food arrived late, when I started unpacking it there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the bag. The food containers had so much oil on them. I've never seen anything like it! the food was very oily, especially the tarka deal - there was about 1cm of oil on the surface. by the time id mopped up the oil the food had gotten cold. It's a shame as I've never had a late delivery or had the oil issue in the past. But because of this I won't be ordering again.

Order from Cumin a fair bit but tonights experience was disappointing! Don’t mind a 1hr 30 wait for food but it just wasn’t their usual standard. One of the curry’s was on its side and leaked pure oil all around the bag, the madras was ridiculously spicy and we are not shy with spice but it was way too much ! The madras was swimming in oil and the lamb was so tough i couldn’t bite through. Luke warm food and just a tiny pot of chutney for poppadoms. Threw most of our dinner away I’m afraid :/

Takeaway was stone cold on arrival. Meat looked processed and had no taste didn't even resemble chicken. Hugely disappointed.

Food arrived late was expensive and taste of nothing most bland Indian food I’ve ever eaten compared to some of the other restaurants in the area. It’s at the bottom.

Cumin Clubs menu has so much choice and has a lot of authentic curries to choose from not just the same old curries.It was definitely the best tasting curry I’ve had from a food app and will be using on a regular basis.

Would not recommend this Indian restaurant. Service non existent, two waiters for a Saturday night. Food not good, especially the lamb, it was so tough. Would never go back.

Never fail to have anything but good food from here and we have never had to wait very long for delivery. Always have had what we ordered without problems.

Poppadoms were a bit burnt and a very small portion of chips

Service was poor, waiting staff were abrupt and did not fill the base level fundamental of waiting the table. 4 times we asked for some water before finally getting 2 glasses for a table of 4. Food was at best average, toughest lamb chops I've ever eaten and theynwere ordered at the waiters recommendation! Main course tasted like it had used a can of Heinz soup for the base, tasted really sweet, but also tremendously over-salted as well there were few discernable flavours in relation to how it was described on the menu. Everything seemed to be a problem for the staff. Starters turned up at different times. I don't do reviews like this to be nasty to restaurants or out of spite. We paid the full bill, it was just really disappointing. I didn't feel like we were welcomed to the restaurant, the food was bad, service was poor. There isn't a lack of choice for subcontinental food in Medway and I won't be returning here. I did try and speak to the staff but they almost went out of their way to behave like having paying customers was a problem they didn't need, which is fine. 4 less future customers to worry about

If you're looking for a fantastic Indian meal and top notch service... This is the place. Never disappointed in all the years I've been a patron. Dining in or taking away, these guys do Indian cuisine with style and finesse 😏👌🏽 Cannot recommend enough. Absolutely fantastic food, choice of settings, sometimes quiet and warm, occasionally lively with groups but all are welcomed and treated as royalty. If you want to eat well and enjoy the experience, head to the end of the High Street... Cumin Club is second to none !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Meat was very tough and everything had too much oil

We had the set menu banquet for two, more than enough food for two which was great for c.£25 each. However it all tasted mediocre. Service was fine and the decor and surroundings quite new and modern.

Lamb balti & keema rice - beautiful! Friendly helpful staff Was dead as early on a weekday, nice place to be for a good curry.

This is about there take away in the delce rochester , rude do not use them . Ordered for years and now they are shocking , 1 hour late with food missing. Rude when I questioned the missing food twice . DONT bother

Very busy on a Saturday evening, the staff were working so hard! Despite this the service was great and we didn't feel ignored at any point. The food was excellent, I liked that they asked whether we wanted poppadoms rather than assume we did. I would definitely eat here again - book ahead if you're visiting on a Saturday.

Good atmosphere and service. Good variety of dishes. Good choice of drinks and staff were friendly and efficient. Several families were in the restaurant and you could tell many regulars. The only thing my partner does not like is when dishes are bright red in colour which looks artificial but in terms of taste it was excellent.

Initially I was going to give an average rating, but because the staff were rude at the end, it soured the mood. So to start with, the food is over-priced. Over-priced can work if your food is great, but the food here is not good. These are some of the most mediocre curries I have eaten in a long time. They do a "banquet" deal, which I will admit is a good deal for what you get, and the portion sizes are good. One of the servers was practically inaudible. Service was a basic standard, which brings me to the next point. When it came to paying for the meal, the card machine voided a few times, which was a problem on their end (otherwise it would have said declined). Secondly the server (not the inaudible one) got pissy when my wife selected no tip, he was aggressively ripping the paper off from the machine and avoiding eye contact. As I said before, the service was basic, so you do not deserve a tip. Even more importantly, you referred to her as a sir earlier in the meal so you dug your own grave. Get better.

probably the best Korma we've ever had. the sauce is a little thin, but it is tasty and portion sizes are just right. the driver was courteous and friendly

We had a gorgeous meal. Great range of dishes, both traditional and less common. The service was excellent and the atmosphere welcoming. Highly recommended.

The fish dishes are expensive £22 and not brilliant. The prawn dish had only 2 big butterflied prawns for £18. overall it was average.

