Just an overall mid place, service was great but food was bad, which is ultimately not their fault as it’s basically just prep food being thrown together in about a minute. Not flavourless, just bad flavours that only come from the sauce and nothing else. Might be a bit spoiled with actual beef and not just minced beef, but it was honestly just hit after hit with no quality ingredients Details of what is in the dish should be available on the menu (ie what veggies). Menu was limited, but this is also not their fault. Overall, wouldn’t come back but the availability of readily made kim-chi could give the place some customers.

Dropped in for lunch, we had three Bibimbabs, the Korean beef Famous Bulgogi and the Angry Calamari...brilliant blend of rice, vegetables and the meat & fish, all brought together by great Korean sauces. A couple of kimchi dumplings on the side...perfect. Kept us going for the rest of our afternoon, thank you!

Didn’t know about this place until this evening when wanted to get something quickly before an event at the Dome. We both had a Bibimbap bowls which were tasty, very filling and great value. Lots of options for vegans and meat eaters. Superbly quick service, so pleased to have discovered it will definitely come again.

Good fresh veggies over rice with a lovely spicy sauce (I picked my sauce). My vegan friend loved her dish a lot and raved over it and will go there again. Nice, simple flavors, fresh produce, great people and workers. Glad I went and I enjoyed my first biminibop (sp) but I wouldn’t mark it as my fav, and probably would choose other places first. I struggled between 4 and 3 stars and put it at 4 for freshness and staff. If you love simple flavors this is a great place.

This is another one of cynical establishments that gets by comfortably serving 'trendy' dishes to 'trendy' people who don't know any better. Why improve? Many such cases in Brighton. Anyway, ordered the mushroom option. It was really bad. The rice was completely unseasoned and dry and the veg was just a sloppy. flavourless mess. Avoid.

Al tener una alergia a las nueces bastante grave, me aseguré de que lo que pedí no tuviera una N al lado. Unos momentos después de que comencé a comer, sentí que mi garganta se apretaba y la sensación de picor en la parte posterior de mi garganta. Le pregunté al personal si mi plato contenía nueces. "No", dijeron, "pero la salsa está hecha con mantequilla de maní". Miré en el menú, pero no había N al lado de la salsa. No podían decirme por qué no lo hizo. Si la leyenda NO hubiera estado en el fondo, por supuesto que habría preguntado de antemano, pero supuse que su leyenda reflejaba con precisión los ingredientes. Me ofrecieron una comida de reemplazo, pero no un reembolso. Quizás debería haber preguntado, pero estaba comprensiblemente preocupado por llegar a casa en caso de que necesitara mi epipen. Pedimos 86 de comida para una celebración familiar, la comida vegana apareció con un huevo frito encima, arruinando por completo nuestra comida familiar. Luego faltaba el tofu de nuestra comida vegetariana y habían reemplazado los fideos con algo más. Intentamos llamarlos, llamamos tres veces. Tuvimos que llevar toda la comida equivocada a su restaurante en Brighton y pagar el estacionamiento y resolver un reembolso. Realmente muy decepcionado con toda esta experiencia. Estaba muy impresionado con la comida cuando la tuve en la tienda y decidí que me la entregaran hoy para variar. El pedido vino solo con las coberturas "principales" y las coberturas por las que pagué más, pero ninguna de las otras verduras que se encuentran en la descripción del plato y que obtienes en la tienda. Empapado en kimchi (¿supongo que para compensarlo de alguna manera?) Y solo luciendo muy triste. Claramente, no se molestan con los pedidos de entrega y no ponen el mismo cuidado que hacen por la comida que se come en la tienda, lo que es sinceramente encantador. Sinceramente, una gran pena: (

Mi primer contacto con la comida coreana me ha dejado preguntándome por qué nunca la había probado antes.La chica de la tienda fue muy útil al explicar qué eran las cosas y ayudarme a elegir. Me encantó que pudieras elegir tu propio arroz, coberturas y guardar. Probé el arroz negro, el kimchi y la salsa de chile. También tuve un lado de albóndigas. La comida estaba muy bien presentada, sabía increíble y tenía una buena relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente regresaré una y otra vez hasta que haya probado todas las opciones vegetarianas. Bueno para los veganos también!

Fui por primera vez recientemente. El restaurante está muy cerca de la Komedia en Brighton. Sólo una pequeña zona de asientos en la planta baja, pero nos abrieron el área del sótano, lo cual fue muy divertido. Básicamente, es una carpa con calentadores (muy necesaria en una noche fría). La comida y el servicio fueron buenos. ¡Trae tu propia cerveza!

