Eat in Lambeth

Estábamos caminando por Southbank cuando comenzó a llover mucho, así que nos detuvimos aquí para tomar una copa.Sorprendentemente no estaba ocupado por dentro. El lugar podría hacer con una limpieza como las mesas estaban sucias. El personal parecía estar multitarea y confundirse con quién ordenó qué.Pedimos unas bebidas, una de ellas era un té y añadieron que el té era muy suave. Tuve que pedir un reemplazo y separar la leche para que pudiéramos servir la nuestra.

The food was just not tasty enough and the atmosphere was sterile. Toilets were absolutely filthy and the whole place looked run down. The Southbank has so much choice, this cafe needs to smarten up. Sorry, won't be going back.

Si sólo quieres un aperitivo, entonces este es el lugar para parar si en la zona de Southbank, ya que la comida es de costo razonable y de buena calidad, y esto le permite cambiar rápidamente y ver el resto de la zona sin parar para una comida completa.

this place is everywhere, good for lunch! I have tried the British pie with chicken, it was fantastic, my girlfriend tried the veggy sandwich (which I will newer eat it) but she said was very good.

I usually get a quick bite to eat here when !'m busy in the Royal Festival Hall attending some event or the other here.

Most of the time we were going nonstop from place to place, so the meals they sold to go were a lifesaver (I loved the spice of each meal). 100% recommended.

Visitamos hoy. El personal desinteresado y carecía de habilidades de servicio al cliente y las mesas estaban sucias. No hay mucho que presumir. Teniendo en cuenta esta rama está en una ubicación privilegiada que realmente necesitan su juego en el juego de limpieza y de servicio al cliente. No visitará o recomendar.

Cuando recibí mi cambio (1 panini, pequeña ensalada y una botella de agua) me sorprendió lo poco estaba fuera de £20. No recibo ofrecieron así que regresé y registramos los precios en la estantería como el panini era estar tostado. El servidor vimos como yo mentalmente la factura y luego ascendían admitió que él había cobrado por dos ensaladas. Yo espero realmente que fue un error genuino!

Minha primeira refeição em Londres. Tinha que ser algo rápido e farto, pois a fome apertava. Bom e barato. Rede de fast food saudável com opções de café da manhã, almoço ou jantar. Super recomendo!

One of the best places to grab a sandwich on the southbank. Its not too pricey and has lots of choices, they do tend to sell out of things by late afternoon. On a nice day you can sit outside.

Dropped I here for a coffee while out exploring decided to have a sandwich. Excellent value for money. Very busy.

Hacía un calor sofocante en el South Bank y practicado en aquí para tomar una bebida. Extraño que el lugar estaba vacío pero todavía parecía desordenado. Sin embargo, había aire acondicionado! La felicidad! Un oasis de aire fresco! Aaahhhh.

El mango y lima hielo batido es realmente buena, pero los bocadillos en paquetes son correosos. tienen fruta fresca.

Rede com refeições leves, café, bolinhos e onde pode-se fazer escolhas mais saudáveis.Opção por comer lá ou levar.

Terrible. Bacon roll was like eating cardboard. Hot chocolate... well chocolate was at bottom of cup. Avocado toast disgusting. And very expensive

We usually call in here prior to visiting the theatre as it is quick and easy. The salads are not bad, the newly introduced hot meals are an improvement-we had the Thai chicken curry, quite tasty. I agree with others who complained about cleanliness, it doesn't take much to clean up after those customers who cannot be bothered to deposit their finished containers in the rubbish receptacles.

We stopped here for a coffee and managed to get a table outside despite the good weather. It's a great spot for people watching and to recharge before moving on. The coffee was nothing special, and we were disappointed with the choice of ice cream. Fortunately there was a ice cream van outside so went there instead.

We stopped here for mornign refreshments after the London Eye. It was awful! We walked into what can only be described as a warzone. The tables and chairs were a mess, and the tables were dirty and laiden with dirty cups etc. We found abtable against the wall which had coffee stains up the wall. I have no idea first how they got there or secondly why they are there, Health and hygiene would have a field day in there. The station with napkins, milk and stirrers was disgusting with hot drinks spilt all over the floor. There wasn't anybody wiping or clearing the tables or washing the floor. We only had a coffee and cookie but would never eat in such a dirty place. It was disgusting and didn't want to touch anything.

