Service terrible food disgusting

Had to wait ages for food, got the 4 piece chicken in buffalo sauce, more sauce than there is chicken, looks absolutely nothing like the picture you see when ordering, chicken was popcorn chicken sized and sauce tasted awful.

Bought my granddaughter a meal today, ordered a small tub of gravy with it, the gravy was like a pot of greasy water, no colour just pure greasy water, was told sorry its the way it was made this morning, so if they knew about it this morning why are they still service this at 2.30 pm, absolutely disgusting, will not be going there again, tindale crescent, Bishop Auckland

Got sent regular popcorn chicken instead of large, mash was out of time, rice was spilled all over bag, mini fillets cold

Please can staff smile while serving and pretend to like their job? Asking if we need any sauces or sugar for our tea/coffee would also be nice. Music too loud again 🙄

Awful! Stand at the till waiting to order only for the manager to turn her back and walk off, a simple 'i will be one minute' would do wonders but customer service is obviously behind those important Uber eats and drive through orders! Update!! No longer accept cash at the till, you are urged to use the boards at the front, bloody ridiculous! Will just go to somewhere that accepts cash!

we used the drive through 30mins and we're still waiting for our order if I had known it was a slow drive through I would have used popeyes across the road don't waist your your time and money here the staff are all asleep 1 star is the least I could give I don't think it deserves any stars Cornel Sanders would be disgusted

Absolutely awful ordered from Uber it took an hour and half to arrive and it was obvious that kfc had put the order together an hour and half ago when received shame on you kfc for still sending food that was barely warm saturated with fat due to the amount of time it was left there it all went in the bin if I had the option to give 0 I would have.oh Yh pass it on to your customer service which basically means nothing (common sense don’t put up orders until the drivers are on the premises )

Dead atmosphere, food all seasoned with the same rubbish. Staff were kind although were missing the basics.

Probably the worst place to go the staff are gormless the shift leader was good but everyone else awful total of 3 order on the screen and it took 15 minutes to acknowledge me food has gone downhill needs a complete revamp of staff

Great family experience. First time tryin bishop Auckland store in a long time due to making several complaints about cleanliness and service issues. On first impressions we noticed a big difference. The store front was clean and tidy. We used the kiosk and had help from Sarah. She was very friendly and approachable. She was really helpful with customers especially the elderly and noticing her regulars. This was nice to see and she was a credit to the KFC brand. Even heavily pregnant and only 12 days to go she was still very upbeat and hard working, keeping the store clean and ensuring orders were going out swiftly. The toilets were clean and bins were emptied. This store seems to of had a big improvement since the last time we visited. No complaints from us, we will return and definitely tell family and friends of the improvements. Sarah was 5*

Usual KFC experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a problem with our order. Missing some chicken. Also. Normally, we find KFC food fine, but for some reason, our chicken was really salty this time 🤷‍♂️ not sure if others experience the same. it may have been a one-off issue.

This eatery has upped its game in recent months. The manager is making herself visible and is a lovely helpful lass. It's mainly chicken on the bone meals I have and they are gorgeous, true to KFC original standards. Also everything on the menu appears to be available which is a great improvement, keep it up guys, I'll definitely be back. 👍

No-one took order so drove round to next window to be told to go to next window young girl with no customer service skills at all spoke like a robot never smiled food was cold won't be returning

Order incorrect . KFC IGNORE CALLS TO RECTIFY. UBER REFUSE REFUND RECUSED REPLACEMENT . SAYING ITS POLICY YOU HAVE TO CONTACT KFC. . WOULD BE POSSIBLE IF KFC BOTHERED TO ANSWER THE PHONE.

Truly horrible experience, certainly won't be going back. The hospitality was well not there. Must of gone the sametime the dinosaur died off. Atmosphere you could cut with a knife, cleanliness was disgusting. And as for the food, chicken certainly not freshly cooked and the chips had certainly been cooked again from the last service. And am speaking from experience there.

Everytime I've been here it's taken at least 30 minutes for the food to come out and then its cold anyway so God knows what they do in here! Popeyes across the road is better value and at least your food comes out within a few minutes and is piping hot.

