Maddie (awesome pink hair) is beyond super friendly. Food by all the chefs, fresh, clean, tasty! Seriously no complaints! They are vigilant with food timings on the belt and attentive to customers! Super job guys!

The girl with the pink and black hair with fabulous eyeliner was lovely and friendly. She deserves all of the treats! Beef Teriyaki used to be good but is now a bit overwhelmingly sweet and not great quality :(

Me and my son are regulars at YO! Sushi Metro Centre for the bottomless belt on a Thursday night We always have a fab time and tonight was exceptional! Thank you to the amazing Chef Anna and her team for an amazing array of plates, some I’ve never seen before on a Thursday night! The food is amazing quality and all staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Special thanks to Maddie for looking after us tonight!

Went to Yo for the first time in a while. Lots of dishes available on the belt so only ordered one thing. All very tasty. Was served by Maddie who was lovely. Thank you Maddie :)

The chef, Anna, can’t be faulted. Every time I come, I’m treat to the best sushi I’ve ever had. The service is second to none and I can’t say a single bad word about Maddie and Madhura!

First time we've ever been to a Thaikhun restaurant but it won't be our last! We enjoyed all of the food we had, from the BBQ Chicken Wings and the Thai Fish Cakes, to the Stirfry and Pad Thai! Everything was excellent. We were told upon entering that there was a wait of about 30 minutes for food, but we definitely received our appetisers after about 15 minutes, and then mains about 20 minutes after those, so really not a long wait! Plus, even though they were admittedly short staffed, they kept coming over and checking that we were okay and apologised about the wait. Anyway, we'll be back! We can't wait!

There is a lady who usually serves us here, and she is phenomenal—unfortunately, I never caught her name. She’s the reason we started visiting again. Sadly, she wasn’t in tonight, and I genuinely wish we hadn’t come back. We ordered the bottomless belt and were seated at the end, so by the time the food made its way to us, there was hardly anything left to choose from—it was mostly gone by the time it reached us. There weren’t many hot items available either, like the katsu. We raised our concerns with the staff, but it felt like things went downhill from there. No drink refills were offered, and nothing else was done to address our issues. To make matters worse, just as we finally managed to get some decent items that weren’t just edamame beans, the man next to us vomited multiple times all over the floor and into a bin. At that point, we decided to leave. When we went to pay, the waitress—who was ringing up our bill—said "sorry" while laughing and even offered us another table, despite us saying we felt extremely nauseous from being near someone who had just thrown up. I had to be firm and explain that it wasn’t unreasonable to not want to eat in a restaurant where someone had just vomited at the table next to us. She then showed us the bill, and although we hesitated since we couldn’t even finish our meal, she eventually comped one of the bottomless belts. But honestly, it wasn’t worth it. I left feeling sick, and I’m not sure if it was the questionable salmon being served or just the overall experience of being around someone throwing up. Oh, and when the vomiting happened, the staff just stood there and did nothing—we had to move ourselves. Honestly, the lady who usually serves us seems to run the place, because every time I’ve been there without her, it’s been a disaster.

Cooking school is fabulous. Easy to follow, lovely chef and we got to eat Tom Yum and Pad Thai. Will definitely try to make it at home now. Can't recommend enough for a fab morning with friends.

A little slow getting seated due to dinner time rush and tables a bit small given plate size but the food was absolutely amazing, definitely a lot of taste per plate and we will be going back to try more 👍 service is very good without being over the top and staff all smiling which creates a nice friendly atmosphere

Haven't visited for a while last time I did everything was okay. This time the vibe was different. I met the new manager who came over twice to see if we were enjoying everything and if we needed anything to be more comfortable. Music was pumping good energy, almost the team were friendly. I had the Garlic and Black pepper was loverly. Food was wonderful, my friend loved the deco. The place had a great feel we enjoyed our visit and it's was packed

Visited around 5pm on Friday evening. Plenty of seats available around the bar and booths. Conveyer belt was full - lots of choice. Food was lovely and staff were kind and helpful. Would recommend.

Came for lunch on Friday and the food was great! But out server, Tanuja, was excellent...very attentive and answered any questioned we had.

