Mi pareja y yo hemos estado en este restaurante dos veces recientemente. La primera vez fue muy buena, ambos comimos pollo y papas fritas y una bebida. El pollo sabía bien, pero sospechamos que pudo haber sido cocido en el microondas porque apareció muy rápido. El servicio de camareros fue bueno en esta ocasión. Visitamos por segunda vez una semana más tarde y obtuvimos el resultado opuesto. Pedimos el bistec y el camarero prácticamente duplicó el precio, así que lo cambiamos al pollo y papas fritas y escribimos algo completamente diferente. | Él cometía errores constantemente. Pedí la factura que compró el camarero, pero tan pronto como saqué mi dinero para pagar la factura, pero no la puse en la caja, este ineficaz camarero regresó y se movió para ver qué estaba pagando (para ver cuál era su consejo). era.) Me opuse bastante fuerte y el gerente me preguntó cuál era el problema. El gerente había presenciado los problemas anteriormente y había sido testigo de esto, ¿y tenía que preguntar cuál era el problema? ¡No está bien! This restaurant it is located in the Central of Walthamstow,so in a very good spot,unfortunatelly their staff let them dowm,though their write on the note pad the order,still forget what customers have ordered,never appologies ,especially young woman,who I found very rude. The food it is bit expensive I would say,for 2 fried eggs,1rush turkey(small)few mashrooms £4.99 The toilets OMG filthy,so dirty,cannot imagine how the kitchen might look inside Very intersting that they have no Food Igiene Rating. Few weeks ago I ordered online ,lamb chopps I said I want it well done but not burned,couldn't even ate it,all you could taste was the burned smell and taste,in the bin waste £9 for 4chopps without any side. Will definetelly not be returning

Staff in there are lovely and attentive. We were made to feel really comfortable and the food was very reasonable for the price. Thanks Directors Cut!

Guy which served me tried his best but unfortunately he couldn’t cover all mistakes from kitchen. I ordered medium rare but steak itself came half frozen (parts next to bone have been still frozen). Manager took it from me to cook better but microwave can do only little bit. Grave was absolutely horrible, I don’t know where they bought it. Pound shop? Manager tried his best , he offered me complimentary dessert but unfortunately for him brownie was absolutely horrible. That was my first and unfortunately last visit to that place. Shame. I just leave right away.

We went there on a Friday evening, it was very quiet in the restaurant. We got served straightaway however the food was a massive disappointment. We ordered buffalo wings which were very oily, hot dog which was very bland (no mustard), a beef steak burger and a chicken steak burger, both of which were very tough to eat. The meat was too hard and tasteless. Overall I would not recommend going there as the food is not worth the money, next time I’m in the area i would walk a few shops down the road as there are loads more restaurants in the vicinity.

I went here after watching a movie as they are opposite the cinema, good location. I asked the bearded man who is usually at the front of shop if the cake was homemade and he said yes. It cost me £3.75 a slice and when I got home it was a COSTCO cake and it tasted synthetic and stale. I felt really let down, you shouldn't b dishonest with the customers if someone has an allergy what would you tell them, that it's nut free? if I want a COSTCO cake, I can get a whole one from there for under a fiver. Somebody needs to speak to the staff especially the grumpy guy at the front.

The food here is a bit overpriced for what it is and needs more attention. Speaking of attention, can someone tell me why the guy serving is on his phone every time we go in?!!! He took ages to serve us

I came here with my family a couple days ago, All of us got a steak and asked for them to be well done however when the food came there was blood dripping from our steak which clearly that isn't well done ! My starters which was lamp chops was raw as well which there was blood dripping as well... Worst service honestly, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Where do I begin.... so 5 of us went and thought we would try Directors Cut. What a MISTAKE! The food was terrible, uncooked and tasted vile. One of the meat staters wasn’t cooked and had to be sent back. 2 of our mains where also undercooked and the T-bone steak was so over cooked it would have been better trying to eat the charcole. I would never go there or recommend anyone else does. Worse place I have ever been!

it is ok for milkshakes. the food is not really on point. i bought fried chicken strips from there and they tasted like rocks

I went here for a meal with my partner recently and it was okay, nothing special but decent enough. On the plus side the service was friendly, it wasn't too expensive, and I enjoyed my meal. On the downside our food arrived at two separate times (with a five minute gap inbetween my girlfriend getting hers and my receiving mine) and hers was luke warm, and got cold quickly. I probably wouldn't go back, but I don't regret eating here.

I like the coffee and breakfast here! Nice value and good flavours of coffee yummy!! Also the shakes are good during summer times

Kinds meal let me down,i have ordered it before for my frinds kinds... but this time was a no go. The chunk of onion was so big that even an adult will refuse to have that.

Incredible grilled chicken burger. Love the rice, chicken and salad. Affordable and very delicious. Always visit after a long session after the gym.

