Absurd Bird Spitalfields in Tower Hamlets

Despite specifically requesting them to not put the spicy mayo on my burger, it was absolutely doused in spring mayo so I couldn’t eat it. Not impressed, very easy request to follow.

Ordered from here via Uber Eats for the first time and cannot believe what I received. We ordered 2 burgers. And while one burger arrived just fine (and was nice) the other 'burger' arrived with just the bottom half of the bun, lettuce and tomato. That's it. Its as if someone forgot to add the top half of the burger. No chicken at all! Ridiculous! And when we called the restaurant to complain I was advised they can't do anything about it and I should contact uber eats (which I did and hope to get a partial refund). But of course we were extremely disappointed and annoyed. Never in my life have I seen anything like this. Its a joke. I'm not giving a 1 star just because the other burger was nice so shame you couldn't just deliver 2 burgers.

Great food - tried the veg chicken and waffles. Unfortunately their coffee machine broke so unable to have any hot drinks on a day that was freezing!

Outstanding bit of chicken! Makes Another well known chicken establishment look like it should be called Kentucky fried sparrow. Worth every penny. Will be returning for the chicken fix I never knew I needed until now.

This is one of my top”post covid food cravings”. I had to go to London and NEEDED some food I can’t get where I live. I had this delivered and it was delicious... chicken was crispy, waffles warm and soft... amazing gravy and maple syrup. It was dreamy. Still dreaming about it. Best chicken waffles outside the USA. Love coming here for bottomless brunch, well worth the £, still in a bit of a food coma an hour later. Service was quick and efficient (especially with the drinks, thanks Ay!). Tip - get the hooch if you’re on hair of the dog, it works wonders 🤣
