Absolutely brilliant! Thank you!

I admit to being confused.. the Thai Brasserie used to be the Siam Thai Restaraunt? On google maps it shows the latter and an all you can eat Buffet but that's where it changes to the Thai Brasserie that don't have an all you can eat option! I called and booked expecting to be stuffed but instead got a normal menu that as with all things is fairly expensive.... However. We were well looked after albeit cold as the heating wasn't great.. The food we ordered was lovely although half the shared starters were cold the other two roasting hot. Never the less the curries are great and I expected £30 each and wasn't disappointed. Nice people, lovely food just go when the weather is better and hope the starters are warmed through...

Was not interested to have name changed on Trip advisor!So no review can be given for the new restaurant except theysaid it no longer did a buffet.Tripadvisor is well behind the times with their reviews, so makesure you always phone first. A Chinese in the same mews isalso closed, but shows as open in T.A! The Peking is just takeaway!

Pretty good Thai food. The noodles I selected were a slight let down but the ribs and the meat were flavoursome.

Having been to this restaurant on a number of ocassions, and having got to know what to expect in terms of quality, this time was quite a surprise, unfortunately for the worse.The 'buffet' menu has an impressive number of dishes from which to choose, however on this ocassion several of the (basic) dishes were not available.To aggravate the situation, our choice of wine was also not available "due to (... wait for it), Brexit". Seriously!? The owner attributed some recent price increases from his regular wine supplier to the UK (eventually) leaving the EU. A pretty lame excuse for anybody with a certain business acumen. Get a new supplier. Shop around. Don't tell your customers its about Brexit!

Nice selection of dishes. Service offered was attentive and swift. Nice selection of wines. Worth a visit.

The food was okay despite finding two hairs in our dinner! The service however was terrible! As a party we spent £370 on food and drink but the women barely cracked a smile, food items were missed, once you’d had things from the starter menus you weren’t allowed to order things back off that with you main, never was that mentioned on their set of “rules”. Between the starter and main courses we waited well over 45 mins and the children all of the children were either asleep or tired and pretty much went home hungry! Despite pre booking a party of 20 they’re was only 1 women serving. I wouldn’t go back there in a large party but maybe different in a smaller group

Pretty awful. Service awful. M red curry turned up yellow. I asked about that and the chef (who at least was nice and polite) responded with "well it is the chilli that makes it red" I replied "Yes, that is why I ordered red curry". Pad Thai was the worst I have ever tasted. Big let down - especially the non existent "welcome". I should have listened to the advice of my B&B host. I was so disappointed I had to go and watch Shakin Stevens to cheer me up!

Travelled up from Surrey for a family meal at this restrauant, we went for the buffet menu with "Rules"??, Really!!!We ordered 2 alcoholic drinks and the rest of the party had water, we waited 1 hour for starters!!, I complained to the owner, who apologised , no offer of anything for the inconvenience. Very poor service, the food is salty and bland, obviously a way of getting you to buy more drinks.The guy that runs this place needs to take a course in customer service skills, when we paid he said it was our fault for taking 20 mins to drink are drinks!Maybe if your staff were more attentive we would have been served a little quicker.Far better restaurants in the area, I wouldn't waste your money in this place.

My partner and I visit Siam regularly. The food is exceptionally good and the menu is very well priced. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble. 5/5 from us.

We had a lovely meal with friends in here. There was a large choice of food and the food we ordered was freshly cooked and tasted great. The manager was very friendly to us asking us if we enjoyed our food, which we very much did. I thought in all it was good value for money with great food and nice atmosphere. I haven’t had the buffet but would definitely return.

I often go to this restaurant for family celebrations. I love the food, and the service is excellent. Much as I enjoy eating here, I find the owner/manager rather surly. We are always a big party and always purchase lots of drinks, so would expect at least a smile from him ! There is absolutely no friendliness whatsoever, much as I enjoy the food, I don't really want to return to this place....