Looked promising from the outside but pretty empty inside. There's always a reason why, now I know. The food was average. They give you the cheapest brands of sauces that taste disgusting with food.My friend started feeling sick after eating half of her food. Didn't finish her food. Annoying waitress who didn't understand English kept coming over to sell us more food and drink. Out of pity ordered a cheese cake which was gross. We paid and left will not be going back again.

Popped in for a coffee and cake over the weekend. The place was nice, and the coffee and cake was decent and well priced. Generally enjoyed myself until the end when, as I went to walk out a member of staff accused me of not paying, even though I paid when I entered. It wasn't the accusation that offended me, it was the manor of it, rude and unwilling to listen to me. So I had to actually show the payment from my banking app on my phone. Nice place, but do remember to treat customers well, that's kind of what makes your business, after all.

Food was lovely but with the competition so fierce locally I think that it is a little pricey for what it was (breakfast option)

Al otro lado de este, ya que envejecido estaban indecisos dónde comer. Había un miembro del personal amable fuera de la tienda que nos dieron y al final hablando decidimos ir y estoy muy contenta de haberlo hecho! La comida es de excelente calidad, frescos, muy sabrosa, y a un precio razonable. Pedimos la comida de pollo, patatas fritas, cordero 400 niños burger comida y desbarbado de pollo comida. El tamaño de las porciones fueron muy generosos para el precio y todos (incluidos los niños) disfrutamos de nuestra comida. El servicio de atención al cliente es excelente y el personal es muy amable y servicial. Me alegro de que descubrimos este lugar y definitivamente volveremos aquí de nuevo y lo recomiendo! ! Usted no será decepcionado.

Hemos venido aquí cada fin de tener alas de Buffalo y batidos. Nunca estás, alas son siempre acertadas y la batidos son las mejores en Walthamstow, de lejos.

Fue una experiencia fantástica. Fuimos junto con 2 miembros de la familia. Disfrutamos mucho. Acogedor restaurante único en el corazón de Walthamstow. El servicio era bueno. Recomiendo encarecidamente el pollo bistec especial ofrecen Burger. Lugar muy higiénicas y limpio. Si en su descanso de almuerzo o de hambre después de un largo y cansado día a directores de pop de corte.

I just went in with some of my friends that was very and i ve been really impressed how firendly the staff was and the food was good as well.

Tenía el brunch de los domingos y el postre con dos amigos. Pedimos un desayuno inglés completo y quedamos encantados con lo que había. Bien preparada comida con porciones generosas. Dirigido a ver Roger Federer ganar ##Wimbledon final así!

Ha sido un rato mi marido y yo pregunto si deberíamos ir probar este lugar, finalmente decidí probarlas, ya que la comida era redoblar walthamstow fest. Este acogedor lugar producen comidas que hizo mi hijo, quiero decir gracias chef Ramsey en la cocina. Los sabores eran adecuadas. . . . Y las chuletas de cordero. . . . Suave y suculento. mmmmmmm. Las patatas fritas, chili cursi en mi boca y estómago. La carne estaba bien sazonada, no probamos el filete, pero quizá se la próxima vez. El camarero era muy paciente mientras disfruta de nuestra orden.

Buscando un lugar para comer a la hora del almuerzo. Caminamos de ida y vuelta de la calle mercado sin conocer el área muy bien. Zainab me sacó con una introducción agradable. Buena comida y servicio al cliente de ella. Sin duda regresar si en la zona.

This is a small cozy happy place. The food is amazing. The DC burger and lamb chops are delicious. Portions are big and they are amazing for the prices - 6.95 burger+chips+drink!! The waiters are super nice and the food comes really fast. I never had to wait more than 10/15 min. The Oreo milkshakes are to die for and they have an amazing variety of shakes/drinks. If you want to get away from the chain restaurants, this is the place (also super close to the station).

I had the three burger sliders meal. Expected real meat, but it all seemed very processed, and not real meat. I didn't finish the meal, and one burger I only took one bite, and couldn't face another one. There are better places to go around Walthamstow. There were other tables complaining too. The drinks, however, were really nice, as they were the chocolate bar milkshakes. Id get them again as a takeaway option. Would never eat there again.

We had breakfast here on Saturday 10th Feb. We were served by a fantastic waitress who greeted us with a huge smile. The food was good and served to us quickly. The lovely waitress kept my Mum company while I ran errands and then phone us a cab. Top Notch Service.

A unpretentious cafe, very well placed for pre. or post cinema visits. Friendly staff, coffees or smoothies, ice cream, burgers. I like the fact they often have newspapers which I can browse.

