The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

We ordered a £30 takeaway. Never delivered to our food. Resulting in 1 hour 45 chasing food. The reception from takeaway was very rude and abrupt. In conversation, we guessed the food had been delivered to a neighbour. Finally got hold of our food from neighbour, which was now cold and had been opened. The restaurant was not at all bothered. Rather than an apology or dealing with the issue or refund. We received “I’m too busy to deal with this” and put the phone down on us.

My Fiancé and I started coming here 2 yrs ago, and ever since, we’ve never been disappointed! Staff are amazing and welcoming, the chef always makes the effort to come out and have a chat which means a lot to us! Food is always fresh and delicious, served on hot plates . Visited with 8 family members today. Really poor service and honestly below average food. Argumentative and uninterested staff. Poor management. Was really looking forward to it and came from really far and we all left extremely disappointed. Not cheap either and will definitely not return.

This is our local Indian and it’s recently under new management. The food is lovely and great value for money however the service we received wasn’t great, especially when they add on a non-discretionary 12% service charge! Would I return? - yes for the food but would definitely challenge the service charge next time!

Nice food but lesson learned, always have a itemised bill when eating there. We paid £82 for 4 meals, 3 nans and 4 coffees ( cold drinks were purchased separately on arrival) I emailed the owner to ask if he could check the bill, because I felt that the restaurant prices on the menu did not match the bill. I never got a reply until 3 days later when I phoned the restaurant up to try to get a answer to the email I had sent to ask for clarification on the price for each item. I was told there were cold drinks/ mixers on the bill, which we did not order or consume. I asked again for them to check the prices and get back to me. After contacting me back twice via email, once to ask for the payment method and the other to say they would look in to it, I have heard absolutely nothing since. The service was terrible on that night too.

Tengo que decir que esta fue la mejor noche que he tenido en mucho tiempo. ¡Qué divertido! Servicio 5 * El equipo era genial, mi hija y yo llegamos tarde ya que no somos de Londres y medimos el tiempo mal. El equipo era impresionante nos llevó también nuestra mesa nos dijo que no nos preocupemos. Comida encantadora La comida era muy agradable, pequeños platos de alas, pequeñas hamburguesas solo para tener mientras tomamos una lista de bebidas con la música. Estupendo. Música 10 * Wow la banda que estaba en eran tan buenos mi hija y yo bailamos toda la noche ella estaba tocando cantando hip hope, garaje todo con una banda completa Recomiendo 100%

Impressive looking,welcoming staff,live music ,Buskers etc most nights of the week.Reasonably priced drinks and great location.Give it a try the new owners are turning it around

Burnt poppadoms, really bad service and the chilli garlic chicken and the jalfrazi were not of a good standard, we love curry but this place is to be avoided

Delicious, delicious, delicious. Went with family and the staff are super lovely, they only had the Indian menu when eating in at the moment (COVID). But they said they would be incorporating their Chinese menu back (I don’t particularly like Chinese, but love their take on it!

Always been a fan for the authentic Vietnamese / Chinese cuisine until now when they started to charge 25p for chilli sauce. It is not the cost I take issue with but more the fact that the authenticity of the food is somewhat lost without the natural, complementary chilli. Disappointing.

Ive ordered from almost every Indian around the Crosby/Waterloo area, and i have to say, my first order tonight from Arong was just the best. Taste, consistancy, freshness. The best ive had in a long long time. It was steaming hot still when i got it home, and bread was top notch also. Delicious! This is my new place to go from now on. No need to look any further. A very clean & tidy place but they got our order wrong, kids had to wait for food. Our peri peri burgers had no salad & were bland. So disappointing
