Awful! Stand at the till waiting to order only for the manager to turn her back and walk off, a simple 'i will be one minute' would do wonders but customer service is obviously behind those important Uber eats and drive through orders! Update!! No longer accept cash at the till, you are urged to use the boards at the front, bloody ridiculous! Will just go to somewhere that accepts cash!

Absolutely awful ordered from Uber it took an hour and half to arrive and it was obvious that kfc had put the order together an hour and half ago when received shame on you kfc for still sending food that was barely warm saturated with fat due to the amount of time it was left there it all went in the bin if I had the option to give 0 I would have.oh Yh pass it on to your customer service which basically means nothing (common sense don’t put up orders until the drivers are on the premises )

Great family experience. First time tryin bishop Auckland store in a long time due to making several complaints about cleanliness and service issues. On first impressions we noticed a big difference. The store front was clean and tidy. We used the kiosk and had help from Sarah. She was very friendly and approachable. She was really helpful with customers especially the elderly and noticing her regulars. This was nice to see and she was a credit to the KFC brand. Even heavily pregnant and only 12 days to go she was still very upbeat and hard working, keeping the store clean and ensuring orders were going out swiftly. The toilets were clean and bins were emptied. This store seems to of had a big improvement since the last time we visited. No complaints from us, we will return and definitely tell family and friends of the improvements. Sarah was 5*

This eatery has upped its game in recent months. The manager is making herself visible and is a lovely helpful lass. It's mainly chicken on the bone meals I have and they are gorgeous, true to KFC original standards. Also everything on the menu appears to be available which is a great improvement, keep it up guys, I'll definitely be back. 👍

Truly horrible experience, certainly won't be going back. The hospitality was well not there. Must of gone the sametime the dinosaur died off. Atmosphere you could cut with a knife, cleanliness was disgusting. And as for the food, chicken certainly not freshly cooked and the chips had certainly been cooked again from the last service. Bishop Auckland, absolute disgraceful service yet again.. last time no gravy in the gravy box after waiting 15 mins in the car park.. THIS TIME 22 minutes in the car park for a gravy box and 2 pieces of chicken, had to ask where it was in the end handed it cold (obviously forgotten about) no time to complain as had to rush off for work, every time I seem to go here all you see is people sent to the car park to wait for as little as 2 pieces of chicken.. this place needs a good shake up, run by 20 year olds who obviously don’t care.. you would think they’d shape up especially with Popeyes just opened across the road.. also no hot wings in my box.. Food was wrongly given to me. I asked specifically for meat with no bones and was given meat with bones. Drinks were different colours although was the same drink. When informed staff , other drinks were given not what we asked and paid for. I do understand its not an easy job and i wasn’t angry but i think until ll is not a proper training is given to staff then don’t put them to serve customers. More frustrating was that they knew the issue with drinks they were still selling them. Would be easier to put a note and say (this drink is not available) and would avoid situations like this. Very very disappointed about this place.

I usually love KFC but this one has really changed my opinion! I took my two teenage nephews and went through the drive through. As usual the menu displays the box meals and this helped us make our choices. At the delivery window, we were asked to park up and wait and we noticed quite a few cars doing the same. A man then came out and approached every car, to check whose order he had in the bag, then returned to the shop as he couldn’t find the buyer. Then he came to me and said it was ours. I thought you must be joking and said that by now it must be stone cold as he’d been on at least 10 minutes trying to find the correct car. He offered to go and get new food, which I doubt he did as he returned quite quickly. The big problem then was, that none of the meals were in boxes and they’d put 3 meals in 3 bags, which sounds ok but no, they’d done 1 bag with fries, 1 with the main item and 1 with the sides. Sitting in a dark car park trying to sort out who got what was a mare and then how were we supposed to eat them, as no box or paper plate! Plus items were missing, so off I went to get them, inside the shop. Big mistake as the service was appalling! The man who’d gave me my order, just said none of the issues were his fault, great teamwork! The manager then came and said they hadn’t had boxes for over a month, so I suggested they tell people this when they order and when I suggested putting each meal in a separate bag, it was a lightbulb moment for her! “ oh yeah, that might work”, was the answer. Hardly got an apology for the service or the missing items. Absolutely awful experience and we’ll never return to this store. They’ve got a 2 as the food was cooked ok

Went to get food about 11.30am on a week day. There were 2 people in front of us (we had ordered using the in store screens). Waited 30 minutes for our order. Paid extra for the watermelon drink (which they didn’t even have available) and got standard Pepsi. They didn’t have garlic mayo either so had to choose a different dip. There were no hot drinks available and it appeared there were only 2 members of staff on. Chicken was dry and part of the order (fries) hadn’t been added to the bag.

I've dined in and used the drive-thru here a fair few times. Every time I drive-thru I'm asked to go park up and wait for my food, even if I'm the only car there. Then the wait for food to actually come out to me is usually between 5-10 minutes, but once it was as long as 20 minutes on a not-busy period. Dining in is much worse, and I will never dine in again. I placed my order using the touchscreens - no paper in the printer so didn't get a receipt. Now for just this reason, I have my phone camera ready to take a picture of my order number, but it flashed up on the screen so fast, I wasn't able to take a snap. We picked the table service, took a number and sat down. 20 minutes later still no food, but at least 20 cars had been through the drive-thru lane. I approached the counter and politely asked if they had my order, and that I had been waiting for a while. A young woman responded to me very politely and apologised saying they had been told to prioritise the drive-thru, but she would personally prepare my order now. Within 1 minute she brought over our order and apologised politely once again. Service would have been 1 star if it wasn't for the well mannered and professional young woman dealing with us the way she did, she single handedly improved the score by 2 stars, thank you to this woman. A credit to her upbringing and training. The service problems at this store are not due to the attitudes or work ethic of the staff, its clearly a management and process issue.

Turned up 4pm on a Friday. Pre ordered on the app before I arrived. Stood at the counter for around 5 minutes before being acknowledged only because I passed a comment to another person waiting. 40 minutes later I walked out with food. First and last time at KFC, the food wasn't even that good after all that time waiting. Not a fast food restaurant or finger licking good in my opinion.

Pretty standard as a drive through. However the whole process seemed to take a lot longer than any other I have ever been to (only one car in front). The food was as you would expect but I would have left if it was possible to escape the drive through. Instead I made it through war and peace while waiting

Absolutely the worst KFC ever! One window didn’t work, food was half out of order so therefore only half a menu! Absolutely waste of time having a drive thru or even a set up here! Avoid unless you want to be disappointed.

We chose to eat in today as we normally do as we prefer our food hot 🔥 touchscreen order found a cleanish table and seating area and waited and just chatting when some local yob shouted at the manager expressing his opinion what's up with the drive through as he had been waiting ages unknown to us sitting at the table the chaos outside. So then the gravy hits the fan and the lady behind the serving desk shouts at her troops saying we are going to slow guys we have had a complaint let's speed up. We got our food some minutes later and the drive through cars start moving We paid by card and never got any receipt so thankful to get food and we think we got short changed on chips portions but we ended up sharing and making do as we couldn't check our order but we had enough and thinking about whom would just stomp into the restaurant and shout his mouth off even when children where at the tables with families present Bish Vegas finest The troops caught up and one staff member had the time to start decluttering the tables and cleaning them Short staffed Too busy Too much on with just eat delivery priority ? Not the best experience when your paying too money