Visited recently for a birthday treat for my grandson. Warm welcome from server who was helpful and attentive throughout the evening. The food was delicious, much better than I expected from an all-you-can-eat establishment. Everything was cooked to order and was very tasty. Recommended.

Bad reviews are a load of rubbish; Siam is the best Thai I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many! VERY good sized portions, beautifully tasting green curry & pad Thai noodles. Very reasonably priced and traditional restaurant. Thank you!

We ordered takeaway late on a Sunday evening and they were excellent. Food ready in 20 minutes, and was delicious! Recommend the Thai green curry and the veg tempura. Loads of rice, complementary crackers. Will use again.

My wife and I were treated to a meal out. The good 1. Some of the food was quite tasty. The bad, 1. Food portion are really small, noodle dish I'd say was 3 fork fulls and that's it 2. Some of the food was served cold 3. One dish, a sizzling chicken had so much fat in it it literally soaked the table, menus, my phone, and our clothes as it was brought to the table on a plate that must have been so hot I'm surprised it didn't ignite 4. Four of us went out so why give us literally only 3 prawns on one of the dishes, 3 mushrooms and 3 squid 5. No draught largers 6. Duck dish, honestly I've never seen such small amounts. It looked more like a bloody sparrow! 7. We had coffee and was presented with a bowl that had milk for the coffee and some mints. We noticed an ant that had appeared on the table followed by another. We had a mint each which were absolutely disgusting. God only knows how old they were. We was then joined by another ant, the first two had drowned in the fat that was on the table from the previous chicken dish. After investigation of the milk/mint bowl I found what looked like over 20 ants running around in the mints. I didn't say much as I was out with family. We eventually got an apology that was shouted to us from behind the bar. Absolutely disgusting place. The only really good part was we had a night out with some family which is always nice.

Ordered a take out and went to collect it. When I for there the guy saw me but ignored me and was clearly annoyed and it seemed was having a go at his colleague. Bearing the fact I was the only one in the restaurant I was still ignored. Then I had to say something and he said "Your order has been given to someone else"... OK.. Then I asked how long would it take for another order.. He said about 10 minutes. I said would he give me a discount given the mistake.. He was very aggressive and said no. I explained that should be the least he can do. He said no and then said everyone can make a mistake.. Yes. I said I understand but the way to resolve this issue is to give better customer service. I said I couldn't believe the service and that I would be leaving feedback on TripAdvisor.. He said he didn't care. It was then I noticed some fruit flies behind him on the bar and thought I don't want to eat here anyway... Very disappointed in the whole thing. I was looking forward to a nice Thai meal and it ended up leaving a horrible taste in my mouth.

I think 🤔 their take away food is not quite as good as the food served in the restaurant, but I think that's true of most restaurants. Service is always good, the food is always freshly cooked and delicious.

Always have my birthday bash at this great Thai restaurant in Little Common, near Bexhill. Usually go for the all in Buffet style where you can eat as much or as little as you wish for £16.50 a head, which in today's world is pretty ok. Food cooked quickly and the staff are friendly. Comes highly recommended. I give it a 5 star rating

Once again spot on bit of food we went on a Sunday this time think this will be our day from now on Friday and Saturday silly as of busy can be slow service especially if there's more then 4 people, but all cooked fresh so you don't mind plus when we go out we make a night in there so what I'm I rushing for! Already told danny we back in September 12 of us be ready lol

Just enjoyed a relaxing evening buffet meal. Our starters and main courses were hot and very tasty. Very enjoyable and we will definitely be visiting again soon. Thanks

Went with Madame as a remembrance diner as we had our first diner date here about 14 years ago (as the Thai restaurant in Eastbourne needed a reservation which I had not)

I have been going to Danny's for years, it's a great restaurant, the food is always great Danny's and his staff are fantastic, if you have never been, please go I promise you won't be disappointed. Thumbs up

Great Thai restaurant with an all you can eat style service. Not the best Thai good I've ever eaten but would certainly go back again. Staff very friendly and food and drink reasonably priced.

