The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

I have always had a good experience here, the food is great but the staff make it, with great patience and humour.

Kelly is incredible! She not only organized 17 roasted dinners for our family outing but also cooked them all herself with help from her amazing staff! We all left feeling full and satisfied. The food and overall experience were flawless! The roasted dinners were enormous and delicious. She's truly fantastic!

Spent a lovely Summer evening sitting outside on the Pantiles, with delicious food and great service. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost too considering its a top notch area. The manager came for a friendly chat too. Will be back soon!

On the plus side we were given a table for two without booking on a Saturday night at 7.00 p.m but on the minus side we weren't informed the table would be needed at 8.00. We only had one course, god knows what would have happened if we'd wanted starters. The bill was brought as soon as we'd finished our food without us being asked if we wanted a dessert. I had to gulp down my wine as it was clear that a largish group were waiting outside for the table. Very unsatisfactory end to what had been a delicious meal. Put me in a grumpy mood for the evening especially as our bus cancelled ( no fault of Shobab) Mixed sizzler was unbelievably gorgeous and my husbands hot Keralan chicken dish was lovely too . Just a shame the ending of the meal was spoiled. If we had been informed the table was needed in an hour we prob would have left it and gone elsewhere or home as we are locals.

Fantastic food and service! We did wait for a while for our food to turn up but was a busy Friday night. Great to see a local restaurant busy.

My husband and I have eaten here very regularly for some time now. The owner Raj, her staff, the food and atmosphere is always great. We particularly love the pakoras and chicken tikka roll 😋 It is a pleasure to eat here and we will continue to do so

The food in here is lovely and reasonably priced. However the head waiter had zero personality and didn't seem to understand tipping etiquette. He made a point of showing us that service was not included on the bill, and when we put the tip on the table he came and took it without saying a word, before we had finished our drinks!!

This is the best Chinese I’ve had, after moving to the area I didn’t think I would find one as nice as my last one, but it’s better. They are also the most friendly family and it’s always a pleasure to order from them they look after their customers.

First time I have used this take away and it will be the last. Decided to give them ago I drove down to the take away to order my meal. up on viewing the menu I chose 3 dishes Spare ribs capital sauce Chicken Chow mein Sweet and sour chicken balls total cost just over £21.00 Rib's were fatty Sauce was nice Chow Mein had no flavour was very bland not appealing to the eye Chicken balls well the pieces of chicken inside them so small they were all batter total waste of money Not recommended at all.

Absolutely shambolic management ignoring you,not even trying to solve the problem out when your partner has finished the meal and you are still waiting for yours. Will never come back

Exceedingly disappointed after trying Malik's for the first time, and will be avoiding this in future. Not only was the service ridiculously slow with over 40 mins between courses, the seating was cramped, and the attitude of the head waiter towards other staff was unpleasant. The food is overpriced for the quality of what you receive, and food arrived over salted with so much ghee it left a bad taste for the rest of the evening. Considering we didn't have any drinks, over £100 for 3 people seemed a bit excessive for the poor quality and service. Not for us and overall an unhappy experience in a poorly run establishment.

Absolutly amazing tasty food, lovely and friendly staff. The decoration is beautifull. Food came fast even that the restaurant was full.
