Great food, our server, Kitty, was awesome and so friendly! We had the large cod and chips, and the fish cakes and chips, plus mushy peas for dinner. Very yummy, and totally hit the spot! The banoffee pie was sweet and tasty too! Thanks for a great meal!

A quick service restaurant with iconic decor and very attentive and friendly staff. We went there three times (thanks to Hati, Kitty, Huriye, Cisey and Page). It could just as easily be an ice cream parlor, decoration and music from the 50s would suit it.

Recommended place for your fish and chips cravings. Expect to pay £20 per person. They have a variety of fish to choose from. Try the side dish curry as a dip instead of the tartar. Good set of crew. We manage to note Hati, Huriye, Gisey and Kitty. We couldn't catch the name of the others.

All the staff were very gentle, kind, smiling, Kitty and Soul attended to us and they were super friendly. The food is very good, the prices too, the portions abundant. If I return to London I will surely return to eat there.

A very pleasant restaurant with a good atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately the fish and chips were poor. It's mainly about the fish which was falling apart and watery. fries and sauces ok. But the portion is quite large. Next time I will order something else ;-)

Fun diner style restaurant with simple menu featuring fish and chips, chicken and chips, and well mostly anything with chips. Staff is nice and attentive. The decorations and theming is really well done. Food is a tasty and will be enjoyed by anyone.

My husband and I went to Jack the Chipper around 21h45 for a quick late bite to eat. We’ve had our fair share of fish and chips and, unfortunately, didn’t enjoy the dish here. We planned to order the large cod to split, but they were out, so we settled for the regular. Portion size of the fish was good, chips were lacking. The fish was mushy instead of flaky. The chips were neither exceptionally crispy on the outside or soft on the inside. Overall, the meal left a lot to be desired. We sought out Jack the Chipper because of the great reviews, so we were very disappointed by our experience. To be frank, it’s just a tourist trap, which we should have figured out by the novelty quirky decor on the inside. On the bright side, the service was efficient.

A bit expensive for fish and chips, and there is a service charge, but the food is great!

Restaurant with a great, slightly retro atmosphere. The food is very good (the cod fish and chips are very well cooked and tender). The English breakfast is very good but what makes this restaurant deserve such a good rating, in my opinion, is the service. The staff are smiling and welcoming and put us at ease by offering great service. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Small downside however but which does not reduce the experience: the fries were not excellent but quite good all the same. The prices are affordable and are not excessive for the quality offered (very good value for money).
