Terrible experience with the man on the phone he was so rude

Staff were lovely but I am very disappointed with the food. Ordered kebab supreme which says on the menu mix of chicken Shiah and doner. There was no chicken or doner meat only two shush kebabs and a very small sprinkling of peppers and onion.

Ordered the meal for 2. I got 2 Bhuna prawn on puris, one of which I got spicy. 1 tikka pathia, 1 lamb achari, 2 tikka rice and a saag paneer. Let me start by saying I understand it was New Year’s Eve so there will be delays. The food was over 1 hour late which is shocking, upto half an hour I would’ve understood. Now for the food, I really enjoyed the starters, couldn’t complain about them at all, but the mains, I got 6 pieces of small meats in each curry and the tikka rice might as well have b

Ordered at 6.30 on just eat and the wait was 1.5 hours. After 2 hours I rang just to check the order, and was told it would be half an hour. I rang back after an hour to be spoken to by someone who thought I was someone else. I explained we’d waited over 3 hours to be told you haven’t even paid for it, and they now didn’t have the order. Just eat are saying it’s been delivered. So no food and very rude staff…if they were that busy just eat should be aware.

Would never order from here again butter chicken was bland just tasted of oil. Both the butter chicken and madras poor quality with not much meat and onion bhaji over cooked.

I did not get my starter , I got a portion of rice then another half portion of rice which looked like it had been opened bit no starter , very disappointed, first time ordering from This restaurant and won’t be ordering again , not a difficult order to get right !! Not good enough

Absolutely lovely! Only fault was a bit late which meant food was a tad cold - usually get more than 6 KP in a meal but hey cost of living crisis??

Unfortunately was sent a lamb madras instead of the jalfrezi I ordered but other than that it was lovely.

We were updated that it was going to be late, which we understood. However the food was cold when it arrived and very bland. Won’t order from here again, unfortunately. Decent size of portions, however.

Spent a lot of money for meals that we felt let us down. Food arrived hot, and the at time specified. Food looked very appetising once opened, but in the curries, there wasn't much meats.chicken tikka Massala, there were 6 small chunks of chicken, and the rest was all sauce, tasty sauce it was though.. also disappointing was the mixed kebab main. It was all dry meats, very chewy. We've sampled the foods for the 1st time, and we wouldn't say never again, but they need to up their game because seeing other reviews, I think we've been unlucky with our order, as the reviews previously have flattered to deceive. All in all 4 stars for our meal, even though we felt deflated.

I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in the north east and this is the worst , expensive and tasteless, the lamb was burnt so could not eat it and the few bits of chicken in the main were all dried out probably heated up so many times and the Staff were miserable.

Sauce was slightly runny and the naan breads where stale. 6 bits of meat per curry.

First time ordering, not for me. Naan and dips were fine. The Bombay aloo, chicken chaat and curries all had overwhelming flavours and not in a good way. It’s the worst Indian food I’ve ever had unfortunately.

This was without a doubt the absolute worse soo called Indian, Bangladeshi food I have ever eaten, by a country mile. How do I know you ask, well I was born in Bangladesh, my father was Indian and I moved to the UK in 1985 and since then I have had the pleasure of eating REAL Indian and Bangladeshi food and this is not it. To start with the order was 40 mins later than the delivery time, but to have this awful food delivered late was just an insult. All of the dishes were cooked from the same base sauce, the words from my 8 and half year old son who was born here, it does not get any more of a joke than that. If your chef would like to discuss any of the points I have made, please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to explain myself further and to understand where this soo called Indian, Bangladeshi food origins are. Never ever again, disgraceful and embarrassing.

Food arrived nice and hot ordered garlic Nan tasted more like a plain Nan chips looked and tasted old and reheated and Rogan sauce was quite bland. On the plus side rice was tasty lamb was also tasty but over all mediocre

Not happy with Tandoori chicken on bone after I smelt it was off, had to bin it..

Onion bhaji was hard, felt like it had been from previous day! Curry was warm, not hot and tasted bland. Buna prawn on puri was lovely.

Always order here because the food is always excellent. Quality never dips. Was delivered ahead of time. Staff are always friendly. Loads of choice. Can’t be beat.

