Bab N Suul in City of London, Westminster

Muy agobiado. Tenemos una mesa de parrilla para cocinar nuestra propia carne. Empezamos a ubicar la carne y el servidor vino y se hizo cargo. La carne no estaba condimentada. Traían platos y salsas, pero apenas usaban ninguno. No explicaron cuánto tiempo o si movíamos o no la carne en la parrilla, pero por lo general cuando íbamos, el servidor venía y se hacía cargo de nuevo. Hemos estado en restaurantes similares y sabemos cocinar, pero parecía que no se suponía que lo hiciéramos. Olvidaron traer las gambas hasta que se lo pidieron. El servicio era muy atento a veces y luego faltaba en otras ocasiones. Al final, el recibo también incluía una "graduación discrecional" de alrededor del 18 %, que dice que el 100 % se destina al personal. ¿Quizás por eso vinieron a cocinar, para poder obtener la gratificación? Al final nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados, no llenos, y deseando haber tenido el dinero para hacer el buffet de Chinatown en lugar de gastar más de 100 libras aquí. Me sentí agobiante y caro y no muy bien la experiencia que habíamos esperado para ser justos vi otras mesas que parecían tener sus propias parrillas. Estábamos sentados arriba en una zona mayormente vacía y tal vez el más ocupado abajo tendría un mejor ambiente.

Los comensales coreanos inexpertos aquí se decidieron por arroz frito de gambas y un plato de gambas reales que comienza con JJ (parece que hay muchos de estos). El segundo plato fue mejor que el primero. El servicio era bastante bueno teniendo en cuenta que era un sábado por la noche. La música es alta y moderna y muchos de los clientes jóvenes y aparentemente acomodados.

Comida increíble. Gran servicio. Un poco caro, pero es Londres. Teníamos el plato de carne mixta. Muy bien. Sus alas son increíbles

La comida es genial y auténtica. Puede tener la experiencia de la barbacoa coreana o pedir desde el menú. Elegimos del menú. Hay una selección limitada si eres vegano o vegetariano y el olor a carne de barbacoa puede desanimar a la gente, pero para nosotros era la música alta (nosotros en cuanto al volumen a ser bajado, pero nuestra petición fue ignorada) y el hecho de que la alarma de incendios seguía sonando porque el humo de toda la barbacoa por lo que no es fácil tener una conversación, pero teniendo en cuenta que el lugar estaba lleno el personal se las arregló para darnos un gran servicio. Qué vergüenza lo del baño de la mujer, el espejo estaba roto y el dispensador de toallas de papel estaba vacío en el momento de mi visita.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos Londres ayer y pensamos que nos daríamos un capricho con una buena cena, gastamos más de £ 100 en barbacoa coreana que era dolorosamente promedio y un par de bebidas (sin ningún acompañamiento incluido en este precio) , esto no sería normalmente el fin del mundo sin embargo, el camarero fue extremadamente grosero cuando estábamos pidiendo nuestra comida que empapó el ánimo al principio y luego unas horas después de salir del restaurante la comida estaba sentado extrañamente en mi estómago y yo estaba muy enfermo para el resto de la noche. No soy de los que escribe malas críticas y tal vez solo tuvimos una mala experiencia, pero no volveremos y sugeriríamos ir a otro lugar.

The food is amazing and great. Had the barbeque with my friends and it was grilled right in front of us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would come back for sure.😋🤤

Ordered the Set menu for 2, turned up with 2 set menu's. Tried to send the food back but they claimed that once it had been cut it was our problem. Overpriced even before the mix up, servers were helpfule with the prep but overall left feeling ripped off.

The food tasteless and underseasoned. Inside, there was a lot of smoke from the grill and it was cold because the door was wide open. The menu had a mysterious price list. The prices were too high for the quality of the dishes and the service. Only ginger tea and cola tasted... Expensive! A plus for interesting decor and a clean toilet. I don't recommend it. The children were curious because they like K-pop, but the KFC chicken doesn't encourage me to come back. I paid in cash, I had a high denomination. They wanted to cheat me by giving me change. There was no, sorry...

Went here with some friends. The food was okay but I felt like it was very average compared to other places. Some dishes I didn’t touch at all because they tasted bad. I felt the food was a bit more oily too. the next morning I was unwell. Spoke to my friends and turns out all six of us were unwell either the night we went or the morning after. So I wouldn’t recommend or return

Service was dreadful. Not attentive at all. Tried to ask for water 4 times before they noticed. When I asked, they said they'll go and get their colleague (?!?). When cooking the food on the table, just a bunch of sighs from the cook. Such a shame as the food was lovely, but a bit on the pricey side. There are better places in London, such as Kintan/Sanjugo if you want similar bbq cuisine.

We found this place due to luck. Located in “China town”, facilities good. Service friendly, accurate and quick. The food was really good. Can recommend a visit and have some friend chicken wings.

Chill place with many choices: (Seafood, halal or vegeterian choices) The place was spacious and the staff was really kind and helpful.

We were looking for somewhere for lunch and found Bab N Suul. We’ve tried making Korean food at home and were both keen to try a Korean Restaurant. It quite busy, with a steady stream of customers coming in which is usually a good sign. I had the chicken Bibimbab and it was incredible. It was laid out very neatly and looked amazing. It came in a traditional dolsot bowl which made some of the rice lovely and crispy. My husband had the Dak Galbi BBQ which was also delicious, spicy but not too hot. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Food taste just average. Price is not reasonable. The ambiance is just alright. There are other Korean restaurant within the area the staff here are unfriendly. Btw your jacket will smell if the customer next to you is cooking kbbq.