Xmas Eve. Service useless. Girl more interested in chatting. She left the card reader at our booth for the entire duration of our visit. Didn’t come back once after first order. Had discount with free gyozas. Asked to take away. After 15 min gave up and left as they seemed more interested in packing up.

Rice was undercooked and dry. Can't get over the idea of eating sushi where the rice was that bad. Their supermarket sushi tasted better. It really tasted awful. Probably last time to eat there.

First visit for us and food was nice, service was good. Red Thai curry is mega spicy and Singapore noodles very tasty. Would return although not the cheapest but we couldn’t complain with the food or anything else.

Having been here for a few meals we decided to book for a party of 5 for my birthday. Used the online booking system and added that one of our party had celiac disease (severe gluten intolerance). Having arrived and been seated the ‘manager’ came over and basically told us he could not ensure cross contamination due to the small close environment of the kitchen and offered the member of our party nothing as far as a solution for a meal. We had booked as part of my birthday and had highlighted the allergy at the booking. No one thought to call us to tell us this. It was then too late to go elsewhere and so they had a bowl of vegan prawn crackers as we ate. The service was appalling and very little care given to diners. This was such a disappointment- in this day and age for a branded restaurant to not offer a safe gluten free option is disgraceful. Please have a think about how you can resolve this matter. It will be a long time before we go back there again - if at all!

Ive been going to Yo! Sushi in the metrocentre for over 10 years now, ive gotten to know the team very well, several team members have left, some have gotten married and had babies who are now approaching 6 years old, Jon has gone from being the head chef to the restaurant manager and he's doing an amazing job. The team provide an amazing service with a smile and always make you feel like a VIP. The food is better than some other Yo restaurants which can only be due to the care and pride the team put into their preparation. Whether you're popping in alone for a quick lunch, or going as a group for a special event the team will always look after you.

Great food, if you can get it a lot of the main menu foods weren't available and we waited while for the conveyor belt to be filled, there was very little on it when we arrived. The staff are always so lovely but there aren't enough of them. It seems they're way under staffed at the busiest times which just adds to the frustration for everyone.

Lovely food and great service by Pooh. Would highly recommend eating here. The service was fast and the servers were very friendly.

Always a great meal here and this time was no exception. Our server Pooh was attentive and speedy. All the food came out quickly and was scrumptious.

Dont like to give negative reviews as I'm involved in hospitality myself. However, hopefully the venue can use this to improve things. We ordered 5 small plates instead of 2 mains and 1 sticky rice. The rice was served still in a sealed microwave bag and all of the food had been deep fried to within an inch of its life. Inedible. Staff were nice and friendly though.

The worst yo sushi I've ever been to. The food is good it's everything else that's the issue. You can't use the yo sushi app to order, it's card only. The staff come up to you with a tablet for putting on your order. It seems really weird and so do the way the staff act

Got this sushi on Too Good To Go a while ago. Very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the sushi! Definitely worth getting the app for trying sushi at such a reasonable price.

Visited today and it was all so lovely! Haven’t been since pre-COVID so the colour coding grab was so much quicker! Service was lovely & chefs were asking if we were enjoying the food whilst preparing dishes! Will definitely be back :)

Been here a couple of times. The food has been inconsistent in both quality and time it takes to make, regardless of how busy/quiet it's been. The staff ignore you most of the time and it can take a lot of effort to get there attention. Tonight we queued along with some other people while just over half the seating was free. The staff looked over multiple times but ignored everyone waiting. Eventually we left to go to a different restaurant, as did the people behind us. We won't bother going back again.