Incompetent, miserable and rude staff. Left me waiting 30 mins then admitted they gave my order to the wrong customer. They likely gave it to one of the pikeys who came in and were not brave enough to tell me. If I hadn’t had gone in to question I would have been waiting there until the sun burnt out.

Bishop Auckland, absolute disgraceful service yet again.. last time no gravy in the gravy box after waiting 15 mins in the car park.. THIS TIME 22 minutes in the car park for a gravy box and 2 pieces of chicken, had to ask where it was in the end handed it cold (obviously forgotten about) no time to complain as had to rush off for work, every time I seem to go here all you see is people sent to the car park to wait for as little as 2 pieces of chicken.. this place needs a good shake up, run by 20 year olds who obviously don’t care.. you would think they’d shape up especially with Popeyes just opened across the road.. also no hot wings in my box.. Sort it out man your making an absolute disgrace of the brand.. not even worth a star

Never ever ever going back to KFC again. Once upon a time they did a 'variety meal', now it's just legs. Want a 4 piece meal on the bone? Here's 4 legs! Want an extra bit on the bone with your meal? Expect a leg! Want 3 pieces? Well you're getting a leg! Want that mighty bucket for one. You're having 2 legs! Every single time. I'll go to Popeye's where they don't have a leg fetish.

Visited today April 17th haven't been for a while and was very impressed service good and food was excellent well cooked and nice cold drinks will definitely be back

It's really poor food from such a big brand name. The drive through us a joke, usually waiting for food to be cooked. Food itself is well off the mark in comparison to other franchise of the same group, and most til staff have no customer skills really made to feel like I am an inconvenience to them.

Worst kfc I've ever had, never known anyone use a litre of mayo and bbq sauce on a burger! Absolutely shocking, whoever makes the burgers needs the sack, chicken burnt, fries greasy and disgusting

The tables were covered in crumbs and sauce. The food was extremely expensive while only coming in tiny portions. It took ages to come and by the time it did it was cold!

Worst KFC in the north east! Always cold stale food and takes forever to get your order with items 9 times out of 10 missing! I think it'll close soon with Popeyes over the road!

Fast food it is not. Obviously a incident as we waited nearly 10 mins for one simple burger. No explanation or apology.

Ordered 10 piece family bucket with extra hot wings. We were only customers when we arrived however still took 15 minutes for luke warm food. No breast in bucket, just barely warm thighs and legs with luke warm chips and gravy. Worst experience I've had at a KFC anywhere.

Food was wrongly given to me. I asked specifically for meat with no bones and was given meat with bones. Drinks were different colours although was the same drink. When informed staff , other drinks were given not what we asked and paid for. I do understand its not an easy job and i wasn’t angry but i think until ll is not a proper training is given to staff then don’t put them to serve customers. More frustrating was that they knew the issue with drinks they were still selling them. Would be easier to put a note and say (this drink is not available) and would avoid situations like this. Very very disappointed about this place.

Customer Service was great and the food ordered was fast. Enough space to seat in.

Abysmal, dont even bother going, slow, staff don't have a clue what they doing, getting orders wrong, ordered 3 popcorn chicken snack boxes which took over 20 mins to come and it wasn't even busy. Absolute joke. Don't waste your time.

I've never actually visited. I've driven past a few times and now Google thinks I'm a regular chicken eater.

The last 3 times we have been to this KFC we have had to wait over 30 mins for our food, everyone we go through the drive thru we get told to park up in the car park and end up waiting over 30 mins for our food.

Nice building and food good once it gets there but honestly not worth the wait sometimes it'll be a good 40 mins before your food comes. Been a few times always the same issue I once waited 20 mins for a single box of popcorn chicken

Staff only interested in delivery orders or drive through. Only when requested a refund was my order completed .

Waiting time for two burgers and one twister wrap - 60 minutes. Restaurant is not busy at all with most of the orders being deliveries.

Rubbish service, from ordering in the place took 40-50 minutes to get food

I have to say the quality of the food here has vastly improved. Had a dicky tummy after last visit here, a few years ago.

Only 2 staff on that day apparently which I was not informed of at the drive thru until I’d paid and was asked to wait in the car park. 22 minutes later my food came out. To be fair to the young lady who came out, she was apologetic and explained they had a cover manager in that day.

