Wagamama never fails to deliver, food is amazing very polite staff.

Reasonably priced and fabulous atmosphere. Excellent service from staff would highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

The staff that served us are so lovely and the food is fine but the management need to wake up. Several people have slipped on the stairs down to the toilet, partly because of the metal strip at the edge of each step, but also the tiles themselves. I know that Wagamama have been receiving complaints for months and are well aware of the safety risk, but still haven't sorted it out. It is such a simple problem to fix, but it seems like they are just waiting for a disaster to happen. Dear managers: will you be able to sleep at night after someone breaks their neck and you knew all along about the risks but did nothing about it?

The best hoki fish coconut kar I have ever had. Definitely will be back to have this again!!!

We went there today it was there packed we queued but served with the menu while waiting our turn which was great, wait wasn’t long, food was good my husband said only the music quit loud where the the couple next to us and the rest of the people talks loud as well just to hear each other talking amidst of the loud music, it was a busy day but all the staffs done so very well. Food was alright

Great food, as always. We visited tonight and two of us had the Vegatsu, which was absolutely delicious, and there were a large number of other vegan options. Slow but friendly service.

The food is tasty, but youthful and not very authentic. On the plus side, it's a spacious place with plenty of room and an interesting menu, but on the downside, they don't serve meals together, it's first come first served, so in practice each of the four of us ate separately.

We have visited the restaurant for the first time last week Friday. Our server was Florin. He was very welcoming , helpful and professional.All his recommendations was amazing , the food was very delicious.we had a fabulous time there. Definitely we will visit again. . Recommend this place.

Normalmente no escribo reseñas, pero esta vez es imprescindible. Fui a Brighton Wagamama hace un par de meses, y fue terrible. Cuando llegó el pedido, esperé un poco a que llegara la comida de mi amigo para poder comer juntos. Después de 20 minutos, su comida todavía no estaba lista. Terminé comiéndome la mía, fría, y después de terminar, su comida todavía no estaba lista. Hice una queja, pero como siempre, acabo de escuchar un montón de historias. Cuando finalmente llegó la comida de mi amigo, estábamos tan molestos que ni siquiera terminó de comer, y simplemente nos fuimos. Porque estaba ocupado, aunque no sea una excusa, no escribí una mala crítica y decidí dejarlo ir. Me temo que la semana pasada fui allí de nuevo y pasaron exactamente las mismas cosas; la única diferencia es que esta vez solo había 5 mesas en el restaurante. Con 5 personas en la cocina y más en el piso, lo consideré inaceptable, y obviamente hice una gran queja. Las cosas eran inútiles! manager, más inútiles; inventar historias sobre comida toma tiempo, y diferentes platos también toman diferente tiempo de cocción! ¿Hablas en serio? ¿Piensa en tratar con idiotas, o has estado trabajando en un restaurante por un día? ¿Le pregunté si saldría con sus amigos y comería a diferentes horas? Y lo curioso es que dijo que no. Bueno, me temo que esa es la historia real. También grabé un video, y obviamente lo publicaré en las redes sociales. Solía tener un restaurante durante 7 años, y en una situación como esa, habría dado una cena gratis con millones de disculpas y no solo excusas, haciendo que los clientes se frustraran aún más. Entonces ve a la cocina y despide a todos. Una vez más, porque es una cuestión de principio, esta vez solo publicaré reseñas en todas partes y también copiaré esto a la oficina central. Estoy harto de esta nueva forma en la que muchos restaurantes van, haciendo que los clientes sientan que nos están dando un favor si nos dejan sentarnos! cobrando una fortuna por un servicio de 2 estrellas, en realidad! Buena suerte con eso.

Need to reconsider the way they bring good out, went with family for a birthday and my mums food came out and she was finished before anything else, my dad had to wait the best part of an hour before he got his food.

Absolutely shambolic management ignoring you,not even trying to solve the problem out when your partner has finished the meal and you are still waiting for yours. Will never come back

Restaurant was super busy. Food was very slow, but in an unorganised way. Ordered four mains and one came out 30 minutes afterwards despite there being two of each dish which made no sense. Ordered ginger chicken udon noodles and it came with a less than one inch piece of chicken. Replacement given but had to ask twice and had to prompt three times for starters which didn’t arrive for half an hour. No reduction or discount offered. App didn’t work to pay.

Went with my son on a midweek evening. Our server was Matt and he did a great job of talking him through and the different spicing levels to make sure he was comfortable with what we were ordering so that he could explore within his comfort zone.

I'd like to express my gratitude after visiting here, when one of us inadvertently ordered an overly spicy meal. A substitute was provided free of charge.