I had the famous bulgogi rice bowl. It was alright. Could have had a bigger portion size. Too expensive for its size. The guy who served me didn't greet me at all and seemed rather dower. The girl working with him, however, was loud and boisterous when she was serving another customer. Very eery tone in her voice that made me want to stick hot needles in my ear drums. Also, as I was tucking into my scrumptious bowl of joy, I couldn't help but overhear the girl having a massive row with the boy. Perhaps manners should have been included in the training. Overall, good food, but staff really dampened my mood. Would not recommend to my friends, family or girlfriend. They really need to go over the training every now and then with the staff to make sure they are the best at what they do.

Mi compañero y yo estábamos buscando un lugar diferente para almorzar mientras estábamos en las calles el sábado pasado y tropezamos con esta pequeña joya. A pesar de que hemos probado la comida coreana, el amable personal explicó todo lo que necesitábamos para refrescar nuestros cerebros y los encontramos acogedores, informados y educados. Das Namul bietet eine koreanische Spezialität (Bibimbab) an. Es ist sehr fein und noch dazu gesund. Sehr zu empfehlen, da auch das Personal sehr freundlich ist. Im Winter hat es aber zu wenig Plätze um drinnen zu sitzen.

Este fue uno de mis lugares favoritos en be & H, pero la calidad bajó por un tiempo (porciones miserables, menos variedad de ingredientes en el bibimbap), así que me alegré de que la oferta de hoy haya mejorado mucho. Service is good but not overfriendly; food tastes authentic but if you want to perch at the only inside table, you will need to protect your clothes from the incredibly sticky and not very clean surface. I've walked past this place 100's of times and often thought I should go in. Today was the day, and I did! I got the Tofu Bimimbap, after a lovely chat with the girl behind the counter who explained how it all worked. Packed with perfectly cooked rice, tasty, fresh veggies and a choice of sauces to die from. Rich with spice and tang. A bowl of absolute heaven. They cater for gluten free, vegan, veggie and meaties!The girls were a delight, smiley, welcoming, helpful. I am officially hooked. Literally the best food I've bought out without having to make it myself for years! Highly recommend . Peace x

I used to love and rave about this place, this time will sadly be my last visit. The portions are now half the size (but at the same price), which doesn’t make sense to me. After having the wrong order twice, and waiting until finishing food for a hot drink that never appeared... we were unable to get a refund as it was complicated due to paying on card... which isn’t really the customers fault.

My first Korean food experience. My bowl of rice, veg, tofu and soy sauce looked uninspiring - all the constituent parts separate. But somehow the sauce and the way the veg is cooked and seasoned brings it all together into a delicious and satisfying meal-in-a-bowl. Fresh-tasting pickled veg just yummy. Seaweed salad side order unusual and really tasty. Inexpensive. Great place to watch Brighton go by.

Visited Namul last week, and due to the gorgeous weather in Brighton at the time, the lanes were quite busy - but Namul still managed to serve both myself and my friend some delicious bibimbap really quickly! I had the Korean beef with an egg and some kimchi, having never tried both Korean beef and kimchi before I was surprised by just how tasty it was. My friend had the aubergine bibimbap, she also said that it was amazing too. Anna and Lau (sorry if I've misspelled!) served us and were lovely. I'll definitely be visiting again.

So ...I haven’t been in Namul before I only ordered take away , but I will certainly order again . It’s flavoursome Asian food , decent ingredients. The bento box is good size . I was full ,after eating it all , my only criticism is get a little bit more of the pickled vegetables on the side I literally had a teaspoon of kimchi in my bento ( I love kimchi too much so that was my wtf moment with this dish ) but all n all I did enjoy my meal & will Definitely order again I just make sure I get extra portion of kimchi ;)

Visited this cute little joint with my boyfriend for a relaxed dinner. The food is to die for - so so good - and the staff are always super lovely/ helpful/ smart. Today Mustafa and Davide served us. They greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in and it's so rare to be served by staff that genuinely care about your dining experience that it makes such a difference when you get that sort of service. So thank you for that! Literally cannot thank/ praise the venue and its staff enough for such a stress free and happy dinner. The only one small thing about the venue is I wish it could be bigger to accommodate more people. Otherwise - great food, great service, great value, great decor. They do zoodles too!

We have been here a few times with no problems and usually have an ok experience however this occasion we went as a group and after starting our food our friend pulled out a full size Caterpillar from their dish! There's no logical reason for this, surely the vegetables are washed before serving, or maybe not? This put us off all our dishes so we got our money back and left. Don't think we will ever go back, such a shame this neglect has tarnished our view!