Food was delicious, arrived early the delivery driver gave us a ring to let us know he had dropped it off per our drop off request. Food was piping hot throughly enjoyed it will defo make this my go to Indians when I back in Newcastle.

I somehow managed to order to the wrong address. Nafiza's called me up to tell me that the person who it went to had called them to say it wasn't theirs. They then sent me another very quickly..so grateful, a wonderful service...the curry was amazing too 😁

Food was gorgeous, piping hot. Onion bhajis were crisp and not soggy, onion salad was fresh and chips were not old and stale. Good size portions, fed two hungry people. Will be ordering from here in future.

My family and I had our new year meal at this restaurant , what a delightfull evening from start to finish. On arrival we were cheerfully greeted and ushered to our table and made to feel at home. From appetizer through starters and mains we were treated to a range of foods that greeted the taste buds with delight . Throughout the evening we were discreetly and pleasantly attended to. If you want a perfect evening dining experience , great food at a good price then this is the restaurant to frequent. This establishment is food only , so you have to bring your own bottles

The food was ok, Sag paneer good, just a very small portion, even though it was a side dish but the tarka daal was awful, like soup and bland. I wouldn’t order again. The naan bread wasn’t good either.

Overall poor Cut backs on portions and quality are obvious The keema Nan had very little mince or flavour The curry was ok but not anything to shout about Half a carton of mint with the Bahjis Appreciate that times are tight but Paying over £22 for a takeout for two should be better Won’t recommend or go back for a while

We've ordered from here for ages and this is the first time I was realy disappointed with my order. I understand the price hike due to the current economic state but for what we ordered absolutely wasn't worth 30 quid! Curry was realy bland chicken was dry the roti was tasteless and the one spiced popadom they sent (usually comes in a bag of 2) was burnt to a crip and folded in about 3 quarters. Realy disappointed with the whole thing realy

We had always used nafizas in the part, however our Sunday night curry was the worst that we'd both had ever. The nan was stale, the onion bajis were not freshly cooked. Really disappointing as the food is normally excellent.

Masala watery with no taste, chaat no taste and garlic nan had zero garlic on and think bread was a few days old. Onion bhaji so dry and hard was unable to eat.

Revised delivery time stated 8.15 to 8.35pm. Phoned at 8.33pm. Advised it would be 10 mins. Eventually got delivery at 8.50pm. A 2 hour wait time. Onion Bhaji were in a paper bag, so were cold. Sag paneer had only 3 pieces of cheese.

Best Indian restaurant in Low Fell! Always had to give Indian restaurants a miss because of a Peanut Allergy until I braved it and came here. Everything is made fresh, the food isn't dripping in grease. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too.

The food vas very bland chicken was chewy I wouldn’t order from here again as it was a waste of money the food went in the bin but the delivery was on time and the driver was pleasant.

Delivery was quick but order was disappointing. Sag Paneer only had 3/4 small pieces of paneer, keema naan had essentially no meat inside and was undercooked. Passanda was bizarre and actually fairly unpleasant. They came recommended so I don’t know if their chef was having a very off day, but I wouldn’t order from here again unfortunately.

Tandoori chicken starter £4 we got 4 small cubes of chicken and a tiny portion of sloppy onion. Beef Madras. 6 even smaller cubes of beef. If you are going to charge the same as everyone else and put tiny portions of meat in the dishes people with sense who dislike being ripped off will order from the other takeaways around you. No real complaints otherwise, the flavour was good. This is the second time this has happened BTW, we have given you the benefit of the doubt and again not enough meat.

Will not be ordering again. Tarka daal so watery, vegetables bad quality in the curry and sides and starters and paying extra £4 for king prawns in the curry to have barely any in is dissapointing

Normally great food. It's been a little while since ordering from here and I have to say very disappointed. I know food prices have gone up but only 4 cubes of chicken in the main. Which was very watery... Only 2 nits of potato in the side dish. Previously you got better portions.

We ordered three meals from Nafiza's and the quality was excellent. Ignore the 3* restaurant review - we only had the takeaway so I gave an average review for this as I could not omit it. This does not reflect badly on Nafiza's but on the JustEat website. The dishes themselves were spicier than comparative dishes elsewhere, so those with a sensitive palate may wish to bear this in mind; however, at no point was anything unbearably hot. I would order from here again
