The best restaurants serving American food in England

I visited Bar Sport over the weekend to watch the football. The menu looked tempting so we decided to order some food and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service received, particularly considering how crowded it was. Compliments to the chef!

Not much food in stock, went with the chicken and it was undercooked and now have food poisoning. The mash potato was so dry and beans was over powered with bbq Sauce. Wish I now looked at reviews before going as this looks like a common thing.

Amazing , I ordered the maple pancakes , my daughter had the all day breakfast and Childs pancakes for my granddaughter , iced coffee What can I say the best breakfast that I have had for a long time The pancakes were so light and fluffy tasted amazing. The breakfast was very tasty and the poached eggs cooked to perfection The child’s pancakes were lovely

Mi pareja y yo hemos estado en este restaurante dos veces recientemente. La primera vez fue muy buena, ambos comimos pollo y papas fritas y una bebida. El pollo sabía bien, pero sospechamos que pudo haber sido cocido en el microondas porque apareció muy rápido. El servicio de camareros fue bueno en esta ocasión. Visitamos por segunda vez una semana más tarde y obtuvimos el resultado opuesto. Estábamos caminando por Southbank cuando comenzó a llover mucho, así que nos detuvimos aquí para tomar una copa.Sorprendentemente no estaba ocupado por dentro. El lugar podría hacer con una limpieza como las mesas estaban sucias. El personal parecía estar multitarea y confundirse con quién ordenó qué.Pedimos unas bebidas, una de ellas era un té y añadieron que el té era muy suave. Tuve que pedir un reemplazo y separar la leche para que pudiéramos servir la nuestra.

Came here with my sister for lunch. I had Eggs Benedict, which was really good, Would have been excellent if the eggs had been runny but the Hollandaise Sauce was delicious. Points are lost because of dirty tables, floor and cutlery and perhaps some of the staff in the kitchen could come out and remedy this issue which I see has been mentioned in other reviews, A shame because there is so much potential here - just needs someone to guide the staff a bit perhaps to make the dining experience better.

Very poor service. Waited for 25 minutes in queue then told at till it would be another 15 minutes for a toasted sandwich. Instead had a tasteless egg sandwich. Only one person taking orders, making teas coffee etc and taking the money. This was a busy lunchtime and there was poor management and organisation. Will not use again

The buffalo wings here are one of a kind. the menu and quality of food is great. The cocktails especially the Bloody Marys were delicious! Great vibe and lovely, helpful staff.

Woody’s you didn’t disappoint. After many years of getting Woody’s we moved to Devon over 20 years ago and had our last Woody’s on a visit to London 15 years ago. In London to take the “kids” to the theatre and, yes, we just had to experience Woody’s again. Still there, still same menu and boy still the same taste. Lovely people, great service and let’s hope it’s not another 15 years until we return!

Realmente me gustaron las hamburguesas. Dirty Burgers es una pequeña tienda ubicada en el corazón de Shoreditch, justo enfrente del infame BoxPark. Mis padres y yo pasamos por un almuerzo rápido y quedamos completamente sorprendidos con la calidad de las hamburguesas. La oferta de almuerzo por 9 libras (que incluye una hamburguesa, papas fritas y una bebida de su elección) es una buena oferta para los estándares de Londres. Sin embargo, las patatas fritas no son más deliciosas que las opciones normales de comida rápida. Si realmente te apetece una hamburguesa, te sugiero que optes por Honest Burgers o Patty & Bun. Sin embargo disfrutamos mucho de nuestras hamburguesas y pensé que el pan era especialmente sabroso.

Love and am blessed to have this amazing restaurant in my neighbourhood. I visit almost weekly! The vibe is glorious from the moment you walk in- The most amazing staff that I have had the pleasure of being served by. They are always so friendly and happy to help with any dining questions or requests. The music is chilled and the décor is fantastic! I don't often write reviews but these guys go above and beyond expectations to ensure you have a the perfect dining experience. The menu has food that would suit most people, even fussy eaters have a choice! My son says the smash burgers are the best burgers he has ever tried!-He has tried more than most. The pizzas are divine and I am unsure which pasta dish I would recommend as they are all so good! This place has been perfect for, a girls catch up meal, Mothers Day, Birthday celebrations, Sunday Lunch and just because it's one of the few places left locally that can cook better than I can! Easily my favourite restaurant!

We booked the Porterhouse Restaurant based on the photos on TripAdviser BUT we were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant to be told that it is no longer a Steakhouse and has not been a Steakhouse for 2 years!! We however decided to stay for dinner and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the steak. It was tender and cooked to his specification. I had the Beef, ale and mushroom pie which was a bit disappointing. The pastry was very soggy, the broccoli was so overcooked it was basically mush and the new potatoes were very overcooked. One plus was that the cutlery was presented in a sealed packet although the condiments were what we would have had on the table pre-covid. I did see a waitress wiping down the chairs and just changed the table cloth but the condiments were not wiped down If we had a choice, we would not eat here again.
