Mama Shelter Restaurant, Bar & Karaoke London in Tower Hamlets

Had such an amazing stay here. I had such a warm welcome from Marcus and Ishmael and really felt at home. The restaurant team provided an amazing service but I want to give a special thank you to Lola. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our food. She was also extremely funny, constantly making us laugh. Will definitely be back!

This spot is very good, it's got a very cool vibe and the costumer service is amazing. One of the people that works here is called Lola. She's very funny and somehow she's still able to talk to you while doing her job and attending to the things that you want/need within the hotel; Very reliable person.

El bar es muy acogedor, la música es agradable y el servicio es genial. Me detuve en el bar del hotel para tomar una copa y tuve la suerte de ser atendida por Janet. Janet era fantástico, atento y súper agradable.

¡Tuve una experiencia increíble celebrando el cumpleaños de Yassmine! El personal era increíblemente acogedor, e incluso nos trataron con prosecco en la casa. Disfrutamos de cuatro deliciosas hamburguesas, cada una mejor que la anterior! El ambiente era fantástico, por lo que es el lugar perfecto para una ocasión especial casual. Muy recomendable!

Cristi y Ange eran absolutamente increíbles — nos hicieron sentir verdaderamente bienvenidos y a gusto. Su calidez y hospitalidad hicieron que mi experiencia fuera inolvidable; son un verdadero mérito para su equipo, así que por favor cuídelos bien! The restaurant itself is lovely, fun decor and nice vibe but the service wasn’t great - sat waiting around a lot, staff were quite rude. The food is fine but nothing special. Bit disappointing.

My waitress was Sara she was absolutely lovely, we chatted & nothing was too much for her. I regularly stay at Mama Shelter & each time all of the staff are polite, fun & super helpful. This is a great place to stay Thank you guys

We came for the first time to the mama shelter restaurant with our family to have a little pre Christmas catch up. Absolutely loved the interior decor, the food was lovely and the staff were very attentive and caring. First visit but certainly not the last!!

Exceptional service, very personable staff and a fantastic atmosphere. The food was great and an awesome DJ playing some tracks!!

Un lugar tan hermoso para comer, pero esta vez necesitaba un lugar para reunirme con mis colegas. No decepcionó en absoluto. Tuvimos un tiempo absolutamente increíble aquí. El tipo llamado Marven cuidó de nuestra mesa — tipo muy agradable y muy servicial. Sin duda volveremos pronto, y recomiendo encarecidamente a las personas que quieren trabajar en algún lugar que no se siente como el trabajo!

Marvin era fantástico, nada más que servicial, receptivo y atento, no podía pedir más. Me encanta alojarme aquí por encima de la ciudad de hoteles de drones.

Fue a comer sin fondo y las bebidas siguieron fluyendo. ¡Era el cumpleaños de mis mejores amigas y la trataban como una estrella! Sin duda recomendaría!

El personal proporcionó una gran experiencia y tomó la iniciativa a la hora de guiarnos a través de los menús, etc. El servicio fue rápido y amable. También apreciamos las decoraciones de Halloween, y genuinamente las áreas se mantuvieron limpias. Buena vibra sin duda recomendaría

I used to like the food at Mama Shelter, but this time my chicken was overcooked and the side potatoes were cold and tasteless. For the price (around £20) I expected better food. The service was slow

Decor and ambience lovely - food - not even average - sub standard and vastly overpriced. They need to sort out the food and quickly. I would only ever go back for a drink and not to eat

Terrible service, the bar manager, think his name was Martin was rude to me, and his staff. Looked liked could not cope with his job was venting on customers and staff alike. Such a shame because the place is very cool, and good food, and that is why it got two stars instead of none. Would never go back, unless change off of bar manager, just not acceptable. Did not follow up further on the night as scared of how Martin would react, with his inability to conduct himself professionally.

We went out with my friends to have dinner but terrible night and very bad servis very bad food as well. Every buddy had food on the table except me because they forgot to put my burger. And after 25 min l got my burger but was raw l told waitress but he was rude to me He should not work in this industry…. And then they pretending nothing happened no sorry no something else Mate even was not busy Please guys don’t destroyed this nice place

Very nice looking and initial thoughts were very promising. However the running of this place and the staff service was very lacking. Went for lunch but most of the Sunday lunch menu was unavailable. Took forever to order. Food was tepid on delivery. Sat with finished plates for 45 mins and no one appeared interested in clearing up or offering any further drinks or deserts. Toilets were not that clean and had no toilet paper. Very hard to recommend a place like this. Surely they must be able to do better.

Absolutely fantastic place, wonderful service, food and cocktails. Came here with my partner for LCW and grabbed their Vivir Espresso cocktail. Thank you so much to Victor for helping us out. Really kind and welcoming waiter

Bland, unseasoned food. Very disappointing, would not return. Went for a birthday lunch and found the food incredibly underwhelming.

Lovely setting. Sunday service was slow, so much so we were given a round of drinks for free as they took so long to come (after our starters arrived). There were only a few stand out dishes, the wellington and crusted lamb - the rest of food was average.

It looks fabulous- inside and outside. Great setting. I had a couple of cocktails and I cannot fault at all- really yummy and not too bad for London price-wise. Just the one thing I would constructively criticise is the service. There were so many staff around and I waited at the bar (not a problem but it wasn't busy at all)- staff even were behind the bar and then walked off. They were very attentive and polite once noticed. There was also a staff meeting on loudly at the bar between 2 staff about a customer who had been rude and it did not seem like the right setting. I really like this place for the drinks and atmosphere but it would be good if staff were assertive as there were a lot of them around.

Very nice place with cool decor, food was good too, excellent service by Jalika fast attentive and warm.

Bar area is really nice. Great to hang out, beer on tap was great. We ate too, i had the chicken burger which was inedible. How it came out of the kitchen I will never know. Beyond overcooked, it was rock hard. They didn’t charge me for it. Rooms are fine, actually quite underwhelmed by them, thought they would be better. 10 minutes walk to Bethnal Green tube. Overall bar area great, next time I will go for a beer, skip the food and probably stay somewhere else.

Overall is nice - Good food nice cocktail. Food menu does not have so much wide choice. Very bad was to see Mattia - manager - the way how he treats the coworker is awful. Not sure what really hos role is, but he was making fun of his peers, and it really caught my attention! I really hope an action will be taken, as is unpleasant to see this people treating this way c- workers especially in front of guests! I would give 4 stars but because of him, i will lower it to 2!

I have been several times to eat, It is amazing place to eat and meet your friends for drink but toddy the fish and chips wasn’t great like used to be. I will be back because there are lots to offer to eat. I also found too expensive a White House wine for £12.00

Ambiente con bella decorazione multietnica e musica dal vivo. Buona scelta, piatto vegano nella media. Piuttosto caro.

Love the vibe here especially on a weekend night. Great music, food and cocktails. The staff work well as a team and are really friendly.

After a dreadful experience across the street at the Ozone cafe where we left before our dinner came, we came here and enjoyed the roast pork belly and roast veg with a bottle of wine. Lovely service in a warm restaurant on a chilly evening.