My two friends and I, along with two one years olds, attempted to visit Thaikhun at Monday lunchtime. We were quickly seated, and drinks orders were taken swiftly; this is, however, the end of the positives. Ten minutes after our drinks orders were taken, we were told there was no chicken available, but there were some types of chicken? It was very unclear as to what was available. We asked for two more minutes to decide what we wanted instead, and ten minutes later, the waitress returned after being stared down. We placed our revised order (with the waitress being very confused when I ordered a pad Thai with no extra meat in it) and the waitress went to put the order in with the chefs. Ten more minutes later, the waitress returned to let us know that there were no fish goujons, which we had ordered for the children. We altered this order as well, however, ten further minutes later, she returned for a fourth and final time to tell us that there were no chips available. At this point, we had quite frankly had enough. We explained we would be leaving, and the waitress explained that their catering order was meant to come in at 12 and at 3 (this was approximately 12:45). We questioned why they had opened in the first place if they had such a limited menu, and also why this wasn’t communicated prior to us sitting down (or at least immediately upon sitting down). The waitress did not provide an explanation, and so we left. Additionally, the baby change facilities were unclean and installed too high on the wall for ease of use (I am 5’9 for context). A shame, as whenever we have been previously we have really enjoyed the food, but the lack of communication from staff regarding availability of food was an absolute shambles, and unfortunately, made for a very unpleasant experience.

We love going to this YO! Sushi however the last time we went was even better. The chef over heard us saying how good the food was, gave us 50% off the sushi we took off the belt. We were then given some sushi to take home for free as it was new and we said we wanted to try it but were too full to. The waiting staff were so nice and checked if everything was good. The staff went above and beyond on this visit

Food was great as usual as was the service. This is one of my favourite restaurants at the Metrocentre. Good variety of dishes and heat levels to suit everyone.

Just wanted to say this place is 5* Been in once before and it was amazing. Then today my 11 year old daughter was having her first shopping trip by herself with a friend. However they only had cash and u had to pay by card so the waitress paid for them ❤️ When I picked the girls up we went back to offer to pay but she refused and wanted to pay for the girls. Whilst I didn't get her name she will always be remembered. What a fabulous member of staff. Thank u so much for looking after the girls. X

Staff lovely from start to finish. Before we sat down, they explained what was not available. The menu is big enough for it not to be a problem. We were given options of where we would like to sit. Place was busy, food came within a reasonable time. Both our dishes were delicious, Singapore noodles and chicken katsu. Good portion sizes and price. Will definitely go back.

The first member of staff who steated myself and my friend I was with was lovely, was like pulling teeth trying to summon someone to pay the bill so I could leave though, I had to tell the staff member 4 time that myself and my friend were paying separately also which frustrated me to no end. His job is not hard, he qas polite though so that's a small saving grace. Staff kept bothering me while I was trying to eat and talk to my friend also, you don't have to ask 5 times if the food is okay, if I had an issue I would raise it appropriately. Food quality is massively down from the usual standard. Menu has more variety but quality should never be sacrificed for variety. Pricing has increased quite a bit since my last visit. It was frustrating to try and get a member of staff attention to order additional food, the pre pandemic method of having a button to summon a member of staff was much more efficient and less frustrating. Overall not the dining experience I was expecting but the katsu was alright and thats what I came for. My previous review from 2023 was rated 5 stars, for clarity. I would also like to add the refrigerated sushi I was served was not good, usually it is served fresh or reasonably fresh not pre prepared and thrown in the fridge.

As a tourist, it is super cool to sit here! The food is served on a moving lane, the taste is amazing. Everything is freshly made! I highly recommend taking the Ramune drink as well 🤩🤩🤩 Easily top favorite sushi in the area

Terrible. Waited 10 minutes to be seated despite tons of seats available. Finally got seated, no menus, no chop sticks, no soy sauce. Waited another 15 minutes to be offered a drink but ended up just giving up and leaving. Told the waitress we were leaving due to poor service and she didn’t even response. Don’t even bother.

Me and my friend waited 10 minutes to be sat down, while waiting none of the waiting staff (which we later found out were both new) attempted to even say how long the waiting time was etc. Ordered tap water as drink are overpriced. It comes warm. Food was bland. Service very slow. 3 tables left before even ordering as waited too long or because ran out of items on the menu. Kitchen staff having loud confrontation with waiting staff. It was overall a terrible experience. Why would you put 2 new staff members together without anyone with more experience alongside them? Won’t be back.

We got a delivery and didn’t receive the main course, ordered edamame warm - came cold. Tried calling but it didn’t give an option to speak to anyone and told us to leave a message however the mail box was full, probably from other complaints.

Dani provided great customer service throughout our meal. However, there were many items missing from the menu and the music was a little bit too loud.