Don't go......... Seriously. This place seemed relatively good from the outside but our trip ended with my partner and I leaving the meal prematurely in sheer disgust. Here are the highlights 1. They have a external serving hatch (which they leave open) it was 9 degrees C outside creating a massive internal draught, the other patrons like us where eating with our coats on.2. The food was terrible - fatty, greasy cheap ribs. Nasty dry and leathery steak. Even the chips were cold. 3. Service was terrible - the older Eastern European lady was good but we were served by this young girl who 1) Completely forgot my partners order 2) Was not sure about what the restaurant served (had to check if ribs were on the menu) 3) Said she didn't know if the food was good because she hadn't eaten any of it. 4) didn't really have any enthusiasm or understanding of how to do the Job (seemed more like someone who has just been asked to help out).4. Starters and mains came at once (why?)5. After going through all these points they offered us a free hot drink - we declined and promptly left.I would never go here again.

Firstly the location is awesome right next to the Walthamstow Central train and bus station and right opposite the empire cinema. Secondly I love visiting DC, The food is very nice and delicious and the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the place is very tidy and a nice place to go for a family dinner or with friends or colleagues. I usually go for the chilly cheese chips which is so delicious and chicken steak burger(£5.95) with orea milkshake(£3.95).

I thought I'd try it again. There is a lady with long dark hair - and she is really good- efficient, friendly and polite, the asian guy is also good. I got served by a caucasian guy and I got a ferrero rocher milkshake - he only put 3 pieces in. She puts 4 pieces. I can hardly taste the ferrero rocher with just 3 measly pieces. I am paying 4 pounds for it. I'm not going there again. Perhaps he was being tight - but you have to deliver value for money. They need staff training.

A lovely breakfast and burger a top meal in a very busy high street with great value for money the girl serving seemed to a migrant who seemed more obsessed with her looks than the customer !! So had ask a couple of times to get her attention !! But otherwise lovely food!!

Came here with friend after weeks ago and was left suitably unimpressed, rude service and mediocre food at best. I wasn't going to write a review but I just saw in the guardian that they've just been found guilty of fly tipping tons of rubbish in Waltham Abbey so that rekindled my desire to write this and for the latter issue. Absolutely will not return.

I came to the restaurant one weekend evening in April, said hello to the staff. There were comfy padded seats at the back of the restaurant and sat down. Then a female staff member came over to me and said that it was reserved.However, there was no reserved sign on the table. Really, upon reflection, the staff member should have led me to a table when I entered if some of the tables are reserved and not signed. Most of the other tables and seats were hard wood and didn't seem comfy. There was a booth near the front but staff seemed to be using it for cutlery and admin - so I could not sit there. I live near the area, and just left and walked over to Nandos.Clearly they didn't want business. It was mainly empty. I'm not surprised. I didn't find staff tone friendly or helpful. Nandos was much nicer! Staff are much better trained and have better attitudes

Had a quick stop so only had a lovely cappuccino . And a dessert .. Waffles and ice cream . Generous portion. I will return. Fancy trying their burger meal.

I visited this Grill restaurant with my family. After been recommend by couple of friends. After waiting for a bit waiting for her to finish her chit chat with her friend The waitress came to take our order and one of my friends was still trying to decide what to get. The waitress made a disagreeable face and my friend asked if she was mad that she hadn't decided. She said "no, I'm just not feeling well. I have a bad sore throat " Can you please tell me, what in the world was she there for serving people food if she was sick??!! And had Oily hair. Also We sat in a corner and the waitress keep on opening the small door which was really annoying. It really made us very uncomfortable and we should have asked for another seat with another server but one of my friends didn't want to make a fuss. The food was okay, it probably was better but we couldn't get past the fact that the waitress was sick and serving us our meals!

I spent this Christmas with my son who lives here in WalthamstowI poped in to what i thought was a coffee shop from outside, i went in ordered my coffee which was relay nice by the wayWhile enjoying my Flat white coffee i started a conversion with one of the staff who had a strong Northern Accentsomewhere in the conversation The DC Burger came up, this staff member was that confidence that his burger was one of the best in town, joked with him in a friendly manner that if i don't like it i am not going to pay for itBefore ordering he said to me that if you don't like it I won't charge you, which i thought was a confidence about his Burgeranyhow i ordered it i was only joking with him, i saw other people eating food and i just felt hungryI have to say truly it was a marvelous burger everything about it was perfect for mei complimented the gentleman and promised him i would try his steak when i visit my son againSome of the other staff needs to improve otherwise it was wonderful experience.I am sorry i didn't catch his name as the resturnet got busy and i didn't get the chance to say goodbye to himAll the best

I went to see my brother during the festive holidayswe went to couple of kabab shops in the area and we were recommended by a friend to visit the new grill place in walthamstow called Directors cutIt was quite busy that day, my first thought were it looks niceone of the staff member recomended the lamb chops and The DC Burger i took his advice and went for that , my brother choose buffalo wings and T Bone SteakI have to say i was very impressed by the the quality of the food, it was amazing.i haven't had that good burger in manchester for a long long timethe service was ok but can be improvedDeffinetly i would come back again when i am down here again

