The best restaurants serving American food in County Durham North East

Called in off chance for Sunday lunch today, we were shown to a big table booth (not many people in the restaurant at all) we were told we were allocated a waiter (can’t remember her name) she asked if we were ready to order food but hadn’t even taken a drinks order, daughter ordered bread & olives only bread was brought, I ordered smoked salmons with capers & celeriac puree, hubby a prawn cocktail, mine was missing the celeriac puree so mentioned to a different waitress who didn’t seem bothered & just said I shall mention to chef he missed an ingredient off with a bit of an attitudes it wasn’t an ingredient it was a main part of the dish which was named on the menu, lunch came 2 chicken breadts were on the bone which looked more like chicken wings & was very dry, daughter ordered beef she likes it pink it came very well done so she didn’t want it the waitress asked shall I bring u another well yes as it’s not wot she ordered. We cannot fault the flavours of the lunch it was very tasty. We ordered further drinks & by time we had finished lunch they had not arrived. The service was absolutely crap & the waitresses didn’t seem to e bothered at all. All I can say is we will not be back here as it’s not cheap either, we don’t mind paying prices but this lunch & the service were definitely not worth it at all. All I can say Marco Pierre White wouldn’t b very happy if he knew this was happening g in one of his restaurants surely

This is a great place for a young child's birthday party, and the staff are very helpful when asked. A big improvement though, would to be greeted on arrival, or to have signs showing which area to go to for the party. It's a huge place, so would be better not to have keep asking for assistance. My son enjoyed the laser quest and bowling though, so overall an enjoyable day.

If you like your coke chopped and sniffed rather than in a glass then it’s ok. Frequented by every low life in the area with regular late night fights outside. Was ok when it first opened but now no decent people go

Grease is the word. It’s like they made a burger then decided to dunk it in a vat of oil. Slopfest. DNF. You have to choose your sauce and salad with the burger, which is a trend I am not on board with. The fries were like the old king fries at BK, but unsalted. Desserts are nice.

PARKING AT HAND Had a little 1 night away, and wow what a clean nice hotel stay, very friendly and welcome, rooms are lovely, everything you need.. then had breakfast the next morning June who works there is a pleasure, very friendly, caring, and bubbly person, makes you feel so warm and welcome, and cezear (sorry if name wrong) made the most beautiful breakfast, June deffo topped the stay off with her personality! i already can't wait to be back! ❤️❤️

Excellent customer service. Staff hardworking. Best wetherspoons pub I have been to. Staff clear tables promptly and keep tables clean ready for next person. No having to ask for table to be cleared and wiped down as happens in other Wetherspoons pub.

Not effen open yet! I don't mind if it's listed on the map, but then absolutely make sure the hours are correctly listed as *closed* - is common sense something that doesn't exist within Google maps??!!

I got told 20 mins when ordered, 40+ mins later... it arrives, partially cold and soggy with an item missing.

We both ordered the Vegan burger with large fries. Was a bit shocked at the price but this is famously a chicken place so understand that a vegetarian option would be more expensive. The shocker though is that the food is tasteless and incredibly dry, hair nets are not worn and bearded blokes have no face coverings and the eating area did smell of urine. I wasn't sure if this was coming from the toilets themselves or whether or not a young child had recently had an accident and the floor hadn't been adequately cleaned. Either way sitting there with that aroma filling my nostrils while eating an overpriced tasteless dry burger and watching the bearded geezer prepare the food left me feeling disgusted.

So this is my forth time I've ordered from mcdonalds in dalton park to my home address I have countless wrong right the driver parking on the other side road to even giving me the wrong mcdonalds this time I have ordered I big mc medium fries looked in the order no fries I am getting sick of this now you really need to sort it out

Visited KFC today and was really disappointed with the service. Luke spent most of the time chatting with other staff instead of focusing on orders. My order—just two items from the Saver Menu—took over 12 minutes to be handed out, even though it was ready. Meanwhile, drive-thru orders were being prioritized, with staff rushing to get them out while ignoring customers waiting inside. Other customers were also left standing around while staff stood talking. Really poor service, especially when the delay was completely unnecessary. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a hurry.

Totalmente caro y mediocre 3 filetes pequeños de pollo mini £ 6 - 49 £ 2 – 16 cada bit Probablemente 1/3 de una pequeña pechuga de pollo en carne... Es estúpido. Los mini filetes valen £ 1 - 50 cada uno máximo ...

Mi pedido tardó más de 30 minutos en hacerse y se sirvió frío, una vez que comí mi comida alrededor de 20 minutos después estaba escupiendo constantemente. Terrible experiencia. No recomiendo.
