The best restaurants serving American food in Westgate Newcastle upon Tyne North East

I'm writing this food review on behalf of our four year old: "5 golden stars for the bread and for the flavours. And 5 golden stars for this little bit of hash brown. Mmm." (She gave the review while eating) So there you go, need I say more 😂🙌

Kamika was a Fantastic server. Our drinks were constantly topped up and she was really knowledgeable about the menu! Super lovely and all round stunning vibes x

Tucked away under the arches near Central station, very modern and spartan decor, a bright and airy space to enjoy a coffee and a cake in the afternoon sun.

Absolutely amazing food. We both got the all in meal deal and it was worth every penny. The parmesan truffle fries are to die for, the burgers are juicy and the chicken tenders are exactly that tender, if they had one in Hull where we live I would go at every opportunity.

Good range of stalls and products including fresh Indian snacks, beers, coffee, fresh goods and the Gordie Sausage Company.

I love the staff here so much ❤️ Try the BBQ chicken bao and spicy chicken house bowl! California salmon is the best seller for a reason! The hot Chicken with Thai Coconut Curry over noodles will always be a personal favorite. 🍜 I would stay away from the banana bread though! They are just addicting and one is never enough! 🤭 Hope they would open a store in Manchester soon! 🫶🏽🦋 PS! Wish they would serve coffee 😜

One of the good pub/club in Newcastle upon Tyne. Located in the centre of the city. Easily accessible and a good atmosphere.

Another great visit. We had booked and it was busy - 4pm Saturday. Lovely helpful waiter. We had prawn cocktail & oysters to start. Both great. Loads of prawns in cocktail. Really fresh oysters. Shared big cut porterhouse for mains. Chips and salad included. Shared a delicious marrow bone gravy too. Steak was perfect. We ordered medium rare or as chef advised and it was slightly more towards medium. The rump side had perfectly rendered fat. Sirloin melted in the mouth. It’s an expensive meal but top quality food,service & wines.

High quality food. Had the California Burger. Really good, perfect size without being too much of a handful. Chips are triple cooked and taste great. A nice selection of beers as well behind the bar.

Bar staff were a disgrace they can’t take banter one of the girls on Saturday her attitude stunk

It was my favourite place in the past but it’s getting less inviting every time I go there. Some staff borderline rude. Drinks very expensive. Shame

Service great, breakfast delicious.

Great for wings and other food. Me and my mates came in on a Friday and enjoyed 50p wings with a drink. Good atmosphere and a good choice of beers.... Wingman/ Blue moon etc. will be going again

Food was average, took longer than would expect to get the food. Not sure I’d rush back, and there is plenty of options in the immediate vicinity too.

Does not taste like food, tastes like soft plastic. I got a kinder bueno crepe and the crepe tasted what I'd imagine an elastic band tastes like. The kinder beuno was stale believe it or not, even though I'm certain they usually have a year + expiry. The lights and decor is offensive, buy a bar of chocolate in the shop instead.