It was an eat as much as you want buffet which we didn't really want as we don't eat very much. Not sure how it was different from Chinese. The menu was very like most Chinese menus. But the food was good and cooked to order. The only real problem was that we were sitting by the window and there were mending the road just outside so it was a bit noisy..

The most awful place I have been to. Owner was very rude , no atmosphere or music and food was appalling, certainly not Thai food what so ever!! Made to feel like we were annoying him by being there even though we were paying him. Never would I suggest this restaurant to anyone ever . STAY CLEAR

Excellent food and lovely staff. The Thai gentleman who owns the restaurant is welcoming and friendly. We had the All You Can Eat buffet (table service) option which was a very reasonable price and allows you to try many different things. We had a selection of different starters they recommend 1-2 each; we ordered duck pancakes, honey spare ribs, vegetable tempura and prawn & chicken toasts among others. All were delicious! We were quite full so only needed one main and two rice/noodle dishes to top us off. Quite a few vegetarian options and a good selection of wine, we had the house which was very drinkable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic lovely food a buffet with a difference where you choose 2 starters each to begin with then more if you want to same with main course. All cooked fresh. We were visiting from Yorkshire for Christmas to see mum on little common & this place is a little gem

We were able to order 2 starters each. When finished we were able to order another2 . The same applied to the main courses. The food was delivered to the table. The drinks were not too expensive. The meal was served at a leisurely pace as the food was cooked as we ordered it. A very pleasing experience.

This is an excellent Thai restaurant located on the A259 west of Bexhill. They do a wide range of a la carte dishes, but on Sundays, plus Tuesdays to Thursdays the buffet for £16:50/head is particularly good value. Between four of us we sampled a wide range of food - and it was all great. We shall return.

Really not a great place to eat, was a group of us and forgot loads of food, it never arrived at all. Still wanted to charge for a full meals that never arrived. Rubbish

Booked for a table of 19 after calling and asking if they could cater for a big group, for my sisters 40th birthday.

Stopped in at 9pm after spotting this restaurant earlier in the day. Just me and my mum for a quiet birthday meal. We ordered chicken pad Thai, chicken satay and duck in a tamarind sauce with rice. All delicious, duck dish very sweet but still lovely. Staff started off a little reserved but willing to chat if you engage them when it's quieter and had lots of advice for my mum when she visits Thailand later this year! Overall good food and nice restaurant, would definitely visit again!

Went for a late Sunday lunch - phoned to book, and although the restaurant would have been closed the owner stayed open for our party of eight. OK, there are probably more authentic Thai restaurants, (I've been to Thailand a number of times, and of course it's different out there) but the food was hot, tasty and served politely. It was a kind of buffet, but ordered from the table. Some reviewers have suggested that this is done to limit your consumption, but that is nonsense. Whatever we asked for they brought. We had two rounds of two starters each, then two main courses each (some had three!) with rice and/or noodles. All in all a very satisfactory experience, and that is comparing a number of other Thai restaurants.

I will not recommend this restaurant. The staff is not friendly and not welcoming at all and the service is very poor.

We got a takeaway from here for the first (and last) time. Awful in every way. The sauces were given separate to the meat which was the driest chicken I have ever seen. The Thai curry sauces were thick, gloopy, full of cornflour so they looked and tasted like an English Chinese takeaway. The "crispy" fried beef was wet, dripping in oil and hardly any actual beef - just all wet batter. Even the prawn crackers were not authentic Thai crackers. No fresh Thai herbs at all - this is essential in Thai cookery! Nothing fresh. The manager's response was " this is how we cook our food". This may be okay for people that are not familiar with Thai food as it is just Chinese takeaway food. Note to their next potential customers.....save yourself the disappointment and go to Thai Chava in town instead. They serve delicious authentic Thai food...not English Chinese takeaway jollop.

