The best restaurants serving Asian food in North East

They don’t even sell sushi anymore, I went there expecting sushi box as they have done for years and they have some, dry horrible duck hanging on a kebab spit roaster, I asked the lady where she sushi was and she looked at me as if I was stupid , like my bad for assuming “Nudo SUSHI box” sold sushi, what an absolute disappointment, I’ve enjoyed the sushi there for a long time, shame to see they have downgraded, I expect them to close soon as there is no point in them being open, also they should change the name

On one of my nostalgic trips back home to the North East - not complete without a lovely curry down the quayside. And Rani did not disappoint. Lovely food and service, thank you.

El hombre que tomó nuestra orden limpió los baños con un paño. Luego limpió las mesas del restaurante con el mismo paño. Nunca se lavó las manos y decidió recoger bandejas de pepinillo. La comida era tan mala. Debe ser higiene de 1 estrella. No vayas.

We used to love this place. Tonight (7th Mar) it gave us a horrible experience. We placed our order of 6 items at around 7:30pm, was told there would be a wait which was fine for us. We ordered raw prawns as starter. 4 of the 6 items came out after a reasonable wait time. The raw prawns never came. We chased for numerous times (6-7 times), saying it's RAW prawns, they are starters that don't require cooking. Why would the wait be so long after our main dishes are finished? Eventually we were too fed up and asked to cancel the raw prawns, the staff acknowledged but didn't tell me if he managed to cancel it. After around 10-15 mins. The raw prawns finally came (as desserts???) at 9:10pm!!!!!! The staff whom I asked to help cancel didn't even offer any apology through out the night! Horrible service. We won't be back in the near future.

Seis tabiques u octogenarios para nuestro 46o año de cenas mensuales. Servir bien, bebidas iniciales buenas, poppadums buenos, entrantes buenos y platos principales particularmente buenos. De hecho, una muy buena noche.

Lovely Puri. Veg korma and saag paneer were pretty good, however if i'm going to have a takeaway I want it to be the best. Chips not worth the calories, paratha not worth the calories, veg samosa not worth the calories. Didn't like the Tarka Dahl.

Lovely food in a no fuss manner

The food was delicious and reasonable. We got a takeaway, but in the short time we were in the restaurant to collect the meal, the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Después de leer algunos comentarios negativos, tuve que agregar mis pensamientos. Habiendo aparecido en una hora de almuerzo para una caja para llevar de comida mixta. Tienes que seleccionar y llenar tu caja desde el baño maría al lado de la ventana. El lugar es pequeño y estábamos haciendo cola con la oficina local y los trabajadores de la construcción. Nos sorprendió tanto la buena relación calidad-precio de la comida que decidimos regresar unos días más tarde para sentarnos dentro y nuevamente quedamos muy impresionados con la comida y el servicio.

Llevo aquí más de 10 años y mucho cariño por este lugar. Nunca decepciona. Personal amable a precios razonables y productos horneados muy deliciosos y suaves. Ofrecen una variedad de pasteles de cumpleaños personalizados y yo y mi familia los hemos estado recibiendo cada año de Breadpoint sin dudarlo, ya que los pasteles occidentales siempre han sido demasiado dulces para nuestras papilas gustativas. Suave, ligera, esponjosa y no excesivamente endulzada, la tarta de frutas de cumpleaños (crema con rodajas de almendra a los lados) es su alimento básico característico y 100% digno de probar. Me encanta su matcha roll, rollo de vainilla, tartas de huevo, bollo de piña y bollos de char siu. También he estado en una panadería londinense en Chinatown recientemente y la calidad está a la par entre sí. Espero que algún día puedan ofrecer una rebanada de pastel pandan también.

Tried a few times generally decent food except the chicken is awful and lets the place down. Same issue with previously named Vuchan. Two better Indians in SR3.

Visitado en mi cumpleaños con mi marido para el desayuno. Justo decir que la experiencia fue decepcionante. Ambiente cero, aunque recibido por un personal amable y atento. La comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Sorprendido de que un establecimiento de alta gama esté feliz de servir pan en rodajas barato. Hay tantas opciones locales y panaderos locales, que siento que el restaurante debería estar obteniendo ingredientes de mayor calidad. Como puedes ver en mi foto, mi aguacate en tostadas era increíblemente básico. Similar a lo que esperaría que me atendieran en un café de calle, no en un ‘hotel de lujo’. Dejó comentarios al personal que no podía preocuparse menos para ser honesto. En el futuro sabemos que no visitar para una ocasión especial, ya que la comida y el ambiente estaba lejos de ser especial.

In the area for work and was bored with hotel so we decided to try somewhere else so we tried this jewel in the crown of Hartlepool's food scene and it didn't dissapoint so will definitely go back next time we are nearby... service, food, welcome all top notch
