Amazing fish and chips. Just what we needed after a busy day working the London marathon. Staff were all lovely and attentive. Food served quickly. Would return again!

Cosy restaurant with absolutely amazing dishes. I've tried position named "English breakfast". For me - tourist, it was great pleasure of getting to know the classic English dish. Reasonable prices with extremely kind and fast service.

This place is not really authentic - it feels more like a diner. But the food is fresh and really good. Even the mixed salad!

We ate there twice during our four-day stay. We really enjoyed it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food tastes great and the ambience is great. A small disadvantage in London, which is already too expensive, was that service fees are automatically added to the food. Between £4-5 both times... you should definitely know this before eating. You should definitely have eaten here :)

Ordered a haddock and chips and it came out in less than 2 minutes. It had clearly been precooked--fish and chips both were damp, oily and warm rather than hot. The vibe is "ironic tourist trap diner", which is what you would expect from a restaurant called "Jack the Chipper." But you would also expect a decent fish and chips. Nope. Worst fish and chips I've had in the UK by far, and I've had a lot.

In terms of freshness its great as they cook on order, but the cod was lacking flavour. Again went here due to high reviews but left feeling disappointed. However place is clean & looks cool. Manager & staff also friendly

Very authentic, I had an English breakfast and pancakes and it was excellent. The pancakes were fried I think which was a little weird but the accompanying honey was really good.

First time having fish and chips in London (finally)! Had the large cod and it was incredible. Cooked fresh to order - served so hot - fish batter was perfectly crunchy! Fish is fresh - never frozen. Yum! Friendly and fun service from Billy! So glad we found this place close to our hotel.

The food was great! Service was fast and they are all so kind. Billy was our server and is wonderful. I have food allergies and am always worried about traveling away from home. He was very careful and made sure that it was all prepared correctly. Highly recommend.

I would give this restaurant a wide birth . Very overpriced to start with and beware of the service charge of 12 .50 % which in my view is disgusting 🫣

This was a 10/10 experience for me personally. Tried a number of Fish & Chips in London but Jack The Chipper was the best by far. The food was so good that I came back here twice during my short holiday. Service was fantastic as well, particularly from Swathi, she was very cheerful, friendly, and had a great service attitude. I would totally recommend my friends and family to visit Jack The Chipper if they were to visit London.

Ate a classic cod fish & chips. Very pricey and doesn't taste "homemade". Good size portion and we got the food quickly. The service charge added on top of the bill is crazy

At first this place is deceiving . You may think it looks very touristy. But looks are deceiving. The staff Is so friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. The pizzas ,The fish and chips And that sticky toffee pudding for dessert Is excellent This is our first trip to London And we've been to this place twice, I definitely recommend it!!

Good food for meat eaters and vegetarians! I tried the pizza (Buffala) which is a new item in the menu and it was very good ( I am a New Yorker with high pizza standards. I also make my own pizza and own pizza cooking books). It reminded me of pizza in Italy. My husband had the fish and chips and it was good as well! The sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Definitely a solid spot and don’t be afraid to try the pizza! The staff were also friendly and we also appreciated the decor.

I was looking for a high quality fish and chips dinner, not too heavy, excellent cod, nicely cooked chips, and this was it. The service is also wonderful. Billy is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. It met all my expectations for an authentic, but healthiest version, meal visiting London. The atmosphere is old-fashioned and quaint and not too noisy so you can focus on the good food.

Fish and cheaps freshly cooked with fresh fish, both cod and cod, of your choice. Young, polite and friendly staff (Charles and Billy). For us Italian tourists it was very good to have dinner there one evening. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful staff, explained all the different types of fish and even though we were disappointed that upstairs was closed they gave us a free dessert to make up for it. We weren’t disappointed after at all!

We found this place by chance, also because it was convenient to the hotel and we ordered 2 pizzas which were nothing more delicious. Excellent dough as well as tomato and mozzarella, truly quality products. The very nice Italian owner and the staff were also very, very kind. The room was clean and very nice. We will also return because in addition to pizza we would like to eat other dishes and above all the legendary fish and chips, the reviews say it is fantastic... and other people who were near us eating it confirmed this to me. .