This friendly Thai restaurant has a great Thai menu with the Tempura and Green Thai our favourite. Always a good experience.

We visited expecting a colourful, tasty vegetarian Thai like we have experienced in Hastings Old Town. Instead we had one of the most disappointing meals I have ever eaten. The starters were meant to come with plum and peanut /chilli sauces, yet came with sweet chilli. When queried, staff assured that was right. The main of aubergine and cashews in special Siam sauce was OK, even if the 'special' part was the good old tamarind. However, the stir fried bean curd with peppers, ginger and onion was inedible (and I rarely say that about anything). The bean curd had clearly not been drained and was pure grease in batter, making both of us feel ill. The staff struggled to remember the basics eg. wanting starters then mains, what we had ordered, what was in some of the dishes, smiling, talking to their customers and understanding we didn't want an 'all you can eat' buffet. I definitely won't be returning.

Staff very friendly, service very quick. Had the buffet meal, all dishes delicious and served within 15minutes of ordering. Definitely would recommend.

Visited 3 times but will not go again. Positives Food nice. Negatives Eat all you like has a lot of rules which make it not really what it says it is. Some rules make little sense like no returning to a starter after a main meal. It is very slow when busy (overcrowded really). Expect 2.5 to 3 hours just for a single starter and single main meal. Owner can appear friendly and polite sometimes, but at other times much less so, borderline rude.

This is my 3rd time coming here. The experience has got progresively worse. This is the worst so far. 1. Service is very slow it took 10 min to be asked for a drink. 2. 18 mins to order starter 3. 42 mins starter was brought to table. 4. Waiter takes away starter at 8.55 pm Then asks if we would like anymore...we say no as it is taking a long time. 5. Main order taken at 9.20 pm got it at 10.10 pm 6. Rude. Will I come here for the 4th time 'NO'

When I go to a Thai restaurant I like Thai food, this was Chinese takeaway, nothing Thai about it, sauces tasted like they were out of a jar, service was slow... about 30 mins between courses ordering at a BUFFETT!!! Several people ordered the same dish that was supposed to be accompanied with a sauce, and only one sauce came out..... satay mushrooms consists of a kebab stick of mushrooms .......and a pot of sauce...... ribs inedible as they all grissle and staff standing like statues right next to the table making it very uncomfortable, will not be going back...... shame

What a waste of money, freezing cold inside then when another couple came in they moved the calore gas fire in front of them to keep them warm!! I can only guess that they must be regulars!, the food was cold and tasteless, the service slow, ambience boring and extremely over priced, won't return there again sorry

I went for lunch with a friend and straight away on ordering jasmine tea- it was cold .For lunch I ordered Tom Yum soup which was watery and tasteless and looked like dishwater this was followed by Pad Thai with Prawns- it was beyond disgusting- the noodles were not fresh - the prawns were inedible- to cap it off there was no coriander peanuts or line as garnishes. When I asked they did not have coriander , the lime was a shrivelled piece of lemon and the peanuts were stale . Disgraceful !!!!! To complete the occasion it was totally overpriced.

We ate here mid week and we all loved it. The buffet food was lovely all cooked fresh to order the portoin sizes were just right and there was alot to choose from. You could each order up to two dishes at a time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We would eat here again.

We visited here with friends on Friday night, they had been here several times and highly recommended the food and the service - they were not wrong! The "All you can Eat" Buffet Menu was amazing - such a variety it was difficult to choose - there are limitations to how much you can order at one time to avoid food wastage but this was not a problem. The Spare Ribs were great, very meaty and the various Curries were really tasty - not too hot! Service was very attentive and the owner was very friendly. Will definitely be going back when we are next in Bexhill.

This restaurant serves a buffet on Saturday evenings where you can choose from the menu and eat what you like. There are some in house rules on this to food wastage. Food is good. Prepared to order. Wait times are reasonable considering this. Can be busy so may be worth booking. Nice atmosphere when half + full. Owner will take good care of you.

