As french tourist we REALLY appreciated our lunch in Island Poke. The staff is extremely kind and adorable really it has been a wonderful surprise! Especially Nino thank you VERY much! Food, portions and quality were completely there as well! My friend and I would recommand it to you 1000 times!!! <3

First of all, it’s a fusion of Nigerian and Caribbean foods - not American. I ordered the food online. It’s delicious!!! The only reason it’s not a 5* is that I think the owners are careless about the packaging and utensils used for deliveries. The food was not properly sealed and the utensils were just too poor (cracked wooden fork at the tip). it was not only cold but I was quite concerned about the hygiene - only ate it because I was extremely hungry. Please you guys need to do way better than this - you should have sealed big enough to take your food to customers. Otherwise, great food.

It is a beautiful venue with beautiful staff, it must be one of the best locations for a restaurant at Canary Wharf, I wanted to go here when it was launched, unfortunately the first time I tried it was a private function, but I have been in there twice since, the staff are a real asset and very welcoming. There was a DJ on the decks and she was very good. A big shout out to Daniel who was very approachable and talkative, a great asset to any lively team.

This restaurant pretends to be a steakhouse but serves horrible steak.

Very nice restaurant with good to very good food. The dessert topped it all off. Be sure to try toffee pudding.

Only my second time to a Blacklock but the food is great. The Sunday Roast is amazing and better than you will find anywhere else. Cooked perfectly and the gravy is so tasty. Make sure you have the cheesecake for dessert it is delicious!

18 of us went for dinner here on a Thursday night in October 2024 and sadly the service was very slow (over an hour for the food to arrive on a relatively quiet night) and when it did, some people’s steak requests were wrong and generally the food was underwhelming. Portions were on the small size with the fat chips being the highlight. We were also overcharged £83.00 for service on a Bill of £693.00, therefore ended up paying £780.00. We asked for the service to be removed, but apparently this is automatic on large tables and no refund was offered. Disappointed to say the least with no explanation given. Expected a lot better.

We sat outside because it was a lovely day (14th) We ordered the cocktails, which were lovely, then our food. We noticed some people looking on the floor and moving their. They then started screaming because mice were running about. They got up and went inside. By that time our food had arrived so we picked it up and went inside too. This totally put us of our food which wasn't that great. No seasoning in the burgers at all. When it was time to pay, we did get £10 off the bill when we complained but it was just "Oh yeah we get mice because it's food and near the water" Yes we understand that but there should be some notice up as a warning or just close outside. The first and last visit !!!!!

Good burger and good service, the burger waa extremely juicy and tender. The servers were very sweet and kind. A very nice experience, would recommend.

Food was good, shame there was no heating in the place 😁 made a change to our usual eating out places 👍

Went with a few friends to Beef & Birds in Brick Lane yesterday, probably my 3rd time of visiting the restaurant! We all ordered burgers with skinny fries and Korean wings, naga wings and bbq wings. The burgers were moist and tasty, wings were fantastic, loved the food, planning another visit there soon!
