us feel very welcome especially my little girl and little sister, brought them out a little toy each and at the end some chocolate. Would definitely recommend and definitely visit again.

Our fourth visit now since owning a caravan on a nearby site since August. Again tremendous food, Family run that travel from Leeds daily. So friendly and accommodating. The quality of food always superb especially the Chicken Maska which is my go to dish. Would recommend this place to anyone passing or staying nearby.

This excellent restaurant is on the A165 between Skipsea and Bridlington. It has plenty of free parking, friendly and helpful staff, great reasonably priced food and drink. The platter starter for two offered more than enough for four and the pashwari names were excellent.