Good food 🍱 yummy Korean food there is the most favorite of my place I was there with my friends dying new years yes not bad but place very busy If anyone try Korean food reality please come there

Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de la cuisine coréenne, mais je me suis régalé ! Les plats sont très copieux et très très bons. J'ai envie de dire qu'on y retrouve les saveurs de la Corée mais je n'y jamais mis les pieds.. Côté service , efficace et souriant, on en demande pas plus. Bref ce n'est pas un attrape touristes comme on en trouve tout autour. Cette adresse est bonne je la conseille fortement et j'y retournerai sans aucune hésitation lors de mes prochains séjours à Londres.

the customer service is horrible. the waiter got our order wrong and have the audacity to come up to us and literally start an argument with us. we are half way eating and he tell us u guys order this u have to pay for it. we are still eating bro and we want or right order.

Not sure if you can give zero stars, so I have given 1. Bab n suul have just ruined my daughters 18th birthday by, with no explantion, cancelling the booking she made (three days ago) 2 hrs ago - that is 3 hours before her 14 guests were due to arrive. They are not picking up the phone or returning my calls. They have ruined her evening and the evenings of 13 other 18 years old girls. I am one disappointed dad right now and my daughter is in tears.

I went for dinner last night with my girlfriend and a couple of friends visiting from abroad. The food was good, EXCEPT for the Beef BBQ option which is priced at £77 and is REALLY not worth it. The first steak served from that was great, no denying, but that was two bites each and the rest was just no worth the price tag. Our bill came to £200 so an absolute rip-off for what you get. The desserts (mochi) were very tasty but super small and expensive as well. Another issue is the lack of attention from the servers. After waiting for a very long time we had to track someone down to place our orders, after which they food came quite quickly and all at once, which is fine, but then the waiting staff did another vanishing act, and when you try to get their attention, they will literally stare into the ground as they walk to avoid your gaze. Towards the end of our meal, a table had been set up just next to us for staff meal, and of course, as a hospitality professional with two decades of experience it fills me with joy to see the floor staff having good food for their hard work, however this further decreased the possibility of getting anyone's attention for anything at all. * We had to track someone down for water * We had to wave our hands in the air like maniacs to ask for the bill * We had to ask if we could pay the bill so we could leave, and so on.. THEN I went to the loo, heard a flush from the cubicle and witnessed a staff member in full uniform (who had been bringing us items of food) straight up leave the toilet without washing his hands, and this is utterly unacceptable. I then watched this same staff member (a male waiter) leave the toilet and walk up to a table of guests and start handling plates on their table. Honestly, the experience was worse than bad at this point, and not worth the £200+ price tag. British customs have dictated for a while now that we make no fuss about these things, and perhaps a change is needed, because having paid and left without mentioning any of this on the day (no manager in sight anyway) I now feel partially robbed of my money, as some of the food was quite good. So props to the chefs, but the management and training are a big let down. AVOID! There are many better Korean places in London, and I mean MANY, do not waste your money in this place.

The food was mediocre at best and expensive for what you got. We wanted the boneless fried chicken but that was unavailable and we felt that they were only really interested in pushing the tabletop bbq. It wouldn’t have been a terrible experience but then my sister went to the toilet and a mouse ran across her path! I went to the loo after her and I saw the mouse as well (or maybe a different mouse - I can’t imagine there was only one). We left pretty quickly!

We visited for lunch a family of four. On entering, we were asked if we would like the bbq menu or regular menu without seeing either menu. We chose a regular menu to look at and ordered our food and drinks. After waiting 20 minutes, the waiter told us that none of the Korean fried chicken dishes were available. After another 30 minutes, our remaining two dishes arrived. We were in a rush so had to leave, and for a total waiting time of 50 minutes, we were charged £60 for two dishes and four drinks. It was only after I strongly complained that the waiter took off the cost of the drinks. He explained there had been a problem in the kitchen, but we were not informed of this at all otherwise we would have gone elsewhere. I can provide some comments to the management if they wish to improve upon the choices for customers, the service, cost, and general customer experience. However I would never return.

We should have known better than to go into this restaurant - it was fairly empty in half-term week while other restaurants were full of people, some with mostly Asian diners. The food here was mediocre: even worse my 15-year-old daughter's food was so spicy we thought she was going to have a health incident. Tears were streaming down her face, she could barely breathe, and she ended up leaving most of her food. We were offered no solution (yoghurt or coconut milk to cool down the food) or an alternative dish. We were offered a drink for my daughter - which was then added to the bill. While the table service was polite, there was no gesture of good will from any of the staff. Instead, two staff at the bar were clearly making rude comments about us when we had been perfectly pleasant to them throughout. I will not be going here again. This expensive lunch was a waste of money.

Great authentic Korean BBQ. Exquisite chicken wings. Good selection on the menu. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great place especially if you want to see a few K pop singers.

First time at BNS for Korean BBQ. The menu is extensive and we’re not very experienced with Korean BBQ, so we chose a fixed menu option. The food and drink was served promptly and all the servers were very polite and friendly. We found out later that it was the owner who came to cook our food at the table. He was really friendly and gave suggestions of what to have with what and the best sauces to accompany them. (There were about 4 or 5 different delicious sauces!) A great experience; we’ll definitely be back!

Visited tonight and enjoyed the bbq set meal!! Son loved what I felt were the 2 owners (man and woman) helped and guided us the other staff seemed tired and had a long day

This is my second time at Bab n Suul. Food was fantastic, came really quickly! Korean fried chicken 10/10. Ordered other items such as chicken dumplings, prawn tempura and egg rice. Was so full up after! Staff was very good and attentive. Atmosphere 8/10 Highly recommended and a gem in China Town.

Second time visiting here and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Food was served quickly and was delicious. I really like the atmosphere and the vibe of this place, would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We were here two times in 5 days trip to london. We had lovely time and delicious dinner and lunch. The kid loved the fride chicken and we enjoyed the noodles.