Forgot most of my partners food, Deliveroo refund but that’s not exactly the point. You wait over an hour for food and then it’s too late to order elsewhere and you’ve got no dinner. Happened before with this Wagamama, avoid ordering. How hard is it to pack some food?

The food was alright, but the service was really bad that one of the staff wasn’t willing to take my order even she saw me waving at her multiple times. I’m so disappointed.

This restaurant seems to run efficiently and with an extra effort put into providing a friendly service. One of our group has a nut allergy and he was catered for safely, which meant we were all happy. Special mention to Florin who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience.

Wow. First time at Wagamama. We walked past this place for years and always thought it was an Asian McDonald’s type of cuisine but with a food voucher in hand we gave it ago… We were blown away! Everything was tasty. We ordered a mild chicken and prawn curry, cloudy lemonade, two sides (Fire chicken and Duck Bao buns). We were stuffed and could have just had one side between us. The curry had great flavours, the fire cracker chicken side with teriyaki sauce was out of this world. The Bao buns were our first try and they didn’t pack the flavours we were wanting but it was worth a try. Lemonade wasn’t as large as we expected and was a little watery in taste. But food came out quick considering peak time on a Saturday night, and we only had to queue for 10 mins which we felt was ok. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere, if a little loud at times. We will be back for sure. We’ve been truly Wagamama’d 🤩

We visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday. Everything was perfect! The waiters very helpful and smiling, the food very tasty, we were surprised that we tried. The manager of the store, Michael was very helpful, he left us with the best impressions. Thanks Michael 😊

Always treat myself and a friend to Wagamamas there are so many good options to choose from and my friend being vegetarian can easily choose from the many vegetarian options available. The staff are attentive and polite and I’ve always been welcomed with smiling faces (: i definitely recommend coming to this Wagamamas !!

This particular Wagamama restaurant has to be one of the best we have been to. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, and it was very delicious. The service was very good, and we appreciate the care Charly S. and Ffion showed us. They were excellent servers. Consistency in food quality and service is important for any restaurant, and Wagamama seems to do this so well every time.

The food let it down. The Pad Thai was bland and some of the noodles burnt. We've had this experience twice now, so wasn't a one off. Such a shame, Wagamama in the naughties did a great pad thai. Not anymore and we won't be returning.

😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡Ordered the chicken Katsu curry I can honestly say to what I remember this is the worst curry I have ever had, I could not eat it. The sauce was ridiculously over salted The rice was terribly bland and watery and the chicken was just chicken with breadcrumbs so after tasting it all the next thing was to throw it in the bin and that’s exactly what I did. very disappointed and for this I rate a generous one star. I won’t be using them ever again, I did call up the manager and explain it to him whose name was Michael he then told me to go back to Deliveroo.😡😡😡😡😡Well I think that’s totally out of order because it’s not Deliveroo fault it’s the restaurants (chef) so I don’t know what he’s talking about, he seems to have wasted my time. It cost me over £16 with that I feel ripped off😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤠

Oliver is my life blood he saved me in my darkest most hungover hour (1.30 pm on a thursday) with the biggest smile and was such a sweetheart, as were all the staff. Oliver is the brightest star he has helped me be ready for another night of heavy drinking. Food so good i fell asleep at the table and drinks so great they woke me up again the strawberry matcha latte is all we have left of the garden of eden, I have tasted heaven and found God in this wagamamas

Had a really gorgeous meal here today . The duck saku saku was so tasty and my wife would have licked the bowl clean of her beef hot pot if she could . The cocktails were delicious especially the sangria one . Our server the young FOH manager Charly with a Y was really attentive and friendly. Definitely be back asap

Vino a almorzar. Se sentó muy rápido, concedía que no estaba ocupado. Orden tomada por un miembro del personal muy amable, Charlie creo. Las bebidas llegaron rápido. Main llegó unos cinco minutos después. Lado un par de minutos mientras meto en mi tubería principal. Toda la comida era sabrosa / caliente / servido por un amable miembro del personal. En general, una gran visita. Sigue así, Brighton.

Polite and friendly staff, good old usual Wagamama ramen, can be very noisy and loud but that’s part of the experience I guess!

While I prefer to eat in Indy concepts when visiting Brighton this outpost of Wagas was decent enough and service was especially spot on. Love the vegan choices and hope they will stay

Food ok,but not exceptional considering is not cheap

Weird branch of Wagamama. We are unable to get a seat we wanted in a half empty place with a lame excuse that there is no staff to cover all the tables. Then we had to deal with a very odd manager or leader who offered very poor customer service. Didn't catch her name. Just noticed a lot of lip injections paired with an awful attitude. We have asked for separate bills and we had to repeat that 3 times for her to understand during stay. When she finally did she tried to be very passive aggressive and unpleasant to us. Never again!