This kfc really gone down hill in terms of service 30 min wait for 2 meals on numerous occasions. Got forgotten about through the drive through. I suspect its not got enough staff and can't cope with the demand for walk in drive through and uber eats etx.

Pretty awful meal, last piece of chicken was actually raw.. Brought it back into the shop and the lad on the front looked horrified telling the kitchen it was uncooked. Was given 3 more strips that I didn't eat not wanting to risk it.. not good.

Drive through KFC, can take a long time for orders to be processed. Check the order before leaving with take can be sometimes packed wrong.

Food was terrible and got home and was on the toilet for most of the night highly do no recommend

One twister ordered in the drive through. Wasn’t busy, took 30 minutes to bring it out. This is the second time this has happened at this location. It had to be the slowest and worst KFC I have ever been to. Never again.

15 minute drive home ran to the toilet straight away we have half a 10 piece bucket left we were going to have tomorrow not now im contacting them 1st thing tomorrow

30 minutes wait for a family boneless banquet. Chips lukewarm, coleslaw and plates had to be asked for. Delivery drivers appear to take priority. Appalling service for a simple order.

Waited 30 minutes for a drive through order. Went inside for an update and given a bag of cold food that wasn’t even the correct order.

Food came raw (pink all the way to the bone) and it took over a week to get a refund, and even then I had to go through Uber Eats to get it, I will never be going again

Decided to eat in.Only customers. Very long wait for the order, which was totally messed up. The presentation was bismal and not as stated, boxed meals. Wrong drinks,no straws or napkins. Went to ask staff, none at counter, so I had to shout for attention. Needs someone to take charge.

Food as expected of KFC and fast food, service is sooooooo slow, not sure but think some people came in after me and got their food before me, so not sure if that's servers or kitchen staff fault. I usually love KFC but this one has really changed my opinion! I took my two teenage nephews and went through the drive through. As usual the menu displays the box meals and this helped us make our choices. At the delivery window, we were asked to park up and wait and we noticed quite a few cars doing the same. A man then came out and approached every car, to check whose order he had in the bag, then returned to the shop as he couldn’t find the buyer. Then he came to me and said it was ours. I thought you must be joking and said that by now it must be stone cold as he’d been on at least 10 minutes trying to find the correct car. He offered to go and get new food, which I doubt he did as he returned quite quickly. The big problem then was, that none of the meals were in boxes and they’d put 3 meals in 3 bags, which sounds ok but no, they’d done 1 bag with fries, 1 with the main item and 1 with the sides. Sitting in a dark car park trying to sort out who got what was a mare and then how were we supposed to eat them, as no box or paper plate! Plus items were missing, so off I went to get them, inside the shop. Big mistake as the service was appalling! The man who’d gave me my order, just said none of the issues were his fault, great teamwork! The manager then came and said they hadn’t had boxes for over a month, so I suggested they tell people this when they order and when I suggested putting each meal in a separate bag, it was a lightbulb moment for her! “ oh yeah, that might work”, was the answer. Hardly got an apology for the service or the missing items. Absolutely awful experience and we’ll never return to this store. They’ve got a 2 as the food was cooked ok

Worst KFC I have ever had. Had to park up as usual for 20 mins then my bottle of pop was forgotten then waited another 5 mins for that .Got it home cold overdone tasteless chicken; dried up beans; and cold gloopy gravy absolutely dreadful will not be going back !!!!

Absolutely waste of money. My delivery come half of my items were missing. Rang the shop customer service is non existent couldnt redeliver my missing items. Absolutely ridiculous price of £35. Got Zinger burger, 2x tiny chips, 2x cans of pop and one small pop corn chick. Absolutely shocking for the price. I will not be returning

Went to get food about 11.30am on a week day. There were 2 people in front of us (we had ordered using the in store screens). Waited 30 minutes for our order. Paid extra for the watermelon drink (which they didn’t even have available) and got standard Pepsi. They didn’t have garlic mayo either so had to choose a different dip. There were no hot drinks available and it appeared there were only 2 members of staff on. Chicken was dry and part of the order (fries) hadn’t been added to the bag.

Ordered food at half 5, came 2 hours late and cold and missing items. Apparently their policy doesnt allow them to redeliver missing items??? Really defeats the object of 'fast food'. The staff dont care whatsoever. Customer service non existent - should be expected really when the staff are all disinterested young kids.

