The best restaurants serving American food in South East

Writing this review as conveniently they don't allow reviews of the food on uber eat app. They used to bevgood however the last 2 times we ordered (wagyu Phillips cheesesteak), they basically filled it with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered with minimal cheese in the bread. It never used to be like thus but has gone downhill. We essentially paid for a brioche bun filled with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered which I only knew because I looked inside but you can't taste

Never disappointed every time I pick up a panini on my lunch break! Chicken Mayo is my go to - always amazing

Stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast roll of bacon and egg. The banging Bass music made me feel glad that I didn’t have a hangover. The coffee was great 10/10 The Bacon and Egg roll not so much, the bacon was microwaved to within an inch of its life and was inedible, making me remove it altogether and make do with an egg roll. The staff all seemed like they were asleep or couldn’t be arsed (not sure which)

Fresh and tasty food, excellent service, nice atmosphere:) free car parking, WC.

Probably the best venue in the area early evening Friday - you could talk. Not too busy. Bit of background music but sitting outside at the back an enjoyable evening- not the cheapest drinks but still worth a visit. Toilets closer ( only just) than your average Spoons.

we came for bottomless brunch and it was absolutely amazing!! service was top notch very quick to refill our drinks. food was gorgeous, i went for the boss benedict’s which was yummy

We love Stakks pancake house for a family brunch. You have the choice of American style pancakes or crepes. They have sweet and savoury and a specials board. Delicious. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again.

We were heartbroken to see this place closed, hands down the best burgers and dirty fries in town...

Booked to have dinner at The Herd for my husband’s 50th birthday. It was the first time that we have been to The Herd and were very impressed with the food. Gigi performs her magic, by cooking your steak in eye-shot. We asked for our chateaubriand to be medium-rare and it was perfect, which does not always happen in some places. Was well worth the visit and will definitely be back. The only negative, was that the room was a bit chilly when we arrived.

Great place to bring friends and family for any occasion! Has a very lovely spot not too far to the main road but has a very homey and lovely vibe. Staff are very pleasant and makes you feel welcomed! Daisy has been a pleasure and gives great advices on what to choose from the menu. Will definitely visit again.