The salad had sat on a hot plate and was cooked, the breads were cold and soggy. The other items were luke warm at best, greasy and has taken half an hour to try to recover even a small part to eat. Contacted JustEat and they expect me to sit here photography all the dishes.

Supermarket onion baji is better than this . Chicken tikka masala tasteless No salad with the popadoms No spice at all in the mains

Not their best. Booked for 7:20pm as was working today. Had just walked through the door when it turned up at 7pm. It was lukewarm and flavourless today. Such a shame. Not their usual standard at all.

First time I’d been to the Cumin club in Rochester and I love round the corner… I’ll deffo be going back! Service was outstanding! Every member of the team was helpful, polite and always there when you needed something. The food… WOW! Amazing! Everything tasted exceptional!

This restaurant took my booking for a table and when we arrived I was kept waiting for 10 minutes as they looked for a table for me then said they had given the table away but we was on time Then asked me to wait for another 20 minutes for another table with no apology I would not go here again ever as the customer service was terrible

Order wasn’t delivered and money taken under false pretences.

Forgot I'd ordered from here before and said I'd 'never order again'. Sad tummy within a few hours this time - make of that what you will. I'll definitely not forget this time to never order again!

Happy to be a regular customer of this restaurant for date nights or special get togethers. Food is always amazing.

We received a recommendation to attend this local restaurant and was underwhelmed. We love indian food but this did not meet our standards or expectations. The wait was too long, the Shahi lamb which is featured as connoisseur cooking did not have any flavour at all and at the price was extremely disappointing. The same applied to maynamothi which was flavourless and the prawns were difficult to peel and no plate was provided for the shells. The food was not hot after a very long wait and when I pointed this out there was no acknowledgment or apology for this. Knowing your restaurant is fully booked and with only 2 staff working, is unprofessional and bared relevance to the service we received. We asked about allergies and requested water which we had to again request the information and water twice. But the peshwari nan was delicious!! As this is the first visit, I usually cut restaurants slack and will give them the opportunity to redeem themselves and will return one more time to assess.

My friend booked a table for us to have an evening meal here. We arrived slightly early but were welcomed and immediately shown to our table. The waiter was friendly and helped us with the menu. We asked for a vegan option menu and there was plenty of choice. The service was great and we never had to wait longer than fifteen minutes for food or drinks. The restaurant has a stylish decor and is clean and well presented. The toilets were spotless, which is always a good sign! We had poppadoms which came with tasty dips and then coriander mushrooms followed by two vegan curries with Chapati and rice. Honestly the food was up there with the best I have tasted, the fusion of flavours were amazing! I had Shobzi Tava and my friend had Shobzi Piaza. Reasonably priced and all in all a great experience. Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous meal. Very good service including happily preparing dishes not on the menu. LOTS of chicken tikka in the curries. Thoroughly enjoyed eating here and so glad we were not put off by some of the negative reviews we read on here. Great value too. Highly recommended.

Outstanding menu excellent menu

First order from the Cumin Club. Probably one of the best takeaways we have ever had. Spices well balanced and true to heat level. Will definitely be back.

Food was really bland, of late it just lacks something.

Could not fault the flavor the only down side was some of the chicken piece where a little bit tough.

Disappointed tonight because the food is normally very good. I had a lamb madras and the lamb was really overcooked and tough.

Sadly the lamb dish wasn’t up to the normal high standards, lamb being dry and tough and the sauce was a different consistency, seemed dryer. Other half thoroughly enjoyed his meal, and the sides were all good.

Food was delicious as always, delivered on time and piping hot. The tikka masala had a bit more spice than I'm used to but I think that made it much much nicer. Only downside, for the price of the samosas I think you should at least get 3. Other than that, beautiful

Had to wait a hour and half for food to be served after order, very cold when arrived and meat in bhuna uneatable so unfortunately not happy.

Came as a work office meal. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but it was only 6pm on a Monday. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good selection on the menu and we were informed they could prepare anything that wasn't on there. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it! Would definitely return.

Food fantastic and brilliant staff

I recommended this place to my friend as a great place to eat, contemporary cuisine and excellent service. A lot had changed in 2 years. The service is still great but I felt they prefer to host larger groups because if you're a couple you'll be placed in a row down the centre of the restaurant so you feel like you're eating in a corridor. The 'connoisseur' menu sounds enticing as is a step away from your usual curry house offering and from experience was worth it but not this time. Chewy overcooked meat and over salted. On top of that the large groups of drunk middle age men trying to start fights with each other were equally off putting and we thought at one point our food and table would go flying. Could not wait to leave. Expensive for what it was.

Sorry to say but, food was cold and had to be reheated in microwave, madras was too hot, more like a vindaloo. Bag was melted for some reason. Tikka was very dry. Poppadoms tasted stale but were greasy, strange. Wife has had a poor stomach all night. Not a great experience.

Terrible experience - food was cold and some of it uncooked. Wrong orders delivered repeatedly. It’s quite hard to mess up a curry dish but I’m afraid this restaurant managed it.
