Food was nice d a quid on my bill when i collected but I must admit the food was nice a bit tight on the rice portion

I have had food poisoning since I had a curry from there at the weekend. The chicken had a funny texture and some was over cooked. Normally the food is nice there, but over the last few weeks the standard has not been the same.

First time I used this place the food was excellent , next few times mediocre to bad . Will be trying once more restricted to the weekend in the hope the main chef will be working . The mid week heat it up and send it out kitchen worker has destroyed any confidence in ordering a decent meal . Will report back soon

I have used this place for many years and its been good. However since they have changed to ro a restaurant, they have droppws their standards. The mince was too gristley, cheap ingredients!!!!! I raised this with the restraunt and they said it might be down to their supplier?

We've just ordered from here.. I had the chicken tikka makhani, sauce was a weird cream colour!? Not the tomato based sauce I was expecting! Naan was burnt not sure I'd order from here again..

we always use this Indian, because its so popular it can take a while to come, but whe it does boy its really Good, large chunks of meat yummy sauce, everything is lovely full of flavours, also they have just opened one in Woolston, defo worth a try

Worst food. Took 2 hours to arrive. It was cold, I mean frozen had to nuke it in the microwave. Ordered a Pathia, it was disgusting had three pieces of cubes chicken in and about 3 tablespoons of sauce. (Wouldn’t have even classed it as a child’s portion) phoned up to complain got shouted at by the person on the other end. The person the phone was extremely aggressive! Refused to send out another curry, kept coming up with excuses. In the end I gave up, chucked all the food away it was that horrific I didn’t mind wasting the £30 and ordered elsewhere. Just avoid this place, terrible customer service, vile food and a stupidity long wait. If I could give it worse than ‘terrible’ I would.

Food arrived 90 minutes late phoned restaurant after an hour and was told order was on it's way 30mins later it arrived cold and poor quality food this is the first and last time I use this place.

We love Shah Faisal. It is our go - to takeaway for Indian food. The food tastes amazing and the prices are unbeatable!

A very consistent takeaway. Fair prices. I will use this place as long as its there. I know the staff work very hard to provide delicious food to a very large amount of customers. Thank you Shah Faisal.

Ordered a takeaway delivery last night. Was told 45 mins , arrived on time and hot. Very reasonably priced and tasty curries👍

I highly recommend this take away as the food is very good and the staff are always very polite and friendly.

If you want a cheap but half decent curry,this is great. Decent size portions and well cooked,I have not seen anywhere cheaper.Lots of people moaning about delivery times,it can't be easy to keep up with the demand,I am happy to collect .

Ordered about 7pm given a hour for it to be ready. Turned up at 9pm with no apology - rang the place and he said that he would sort me out next time.

Puse mi orden y llamado y me dijeron 30 minutos a 45 minutos para la entrega. Llegó a la hora indicada. Teníamos órgano cordero josh, cordero y arroz pilau patia, pan naan. Tengo que decir que era absolutamente preciosa. Sin duda. 😊

Utiliza este lugar un par de veces, siempre tarde para entregar al menos media hora más de la horario de entrega.

We waited 45 minutes after the delivery time, after numerous calls and not much in a response it really ruined our Saturday night in. However once the said takeaway did arrive the food was amazing. Such a shame. Sometimes a sorry and explanation is all it takes to keep a customer. I hope you learn from this.

Been looking for a great Indian since Eastern Nights changed owners(advice don't go to eastern nights staff and owner very rude and bad food)Had a menu posted through my door from Shah Faisal and thought I would try them, wow easy order and delivered with in 30 mins the food was so so good, will be back as been looking for a fantastic take away for ages, thank you

I used to come here all the time,but have stayed away for the last few years owing to branching out with new eateries.They have just refurbished the place as it was looking tired,and are now on that 'Just Eat' thingy.The quality was good,and it is still one of the cheapest anywhere.Fascinating to watch them while I waited,the place was rammed with people waiting/phone orders {Saturday evening},good banter with the helpful old chap and the staff surviving through the night.Will be back soon.