I've dined in and used the drive-thru here a fair few times. Every time I drive-thru I'm asked to go park up and wait for my food, even if I'm the only car there. Then the wait for food to actually come out to me is usually between 5-10 minutes, but once it was as long as 20 minutes on a not-busy period. Dining in is much worse, and I will never dine in again. I placed my order using the touchscreens - no paper in the printer so didn't get a receipt. Now for just this reason, I have my phone camera ready to take a picture of my order number, but it flashed up on the screen so fast, I wasn't able to take a snap. We picked the table service, took a number and sat down. 20 minutes later still no food, but at least 20 cars had been through the drive-thru lane. I approached the counter and politely asked if they had my order, and that I had been waiting for a while. A young woman responded to me very politely and apologised saying they had been told to prioritise the drive-thru, but she would personally prepare my order now. Within 1 minute she brought over our order and apologised politely once again. Service would have been 1 star if it wasn't for the well mannered and professional young woman dealing with us the way she did, she single handedly improved the score by 2 stars, thank you to this woman. A credit to her upbringing and training. The service problems at this store are not due to the attitudes or work ethic of the staff, its clearly a management and process issue.

Ordered at the drive thru, was asked to wait in the blue bay, waited 25 mins still no food! Went inside and had to tell them what I'd ordered as they hadn't done it, I then waited another 8 minutes for 3 crushems. Definitely not my best experience in there but their saving grace is that the food is delicious.

Would not do two separate orders at drive though like other fast foods why !!

Waited over 40minutes.for food as did many others. Asked for a refund. Serving staff seemed perplexed and had no control. Even drive thru's were all being parked up. Manager who did refund was dismissive and aggressive and the irony was he was wearing a cap with the slogan "brilliant at the basics" which clearly neither he nor his team was.

Haven't been for a long time, but husband recently picked some KFC up at the drive thru. Not good value for money when we purchased a 12 piece boneless tub but got 9 pieces. Definitely not going back.

Bad service and extremely slow.

40 min wait for a burger, krushem and 4 boneless pieces. Clearly preferring to serve Just Eat drivers than in store customers. Gravy was only about half full, chicken must have been from a chick it was so small, and chips were put in upside down so all over. Oh, and none of the tables were cleaned the whole time we were there. Joyous. Only positive is that it was still the colonels recipe so the bits that came tasted finger lickin good.

Tea time on Friday, alot of people arriving and guess what, NO CHICKEN ready, assistant said its been quiet so we didn't put any on. 40 minute wait for order placed online, other customers unhappy about wait. After all that the chips were soggy disgusting and cold. Some of the chicken was luke warm with soggy batter and other pieces bone dry. Not a good experience, this was my first and last KFC

It seems they're grossly understaffed. Long queue for drive thru and car park is full of parked drive thru customers waiting for their orders

Turned up 4pm on a Friday. Pre ordered on the app before I arrived. Stood at the counter for around 5 minutes before being acknowledged only because I passed a comment to another person waiting. 40 minutes later I walked out with food. First and last time at KFC, the food wasn't even that good after all that time waiting. Not a fast food restaurant or finger licking good in my opinion.

Pretty standard as a drive through. However the whole process seemed to take a lot longer than any other I have ever been to (only one car in front). The food was as you would expect but I would have left if it was possible to escape the drive through. Instead I made it through war and peace while waiting

We chose to eat in today as we normally do as we prefer our food hot 🔥 touchscreen order found a cleanish table and seating area and waited and just chatting when some local yob shouted at the manager expressing his opinion what's up with the drive through as he had been waiting ages unknown to us sitting at the table the chaos outside. So then the gravy hits the fan and the lady behind the serving desk shouts at her troops saying we are going to slow guys we have had a complaint let's speed up. We got our food some minutes later and the drive through cars start moving We paid by card and never got any receipt so thankful to get food and we think we got short changed on chips portions but we ended up sharing and making do as we couldn't check our order but we had enough and thinking about whom would just stomp into the restaurant and shout his mouth off even when children where at the tables with families present Bish Vegas finest The troops caught up and one staff member had the time to start decluttering the tables and cleaning them Short staffed Too busy Too much on with just eat delivery priority ?