Went with a group of 7 for dinner. We chose the buffet option and there was lots to choose from on the menu. Unfortunately with both starters and mains not all the food turned up, meaning that some of us were kept waiting for them to deliver the correct food. One starter turned up as everyone else was nearly finished with there's. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us throughout the whole night. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. It's just a shame the meals came at different times.

stay away from this restaurant, thai food what a bloody joke, when i question the owner of his thai food and told me not to come back, what a rude prix. the food is awful, the service is below par and its time they close down and say au voir.

We decided to try this place with a takeaway meal and after ordering had 20 min wait for it .The restaurant was quite busy and food looked good but no offer of drink while we wait for order ! Then said did not charge us for a dish (only to be told can't do it as run out) so chose another one paid extra money ?? Why take order if you know already not got it? So another 10 min wait as it was a main dish -really ?? When home the food was lovely ,tasty and hot with not too much onion to bulk it out .Coconut rice ,spare ribs ,green Thai curry ,chicken oyster sauce,satay chicken etc .Service slow but give it a go £36 in total for 3people .

Passing through we stopped for something to eat. Once buffet rules explained we enjoyed a pleasant few courses with some excellent banter with the manager. Not fine Thai cruising but tasty and portions apply in size.

We've eaten here a few times in the past, and decided to go again. We arrived to a quiet restaurant with only a few other diners, but as it was fairly early, thought it would get busier later. We ordered off the all you can eat buffet menu, which meant we could try a range of freshly cooked dishes and order more if we wished. The food was really good quality, very tasty and we enjoyed it very much. It was very quiet for a Friday night, and the food was really good, so we couldn't understand why there were so few people there!

My husband and I really fancied a Thai meal, we visited the Siam restaurant which had a few people eating whom all seemed happy with the food. We were given the buffet menu and offered drinks. I asked for a bottle of still water they had none so I had a Thai beer which was ok but cost £3.50 for a small bottle. We were left to peruse the menu, in the mean time we were given CHINESE prawn crackers I had the Tom yum soup, usually a VERY spicy soup. It was ok and did resemble Thai soup that I had had before. My husband had chicken and noodle soup, this was very bland tasted like a very watery chicken stock cube. Beyond the soup was where any spice or flavour was non existent. The mixed starter was awful, fried vegetables chicken wings plain! It was yuckWhen my husband spoke to the owner he said we should have asked for spice my main was prawn with chilly and ginger. There were no chillies!! I wasn't aware that we had to ask for chillie? So in short if you fancy a Thai meal with little or no spice or flavour this is the place to go I don't like leaving negative reviews but it's a challenge to find a positive from tonight but here goes. The staff were ok the soup (mine) was ok the price is quite cheap in comparison to other Thai restaurants but remember you get what you pay for. Went to the co op to get some snacks on the way back , they were good.

We always give places a second try as sometimes despite peoples best efforts things go wrong. On our first trip, wrong wine, two wrong dishes & a 25 minute wait for a dish only to find it was not nice at all. We found the food ok but not special. Service friendly but forgetful!Second trip, service better but the food worse, all the dishes were bland and unremarkable, something you should never really have to write about Thai food. Sent the Massaman curry back as the meat was grey and tough, tried to explain to the waiter but not really interested. So won't be going back as there loads more restaurants to try.

We were supposed to have an Indian meal but restaurant was closed due to illness. We looked for somewhere else to eat & found The Siam. We were very pleased with the menu selection & the restaurant was very pleasant. The prices & portions were reasonable too. We had a lovely meal & would definitely return.

Expecting a nice authentic Thai meal for a change and only got a bland meal more on the Chinese line. None of the three main ingredients of a Thai meal, colour, heat, and texture. Mediocre meal, not very Thai. Very disappointed. I do not recommend it at all, however it’s the only Thai restaurant around for quit some miles. How could I complain as the restaurant has no standards to compare with another in the locality.