Visited at about 7pm on a Friday night, only one waitress who was talking for 5 min as we waited to be seated, running around when we finally got seated and ignored us waiting to be asked if we wanted a drink. Waited 10 minutes and ended up paying for the 3 dishes we grabbed off the belt and left. Ruined our experience and wasted our time. Don't think we will return to this yo sushi or any other

I can't believe my daughter and I got refused coming in for a meal because we are celiac. Is this how to treat people based on what we can eat. Do you do the same with vegans or people with diary intolerance so. You should be ashamed, dreadful way to treat people.

£6.25 for a small beer, miso soup was water with spring onions. We had one dish of sushi which was both expensive and average. This business model is tired and frankly not anywhere near the quality v cost.. Will not be back

Popped in after some late shopping and our server Rob was absolutley spot on. Super friendly and welcoming nothing too much trouble and gave recommendations and suggestions on some food and drink options. Very tentative super happy. As for the food, been here a few times now, always spot on if you like this sort of thing. Food arrived quick, was hot and tasty 5/5.

The reason I am giving 3 stars is Thanuja. She made my day at this place. The service she provides is exceptional and the positive atmosphere made me leave with smile even though the food was quite bad, everything was reheated and nothing felt fresh. I came for the ramen, but it turned out is not available as half of the menu that day. On top of that the glass was really dirty with stains all over. Overall, Thanuja made me believe that I could visit this place again !

The place should called ‘No Sushi’ … All the stars go to the lovely lady that attended to us before we saw the sign stating about TEN of the options were not in stock. 12 mile journey each way to then have to eat at home 😭

Firstly the main reason why I’m leaving this review is because of Tanuja. I’ve not experienced this level of service in a long time, she is the most kind, helpful and thorough waitress. This girl deserves a pay rise and promotion! Food was amazing value and tasty, we got the evening 2 course and drink deal for £12.95! I wish all restaurant experiences were like this. Thankyou, will definitely be returning!

Had to give one star as it won't let you give none, we used to love going here for a treat everything was brilliant, but since COVID and after it's gone right down the drain, me and my daughter went too give it another go it was a Monday as they used to do blue plate Mondays but we couldn't see any advertising for it, so we decided to wait and ask there seemed to be only one person working who kept walking past us and didn't even acknowledge that we were there we waited for 15 minutes but gave up as we were still ignored, so I would advise people to give it a very wide berth we definitely not be back.

It was valentine's day so I booked a table for two at the Thai restaurant of my choice I've used two or three times per year...i asked for a table inside the restaurant within the booking process when pre booking as I didn't want people looking at our food in the outside tables area. Our table was just within the restaurant from the outside tables area. I wanted that Thai authentic feeling where I was surrounded by old Thai signage, tools and pictures not of Five Guys and people walking past glancing in. The partners choice was unavailable. My portion size seemed a bit smaller than last time I got this dish. I didn't really enjoy our visit at all. I didn't want to make any complaint or asked to be moved since it was our Valentine's meal. I thought by leaving no generous tip that it was justified. This was my poorest visit out of many excellent visits. On a plus...having been to Thailand 25 plus times visiting my work colleague the food tastes exactly the same as it does in Thailand....just 3 or 4 times the price.

Set amongst an array of rubbish chain restaurants, Thaikhun is always our go-to restaurant when we visit the Metro Centre. Although they do have more than one location, the food never feels like the generic pre-packed chain restaurants. We visit this restaurant at least once a month and the food is always lovely.

We had sharing option- ample portions and enjoyable food. Beef was succulent. Plenty of chicken in meals. Nicely themed restaurant and friendly staff.

Service is slow, they take forever to sit you down, then barely check up on you, and finally takes even longer for them to take payment. Also they add a service charge of 7.5% without any prior mention of it or any mention of it at the time of payment. They just show you the order and say is this all correct and then when you get your receipt emailed it shows they’ve taken the service charge which is quite sneaky

Food was very tasty. Service was on point and didn’t break the bank. All in all, a great place to eat.

Very average service. Typical chain resturant style interior. Bland food. Got the order wrong, didn’t handle it well. It’s just a very basic shopping centre resturant. Won’t be going again. It’s not cheap either !