A server can make or break a meal. We've all had good meals made great by an attentive, knowledgeable server - and good meals ruined by a negligent server. Having worked in the service industry for several years, it's easy for me to identify when a server is bad or when the management just hasn't supplied the training and support for that server to be successful. Most waitstaff want to provide a great experience because it translates into larger tips. But what happens when you take the server out of the equation all together?Ordered my food and the waitress had noClue about the menu and couldn't help me with what I wanted. And not exaggerated but waited 25 min for my coffee to arrive! Very poor service.And as I'm regular to the place I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. So I paid and left and never coming back! So management and waitress got be sorted out as I won't trust the food anymore if the manager herself was confuse.

Visited last Friday with family and had the Buffalo (chicken) wings as a starter which was nice. 6 pieces in total in big, chunky and sauced drum sticks they were.Had the T-Bone steak well done and mrs had the lamb steak well done as well. Even though the chips in my opinion was less in this massive place, the steaks were 'outstanding'. So I'll give a standing ovation to the chef as hadn't had a well cooked juicy steak like that for a while.

Better get this straight - I haven't eaten here... I just stopped by the window to get a milkshake but the experience was so laughable I had to write it down.I walk past this place every day, always looks decent on the outside, so ordered up a milkshake at the window service area thingy. They took my money pretty quick, efficient I thought, no, no this is just to keep you hostage there while they take half an hour to make a stupid milk based drink. Finally once the guy had stopped randomly faffing about the kitchen, intermittently smiling and doing various other non essential tasks and serving precisely no other customers I got my drink - which was less than half full in the milkshake specific cup he gave me, he looked at me, looked at the drink laughed and said "oops that one came out a bit low". A BIT LOW?! The tide was out on my drink... genuinely if I hadn't of had the fear of waiting another half hour for him to resolve it I would of asked him if he was kidding.So yeah go here if you want to pay £3.50 for a shot of flavoured milk.

Visited this place the other week with the partner. The waiter/cashier came to us whilst we were still deciding what to order and then started telling us that they had 'deals' going on. Like we were on a budget. He then tried to offer us a Burger and other stuff. It was only 10:30 am. He tried to be nice but it was obvious he lacked common sense it was like the whole place was just all about him. He socialised with customers much of the time and I felt he would of been better suited to working in an art gallery. He was in his own world. He seemed to have picked out the customers he wanted to actually engage with and be more attentive towards. We ordered two English breakfasts anyhow, but not the Full Breakfast. When it arrived, I was quite disgusted as to the cost of the breakfast to get so very little food on the plate. I do think they made a mistake on the menu in terms of singular and plural tenses. I stayed quiet as I was with the other half. The scrambed egg was extremely oily. Everything else was good, but just very less of it.My partner, although she enjoyed her food- She had a fried egg instead of scrambled egg, did not want to come back again due to the poor customer service, she was really annoyed with his antics. I don't know how this member of staff can parade about like he is the star of a show. up and down the place, like some big event that he is organising. He really annoyed my partner with his lack of service and attention skills. Even when she asked for an extra toast we waited almost 15 minutes for it, and he plumped the plate down and walked off. Obviously he had more important customers to deal with. I wanted to have a word with him before we left but my partner wanted us to stay quiet. I think we waited 25 minutes for the breakfast to actually arrive. The place only had about 2/3 people seated when we ordered.I can say that the place looks and feels nice, but I would not come back here as to the high prices, poor service and long wait for food.

Food really nice and cosy and warm place perfect for business meeting ! Food took some time but was worth waiting for ! Will be back

Visited with a friend back in January food was ok nothing special and nothing that made me want to return. Its okay for something local.

Before my husband and I visited this restaurant, I checked its website to clarify the opening and closing times. It was a Wednesday night and the closing time for that day was 11pm. So, we arrived at 9.30pm and we were ushered to a booth at the back of the restaurant. The waitress went to get our menus and we settled down, until she returned to tell us the restaurant was closing in 15 minutes .... I told her that I thought the restaurant was closing at 11pm today, and she said sorry about that. So we got up and left. She really should have told us before we sat down and wasted our time. I bet the chefs didn't want to bother cooking!!! Won't be returning...

I finally got the chance to check this place out and I wasn't disspointed The food was excellent and the price are reasonable The chops and steak were excellent and the desert wasn't bad either Diffently coming back there

I heard good things about this new stakehouse in Walthamstow high street, so I went along with some friends..and were not disappointed!the staff were really friendly and the food was really tasty especially the steaks and the Oreo milkshake!we will definitely be coming here again!
