Taj Cuisine in Medway

On holiday at Haven. Found Taj online. Decided to drive the few minutes on Friday evening. Ordered in the Takeaway. Friendly staff. Busy with phone calls and deliveries. Waited half an hour and the order was well worth it. Plenty of chicken in the very spicy Chicken Naga and lovely juicy King Prawns in the Balti. The whole meal was delicious.

Dont waste your money, food was steadily going downhill and has now hit rock bottom. Chicken was not marinated and overcooked. Sauces were bland.

Me and a friend ordered from here tonight was one of the best Indians I’ve ever had and been a contractor I’ve had my fair share of Indians, highly recommend will definitely be paying another visit next times I’m down this way

used to get my curries from here when it first opened and it was good. Now 2 years on and thought I'd give it another go! After a few bad experiences! Ordered chicken tikka madras and a keema nan. I opened the curry and it hasn't changed, the madras sauce was so watery that it was more like soup. I will say that there were quite a few chicken pieces in the meal and to be fair they did taste good, that said I had to thicken the sauce with grave granules so that it did pass straight through the rice. The nan was also pretty poor and niether tasted fresh and in all honesty I've had better from a supermarket. I won't be ordering again from here unless it changes hands, but the choice is yours...you have been warned.

We have always collected food before and would advise collecting as the food is good, the delivery is dreadful. We gave clear directions and live c 2 miles from the restaurant yet the delivery was 1 hour 15 miuites later than advised and it arrived cold.

When i moved here 3 years ago i was so happy to have a great indian takeaway a moments walk from my house but not i go to hoo instead. Ive tried 3 times in the hope they would improve but everytime you order they are so late on the order, one order was worth over £90 and they literally started cooking it as i walked in the door and this has happened 3 times! if you dont trust your customers whats the point! also managed to mess up an order of meat samosa and gave us the smallest portion of pakora. on the occasion i called regarding the samosa they told me they would refund me but after months of waiting no one has arrived. AVOID AVOID AVOID use the chinese or if you want a curry go to Hoo

Just had 2 take away meals from the Taj. The food was really delicious and more than enough for us. The value for money was good and the staff were all friendly and professional. We will definitely be regulars.

This take away does not deserve a rating Ordered food and was given a time of an hour and a quarter (no complaint about that perfectly understandable) But to turn up after that time and then have to wait for a further hour as they then cooked the meal with out a word and then when we finally took it home less than 5 mins from the shop some it was cold this place is a joke. I have used this place before but things have gone very much down hill

Do Not recommend. Have been regular users for years, the standard has gradually gone downhill and this meal will be the last. Expensive, small portions and after 2 HOURS to deliever 5 miles we were missing parts of our order. Such a shame.

Having used this takeaway for over 2 years, in recent months it has gone majorly down hill, especially with regards to its delivery service. Having ordered food today via just eat and being updated that my order would be delivered at a set time. They set the order to delivered and half hour later was still Sat waiting to the point I ended up contacting just eat customer service as could not get through to the restaurant for in excess of 20 minutes to find out what was going on with my order. I am as of yet still waiting, the guys at just eat did their best to help however and can't fault them.

A real disappointment as what used to be a nice takeaway has turned into a less than mediocre establishment. Long waits for poor quality bland food, undercooked lentils and chicken. To add insult to injury they have increased their prices. Sad to say this will be our last visit.

We have been regulars for 5 years, over the last 6 months this take away has gone down hill. Delivery time is generally 2 hours if you order at 5pm when they open. Dishes missing and defiantly smaller. Called restaurant and staff did not seem concerned they were very defensive. Decided to give it one final try this evening. Only to be told they wont take any more orders from us. Obviously doing so well they can turn customers away !!!

We have been regulars here for years, but no more. It has gradually gone down hill. We have a regular delivery and the time it has taken has got longer.. and we have had dishes missing more than once.. we will not be using this place again. We ordered enough for 4 at 5pm on a sunday evening to be delievered less than 4 miles away! We finally received our meal after waiting over two hours! The meal was cold and there was important dishes missing. We are done! Do NOT recommend. Spoke to local friends who have experienced the same. Sorry to say.. avoid!