Friendly staff but they stood around for 5+ minutes in front of our drinks that were ready talking before they ran them to us. Food was good!

I've been to many wagamamas over the country but somehow the Brighton one just beats the others everytime. The staff are always lovely and make me feel like they know me. This time dining on my own for the first time I felt a bit out of place with the families and couples but was put at ease my lovely server who couldn't do enough for me.

Wagamama is by far my favourite restaurant! Been twice to this specific location recently and i always get the shirodashi ramen with an extra tea stained egg and it never misses, the meat is always so tender and melts in your mouth! The broth is so rich in flavour and is delicious and there is a generous portion of edemame, menma and meat. We had Kiri as our server both times in a row. She is always so lovely, welcoming and bubbly and her enthusiasm made our dining experience more enjoyable! I would love to give her this special mention since I forgot her name the first time!!! <3 :) I also really like the fact that they now have a loyalty app since I go to Wagamama a lot

The reason for my rating is that last Friday, we had to wait to be seated long time due to staff shortages. They could obly serve reduce number of tables :( Probably busiest weekend of the year and the place was understaffed. Workers tried the best they could, but managers should have done something about it. Wonder why suddenly many workers were offsick during prude weekend. :(

AWFUL EXPERIENCE AVOID AT ALL COSTS ,I was there today , (will add a picture of what I ordered), I have severe food poisoning after eating there and I had to go to the emergency. additionally The only thing that is on my vomit is everything I ate there, and mainly their kimchi SAVE YOURSELFS FROM THIS PLACE !! I been suffering for hours now due to the food poisoning that this place gave me !!! And surprisingly other people end up having severe food poisoning after eating here if you see other reviews 👐🏻👐🏻awful !!!

I’m going to start this off and tell you the struggle of writing this review….its making me so hungry. So I went friend evening aka date night. Me and the girlfriend ordered a fair amount as we were hungry! We ordered .Hoisin pulled duck buns .Edamame with simply salt .Chicken yakitori .Chicken firecracker .Chicken gochujang Plus drinks And my goodnesssssss!! It was so damn good. We have been to a few Wagamamas before but Brighton seems to be the nicest! In atmosphere. Staff and tastes! We are everything we could and couldn’t fault anything! Staff 100/10 Food 100/10 Date100/10

Great food and an excellent service, the type of food and the details were explained well before ordering

Food came out a ridiculously different times so much so that I ate separately to my partner. When we complained we was met with complete uninterest. My food tasted like a pot noodle and the portion size was very questionable, again, when I politely made a complaint another bored looking waitress just kinda shrugged her shoulders... Will not return.

Asked for the steak medium, and sliced thinly, and it was done perfectly. Great meal and service all round :)

Got food poisoning! On Monday 1st of July I ate here with a friend and I ordered my usual dish of chicken+prawn yaki soba nothing seemed off until I was waiting to pay and suddenly felt nauseous I rushed to the bathroom. I had to take a taxi to where I was staying and had food poisoning symptoms for 24 hours so I know it wasn’t a virus. I am leaving this review to let this establish know that something has happened and should review their produce/health and safety standards so this doesn’t happen to someone else. Truly disappointing as I had cancel my holiday.

Great for allergies. Service a bit slow, but it was late and they were busy. Usual menu choices. Not much variety for gluten free though.

Had reservations about entering as so many good Independant restaurant in the area - but wife had a voucher. - £55 for 3 cokes and 3 bowls of noodles. - My sons meal came out 10 mins before ours. -3 different meals tasted pretty much the same -Voucher didn’t work Should have gone with my first instincts..

Came to eat here with family this evening and we all enjoyed throughly especially down to the lovely waiters and waitresses on shift tonight, they were warm, accommodating, helpful, and attentive. They created a lovely vibe for our meal tonight, thanks guys! + the food was gorgeous :)

I ordered a ramen and it was very bad. It looked like hospital food, it didn't taste like ramen. A regrettable waste of money.

Little bit of a wait to get seated. Staff were busy so we found that we were waiting a lot to get service and ordering drinks and dessert was extremely slow. We asked for some drinks and they never showed up and had to keep asking for them. We had to send one dish back but the staff were really helpful and cooked another dish for us. However, when the bill came it still had the dish we sent back on it (ie we were charged twice for a dish). Again, the staff were happy to help and removed it. Would I go back here - not really. Sorry !