Came back here for the first time in 9 months, and it has gone from one of the best places in Brighton to really poor.I visited on a quiet Sunday and the girls were so slow.The portions have become smaller, and you can't swap a topping, you have to pay. I also paid for a different extra topping too and they forgot it to add it.Shame because it used to be great!

This little Korean place really stuck on me when I first saw it, I was searching for a Korean place for ages when I first moved to Brighton, so there it was. I tried it many times, and it was always really fresh and of good quality, without breaking the bank. Normally I would spend there around 8-10£ but I take normally also a drink and some toppings, but you can spend also as little as 5£ for a veggie's bibimbap, so that it quite convenient. The kimchi was not too spicy but very nice to add to another bibimbap. Really recommended.

Ordered this to be delivered at 8.30, ready for when my wife got home. They delivered it at 7.15. It was stone cold when she arrived home to eat it. Namul keep getting my orders wrong every time. Great food but I don't know how much longer I will continue to order from them. Food is also always luke-warm.

I did enjoy my Bibimbap from here, but as I've never had it before I don't know what it's supposed to be like! I was disappointed that the chicken was advertised as spicy and had absolutely no kick to it at all, there was a nice flavour, but no spice. The whole thing was kind of luke warm and I didn't know if it was supposed to be hot or cold? The flavours were delicious but I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was authentic or the best that it could be!

Need I say more? I guess I have to for the word count. Went there to try something different but was really disappointed. Didn't know what to expect but had hoped for something hot, tasty and filling. But what I got for £6.20 was Some salad with cold rice and cold mushrooms on top. Even though they were speciality mushrooms, when cold they're going to be tough and chewy. The bowl lacked any flavour. Sadly this was the worst meal I've had in years .... Everything was cold, and tasted old... I hate writing reviews, to be honest I don't write at all but this forced me. I took a bite out of the food, I couldn't believe it. It went straight in the bin.

My kimchi wasn't very fermented. I make my own kimchi and like it to fizz. That said, everything else was just about perfect. Tasty, wholesome food, delivered quickly.

It was raining the other day and i was walking past Namul and fancied somthing hot and nice so i poped in i found the staff there very friendly and happy to answer my question the guy behind the counter was new he said he had only been in the uk a few months but was able to recommend a sauce to go with my meal i had the meal deal a main , soup , choice of two puddings fantastic value for money and i like how i can add extra toppings i had two fried eggs added to mine the hole meal came out steaming and the miso soup is the best i have had I really enjoyed it all the food tasted fresh and had alot of flavour the gosari is also very nice the place was clean and I didn't have to wait long for my food i am funny about where i will eat being a chef for almost 17 years i can safely say you will enjoy your trip to namul i was only there the other day but i will be going back for more this Wednesday

The food was delicious - a party in my mouth with every forkful. Everything tasted fresh and and was very flavoursome. I ordered a Red Bean Hoppang Bun and was phoned by the restaurant who provided excellent service and offered me extra Chocolate Mochi in place of the bun. The delivery time was dead on the time that was provided by the restaurant and the delivery driver was very nice. All in all, an amazing takeaway; I will definitely be ordering from Namul again.

Я взяла меню- мисо суп+ рис с угрём и закуска (горошек в васаби), муж традиционный бибимпап с говядиной, всё было очень вкусно, всё удовольствие меньше 10 фунтов. Можно выбрать тёмный или обычный рис и собрать свой индивидуальный бибимпап из разных ингредиентов, но мы решили не мудрить.

Told it was going to arrive at 19:45, then emailed saying the restaurant had added 10 mins on, so 19:55. It is now 20:20 and still waiting. Nearly 2 hours after ordering. Terrible!!!

I've been to this place a few times as my friend lives less than 5 minutes walk away. The service is always good. It looks like a place where people can relax after work with their friends. The bar really reminds me of places where people go after work before home in Japan. The food is tasty. The only thing is that I wish they had a bigger menu.

I get you’re not supposed to review for too good to go on here. As it’s probably not meant for it. But the sushi is bomb even for that. 4 quid for 14£ worth of sushi I got. Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews trashing this place for it. Those reviews should get removed because they don’t get how the app works. The sushi was amazing. reckon I’ll come here and try it properly. The katsu curry was only 7.50 not including student discount. Haven’t seen that any other place. Wish this place all the best 👌🏻

the food was average, the service was terrible apart from the young lad and they charged us £6 for a pint of coke-cola, they dont ask if you want anything or or help you in any way if you want something you have to try and find someone to get it. staff have an attitude and come across really rude!