Not impressed decided to have the buffet , starters were given out without even asking for them and if you even liked them and were not adequate for the table? Had to then wait almost 2 hours for mains although they were nice when they arrived ! Disappointed .

I usually look up restaurants on Trip Adviser before going - but didn't this time - and I am glad I didn't or I wouldn't have gone. That would have been a shame as my experience was so different to the last reviewer, and several others.We ate from the 'buffet' menu both nights. The term buffet may be causing some confusion here as it is really a set price menu option where you pay £14.95 and then select your choice of starters and main courses. Your orders are then freshly cooked and served up A' la carte fashion. We thought this far preferable to the traditional buffer concept where you help yourself from a restricted choice of food that is being kept warm. You can ask for multiple dishes - "all you can eat" - and we both certainly had as much as we wanted on both occasions. We were offered the a' la carte menu as well - but aside from it offering a wider choice of dish - could see no benefit in ordering from it. The buffet option provides such good value.As for quality - we enjoy Tai food and have even been to Thailand and eaten it. We both thought the food very good. The green curry and coconut rice a particular favourite. As for the proprietor - who I notice gets a hammering in some reviews - I would say he provides an efficient and courteous service. Perhaps it's a personal thing, but we were both very happy with his approach and the service we received, and have no complaints.

We were handed 'buffet menus' when we arrived. The 'All you can eat buffet' is nothing of the sort: it is simply a method for limiting your consumption of food, whilst overcharging you. There is no self-service buffet, instead you are asked to order one dish at a time. Portion sizes are tiny, and the food is bland. I was warned that the soup was spicy when I ordered it, so I expected something hot. What I got was basically coconut milk with some prawns and mushrooms in it. The other dishes were equally as bland and lacking in any real flavour. When they bring the dishes out they call them by number, so you feel like you've ordered take away. I have eaten in plenty of Thai restaurants and never experienced anything quite so uninspiring

I have eaten here many times since Danny opened but the quality of food is ok but it used to be outstanding but I think corners are be cut portion sizes are small my pad Thai was on a tea saucer and the duck was cubed so small we ordered duck for 4 and when it arrived was barely enough for one So my advice Danny go back to what you did so well over the past years buy the big prawns again quality products and you will succeed stick with this and you won't Sorry Danny but truth hurts somethings

We were a party of 12 persons calibrating an important family occasion. At the time of booking we were not aware that there were two menus. Initially we were offered the buffet menu, which we found rather limited. Having eaten there several times in the past we requested the main menu. Everyone in our party choose from the main menu. Although there were many different dishes to prepare, the food arrived quickly, was well prepared and really excellent flavour. The whole meal was very reasonably priced and even including drinks was considerably less than I had anticipated. I would really recommend the Siam, but would advise any visitors requesting the full menu every time.

My wife and I had a lovely meal at the Siam .it was are first time so we had the buffet and it was great so much food for the price .its a lovely place for a meal and the staff and waitress are very attentive .the food was really taste and nice cold beer .cant wait to go back

Ordered food for take away based on good reviews and recommendations, despite the staff being really lovely the food was highly disappointing. Had 2x pad Thai and they were very bland and tasteless! Overall disappointed.

Having visited this restaurant more than handful of times in the last few months when moved to the local area! I have never tasted food quite like it! Every time it has exceeded expectations and the food, staff and service are second to none! Its becoming a weekly event having dinner here! Thank you!

I had eaten here a few days ago the food was outstanding and the staff were incredible. firstly, me and my family were greeted through the door with a warm welcome and had our jackets taken and hung up which was always a good sign and made us feel comfortable. as soon as we had our order taken we barely had to wait for our food to come to the table it was just great timing, which I thought was excellent considering we were starving. everything was made to perfection and I am proud to have taken my family to this restaurant. will be back soon!!