New pudding was lovely, baobuns and mains were over priced. Servers were excellent and attentive.

Another superb meal at our local Waggas in Brighton. Florian and the team really looked after us, as usual, but this time with a great recommendation on a some new dishes, which were really tasty.

Waiter took forever to notice us, took around 20 minutes before they even took our order. Then, shocker, waiting even longer for all our food to arrive. Drinks sat on the bar so long the ice had melted, then the icing on top... Bug in my drink, I'll give this place a miss next time. What a hot mess

Seemingly very busy any time I've been there, however the staff are very good and the place is very clean and the food never seems to suffer. Queue wait times can be slow even if a party of 2

This place had very good reviews, so I was excited to try it. We ordered for delivery and it was....underwhelming. The noodles and rice were very greasy, and the goyza tasted very fad. Too bad. I really wanted to love their food. The delivery was on time though.

If you want to taste Japanese dishes in Brighton City, you are in the right place!

Takeaway order was late, rude and dismissive waiter called Jack who made the experience worse. Kindly teach your staff to be respectful to all the customers regardless of this ethnic backgrounds. Food was great hence the 2 stars.

A very disappointing visit. Used the QR code to pay for our meals as this was a business trip meal. I was charged twice when my card details were only entered once! Asked for the duplication to be refunded, I was told this would take 7-10 days, no apology from the waitress. Asked to speak to the manager, again no apology and she processed the refund on a laptop, no receipt or proof given. The manager was quite rude, not apologetic about the error with their payment software her response was ‘some days it works correctly and other days it doesn’t’. Avoid, the food was also not very good all starters came out just warm and not hot.

Friendly service and the food is great . Try the bang bang cauliflower if you haven't already.

What a lovely change. My previous visit was very disappointing. After i had a great chat from the manager of this branch, from seeing my review on here. I gave this branch another visit. Was seated by a friendly staff member. Order taken and was eating within fifteen minutes, joy. I couldn't believe the difference in those two visits, staff rushing round keeping customers happy, the service was second to none, food tasty and mosty hot. Sadly i can't remember the ladies name, it began with 'C', possibly Spanish / Portuguese. Sorry. But you are doing a fantastic job. See you soon.

We came in today for lunch and the place was very busy. On leaving my partner left something behind and Charlie Lewis went above and beyond to help.

Tempted by my son's good opinion, we went out for dinner together. This is my first meeting with wagamama and probably not the last. Food absolutely amazing! The starter in the form of bao buns stuffed with pulled beef is very tasty. For the main courses, we chose pad thai with chicken and shrimps and chicken katsu curry, which were delicious. Fresh, crunchy vegetables. Free hot green tea is a nice bonus for customers. The service was friendly and very helpful. I rate the whole thing very well.

We went in early evening on Saturday and we were seated and served really quickly. We had 2 starters and 2 mains along with drinks and all of them came very quickly. Our server was really nice and chatty and he made us feel really welcome.

Brighton local. Been here twice and both times the service has been horrific. The first time - went as a group of 4. I am well aware food comes out at different times but 3 of my friends had been served and FINISHED their meals before mine had even arrived. The second time, we received our calamari 20 minutes after FINISHING our mains - at that point we just sent it back as no longer wanted it. Both times the waiting staff were difficult to get ahold on and really inattentive. Eaten at lots of Wagamama chains before but never experienced service this bad. Will never be going back to brighton branch.

Mixed feelings about Wagamama. The food was absolutely gorgeous and for a pretty reasonable price. However, the waiter took ages to come to us, the food all came out at different times and the front door was open and we all got pretty cold. Would come back though.

Something different, the food is awesome

This was the first time using this brighton wagamama and I can honestly say it was rubbish compared to others I have eaten at The chicken was so dry there was a very big shortage of sauce and when we ask the staff for a bit more sauce as it was so dry they charged it to out bill I did refuse to pay for the sauce as this should have come with the dried out chicken meal eventually they took it off the bill Won't be eating at that branch again

Yeah great as per usual, helpful, friendly and professional staff. Fast service and great for the kids.

Came for some quick food, only been here a couple of times and the food was honestly delicious. Our waitress, Emma was honestly amazing, recommended her favourites dishes and was smiley and very attentive throughout the whole time. Thank you Emma!

I took some friends out for a meal in Brighton Wagamamas and the service by our waitress Emma was brilliant! She was able to recommend the birthday girl a main dish and desert, it came out quickly and she loved it! I was very happy with the prices and overall the experience was great, we will be coming again asap. I highly recommend the mini fish bites on the kids menu if you want a few starters and a small main too.