The bits of chicken r massive an the tikka balti is super nice I wouldn't go anywhere else now an I consider myself a bit of a curry conasir try it it's the bomb digidy it used to be bit scruffy but they have done the place up nice as well

Ordered a meal tonight for home delivery....arrived in the time they said✔2 items missing❌ but what most upset me was the delivery driver tried ripping me off 25p!!! Told it would be £19 something he charged £20!❌❌❌bang went his tip!!! Rang the shop manager came out with missing items,thank you✔ if you order home delivery be sure of amount before parting with your money! apologies given by owner but if he done this to everyone it'sno better than theft!❌ but I did enjoy the meal in the end!

Nice food,well cooked and great value.They have just revamped the place and and fair play to them it is great.Very busy as well,they will be if they offer this food at this price.place and fair play to them it

Will never use this restaurant again. Ordered food for myself and 2 others who consequentially all got food poisoning. Please avoid and keep yourselves healthy

After a family member being upset i chose to go and visit and cheer her up with a curry. so we ordered from shah faisal and it was quick to deliever. we noticed it was rather watery but didnt think anything more to it. the next day we felt really drained and tired. it was only 3 of us that ate from this place and later that evening we all starting getting extremely ill. it was definately this curry as we had previously and after ate in seperate homes. for all of us to still be feeling extremely ill. unable to keep in fluids and unable to do anything. we havent been this ill in a long time. nausea, extreme chills and fever, diarrhea and extreme stomach pains. i posted a comment on a social media site and a friend in the local area asked if i had got food poisoning from this place. i had not told anyone the name of the place previously. when i told him that it was this curry place, he explained that he had food poisoning and a few others he ate with two weeks prior to my food poisoning. i want to warn people as i really dont want anyone else to go through the pain and agony that we have gone through. please avoid! i have reported this to evironmental saftey too.

Basic Indian takeaway but friendly service, good food, and very cheap! Not much else to say really. Delivery service available too.

I've been using this establishment some time but my last three orders have taken over 2 hours and not been particularly hot, very disappointing :-(

Despite the claims from the gentleman working there, the food was not top class and the place is in need of modernising. We had food for 4 and nobody was happy with theirs, it was watery and the chicken didn't look appetising. Overall, I cannot recommend.

I really enjoy their food, its always really tasty. I find that their food is often a tiny bit sweeter than other takeaways which really sets them apart. To conclude, there are at least 2 Indian takeaways closer to my house, and a really good reason why I drive right past them to get to the Shah!

Unfortunately we never got to try our food. We rang and ordered and were told 45 mins to 1 hour. Over an hour later we call and ask where the food is, they say it's just leaving. Fine. Two hours later no food. We call and complain, we are offered no discount or much of an apology "do you want the food or not" was the attitude we got from the person on the phone who clearly didn't give a damn that we had guests and children waiting to eat. Finally the food arrived, we were all so annoyed by then by the the disgusting attitude and the measly discount eventually offered that we told them to take there food and we ordered from dominos. WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER. POOR CUSTOMER CARE. AVOID.

Love the food. Great value for money. Decent portions friendly staff and friendly delivery drivers. It makes me laugh when. Order on the phone as the man says "yes please..." After everything you order. I recommend to all!

1st attempt ordered at 7 cold muck turns up after numerous calls at 10.15 . 2nd attempt asked for mild and they send extra hot. They said they would swap if they could have hot one bk . Then i get cocconut filled sugury tin of dog puke.after complaining was told bring it back for a refund no curry no money and they dont need customers like me . Pay the extra and go to a real curry house . These jokers are a disgrace .

we have had take away from here and it was very nice and good value for money.its a 5 min walk from our home so very convenient. the staff are very friendly.

Alway delicious !!!! : ))) the best value for money in the area, we use this takeaway every weekend. Great customer service too. Only tip get rid of the overpriced delivery charges !!! Or maybe not cause we would have more... Thanks guys

I have used Shah Faisal many times over many years. The food is amongst the best - this is probably the best and cheapest Indian takeaway in Southampton. Delivery always takes 45 minutes to an hour and the delivery drivers are always polite and chatty. The food is usually hot when it arrives and they have only got the order wrong a couple of times in hundreds of deliveries.

We order from here regularly and it's as good as any restaurant, fast delivery, lots of meat and great taste.

Get my weekly curry fix here, nice quality,polite staff and great value.Gets busy on the weekends so there can be a bit of a wait,but worth waiting for!

Very cheap. But they best tasting indian takeaway I have ever had!
