The best takeaway in the north east!!! Great service and the food quality is amazing. The staff are always friendly!

Have been coming to this curry house since we stopped going to ocean road in south shields some 10+ years ago. Never had a bad curry, and like others would not dream of going else where. Don't deliver but don't need to,I'm happy to travel to them Bob

Simply wouldn’t go anywhere else. They don’t deliver but we’d travel 100 miles for one of their curries. Down right the best :)

Never let me down! They always cook from fresh they dont deliver but they dont have to you go to them for quality!

Ordered meal for six people for less than £40, pity they don’t deliver. Onion bhajis are massive and look like fat bergs but thankfully taste better. Tandoori chicken tikka very red and watery but tasty. Pilau rice good, as are poppadoms and naan. Good takeaway food

We have been going to this take away for a number of years . The food is always high quality , piping hot and tasty. The food is of restaurant quality . Fabulous well done .

We've been going to the Moti-Jheel for years now...Joe recognises my fiancee's voice over the phone and knows our order off by heart! I've had a fair view dishes, all of which are delicious, but the chicken dansak is our favourite and has become the usual! I've had other Indian takeaways but none come close to the Moti-Jheel!

This Indian restaurant is in my opinion the best around the area. I've gone here for years and the food has always been the same quality. I have tried numerous other Indian restaurants in the area and they are never quite as tasty and authentic. I recommend the onion bhajis the keemanans and jalfrezi which have been the dishes I've always gone back to in here. If you love an indian dish try here

I have ordered from here numerous times over the last four years, not really ever been dissapointed but at the same time my expectations were not exceeded either and I don`t mean that diss-respectfully. Flavours were good but just that. Having said that, too many Vindaloos and chillis may of burnt off all my taste buds, eh ?!

I grew up in this village and never touched a curry untill i hit 17. This where i broke my curry vaginity so i could be a little bit swung, however i still travel the 20miles (On occasion) to collect and enjoy a curry from this takeaway. Always fresh, always tasty and the service is always delivered with a smile. They still remember my name from almost 15 Years ago, now thats service. The food is hard to beat, You know a good curry house when the food is spicy like it should be rather than some that try to tame it down to cater for us soft english folk. Bang On!!

only had take away from here but omg magnificent food, not greasy, so dam tasty its unbelievable and the prices are brillinat, friendlt staff, and a warm atmosphere while waiting, what more can you ask for

Great food and good value, but please do not be in a hurry! Pointless putting in a telephone order as you will still be waiting for around 30 mins after you arrive, time and time again, best take a book and some knitting! Worth the wait though.
