First class meal on Saturday. Sharing charcuterie board, sharing steak and ice cream nice beer and wine. A real nice evening out with delicious steak cooked to our liking in a real unpretentious restaurant

An utterly joyless experience for all involved. Ignored on arrival by the front of house while the barman in the distance smiled almost in embarrassment as were eventually asked “have you got a reservation”? By a somewhat put out welcoming party The food was mean and expensive. We had bone marrow which was unseasoned and served with cold toast and the chicken parfait was stingy and underwhelming. The steaks were of varying quality, mine was ok, my wife’s was a bad cut poorly cooked, served by staff that looked like they really didn’t want to be there. A joyless meal served up by a joyless restaurant. Perhaps the owners should put this one out of its misery in similar fashion to the last, it might cheer everyone up.

We were just out of the normal dining area which was good because it was fully booked. We had 4 excellent roast dinners with good and efficient service and good value, Will go back to try the normal week day menu , Regards JF

Great pancakes, great goats, slightly weird but in a good way

The sop was closing as I placed my order because of a mistake on just eats hours and the manager cooked the food him self after hours and delivered straight to my gold star service. The food was delicious and cooked well and their cake is amazing

Popped in during a visit to St Ives on Monday morning. The food was good and the coffee was amazing. Place is well set out.
