First visit for a while . Decor revamped since last visit very nice. Good varied menu choices . Mixed platter starter very nice. I had the meat thali main which was great and hubby had a chicken curry from the specials which he said was very good. Good service and will return .

This restaurant is the best in Kent if not the South East of England if not in the UK! It is amazing. All the staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The ambience of the restaurant is delightful - the music is not too loud, the lighting is warm, but the most incredible thing is the food!!!!!! We have traveled all over the world and this is the best food we have ever tasted. The flavours are so rich, the ingredients are so fresh, the meat is so tender, the vegetables are so perfectly cooked… the meal was a taste sensation. And Naz the owner, well a nicer gentleman you could not meet. When I asked for advice over a choice of dish his expertise and recommendation were faultless. We had a truly wonderful evening here - beautiful in every way. Especially the food . 😋

Me and my partner visited after my Partner recommended it after visiting a couple years back. We turned up early for our booking, but luckily we were seated straight away. The table wasn’t the greatest, my back was facing the window and it was absolutely freezing, but wasn’t like we could be moved, as it was very busy. We ordered our drinks and food, asking for the all starters and mains be brought together, but about 5 mins later, the starters were brought out. We then waited an hour more for our mains, which wouldn’t have been a problem, but we wasn’t even asked if we wanted any more drinks! It was almost like we was invisible, on numerous occasions we tried to catch the attention to the waiters. When the food did arrive, we wasn’t actually given any plates, so had to wait for them. We was also shocked that the starters we had already had, but ordered to come with main, had also come with our mains!! I made this known and was told we wouldn’t have to pay twice. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, what really baffles me is that the samosas you get in Indian restaurant are always the small frozen variety, not the sort you get in Indian sweet stores, yet you are charged almost 10 times the price! I probably wouldn’t go back, nor recommend this restaurant just based on the service.

We visited here for a birthday and had a lovely meal. No complaints with any of the food, all cooked perfectly and so tasty. The service was fantastic too and we’re even happy to light candles for the birthday cake! This is now our 4th/5th visit and it’s never disappointed so will definitely be back again.

Really nice food delivered on time.

Used to be great but gone down hill so fast. Had so many items missing recently and quality is not great! Last straw i waited 2 hours then when it did arrive it was awful AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The person who takes orders on the phone, is so bloody rude and too impatient. I just tried to order using my card and because it was declined, he hung up on me because he wouldn't wait 15s for me to get another card. He even tried calling me back on a mobile number multiple times, texting me also. I was regularly ordering from here but not no more, I would never hang up on a customer like that at my job. Disgusting.

On holiday at Haven. Found Taj online. Decided to drive the few minutes on Friday evening. Ordered in the Takeaway. Friendly staff. Busy with phone calls and deliveries. Waited half an hour and the order was well worth it. Plenty of chicken in the very spicy Chicken Naga and lovely juicy King Prawns in the Balti. The whole meal was delicious.