I had a simple black coffee which was fine and dandy.But my 2 younger friends wanted beer and why not it was a sorching hot day! so they had to wait around until the clock stuck twelve - after all we are in England.They decided not to eat as most items had sold out, and they said there was no use me looking for Gluten free.

É habito dos londrinos levar comida para o escritório ou fazer uma refeição rápida. No Eat você pode escolher entre sanduiches, comida japonesa, frutas, sobremesas e algumas comidas quentes, tudo isso por um preço baixo, para quem quer comer e sair rapidamente.

Based at the bottom floor of the southbank centre along the bank of the Thames, surrounded by restaurants and culture. The location is splendid. The style of Eat is canteen ish. You grab prepacked sandwiches, rolls, salads etc. Bottled drinks, and a few pies and thing from the counter. No table service. We ate outside. My boxed chicken salad was very nice with fresh crisp ingredients. My partner had a ham and cheese baguette. We had a bag of overpriced and under flavoured crisps. Reasonable price considering the location. Would recommend.

Great view and good food, But man oh man the staff and pushy travellers around. Suprised some didnt get a sock to the mouth. The location is great overlooking the Thames and various buildings, however when it becomes busy its like being in the chinese buffet during chinese new year, madness. Eat has delicious sandwiches and take away food great for the modern traveller.

Posto carino,con dolci,insalate,panini freschi e un pó strani.Tutto sommato luogo adatto per un pranzo semplice,veloce e pulito.

Se voce vai ao Royal Festival ou está passeando pela margem do Tâmisa é uma opção para sanduiches e saladas , A rede está por toda a cidade.

Estava muito cheio, não entendi, as filas eram grandes, mas o serviço era rápido, não fiquei lá, preferi comer andando para aproveitar os poucos dias que faltavam para ir embora.

런던아이를 기다리며 먹기위한 간단한 저녁을 주문했다.따듯한 샌드위치와 차가운샌드위치를 샀고 맛은 기대 이상이였다. 비교하자면 프렛타망제보다 퀄리티면에서 나았다. 테라스에서 식사한다면 멋진뷰는 보너스다.

I was having a very pleasant day walking down the southbank when I thought I's stop for breakfast as it was 10am. I ordered a bacon roll, a peanut butter millionaires pot thing and an orange and mango drink. When I got to the til and ordered a bacon sandwich the woman behind theist serving me shouted "no! I've got no bacon! Oh wait yes I do, that's fine!" In quite a harsh manner which I thought was a bit much for this time of the morning to be in such a mood. The man behind me had the same reaction to asking for a bacon sandwich although apparently I had taken the last of the bacon. When getting to the tables they were dirty and covered in crumbs, are there no cleaners in this joint? I opened my bacon roll and it was stone cold, both the roll and the bacon, I had to smother it in HP sauce just for it to taste ok. Then I opened my drink which I can only describe as orange coloured water with bits, very tasteless with no hint of mango or orange. The millionaires pot, probably named just on the price of it, was adequate but didn't taste of peanut butter. Hopefully another stroll down the southbank will put me back in a better mood!

We had great fish and chips, busy worth the wait, lots to choose from, very good. Would recommend it.

The EAT chain is great for on the go snacks. This RFH EAT is no exception other than it is busy busy busy. However the guys are quick I their service, friendly and helpful and hold it together amazingly.

Had breakfast here, sandwiches were fresh and tasty enough, fruit salad ok, well priced. Not much in the way of ambience outside.

Good selection from sandwiches, soups, pies etc. Plenty of seating either indoors or out. Good ratio of staff on so did not have to wait. Big plus, they have toilets, as you walk on the door far right hand corner which is a bonus whether you're a customer or not.

Com um grande número de mesas e cadeiras, a Eat é uma excelente opção a qualquer hora do dia. Mesmo nos horários de maior movimento, as filas nos caixas são perfeitamente possíveis de se esperar. Apesar do aspecto industrial, as saladas e os sanduíches são bem saborosos.

We visited for a quick pre-theatre lunch on a busy Saturday and were pleasantly surprised- great choice of really fresh food, decent coffee and good service. Prices not bad either! There are toilets now which were clean but what impressed us the most was witnessing a member of staff cleaning the baby highchairs and scrubbing the harnesses - a lot of other establishments would do well to follow suit! Would definitely visit again.

Amazingly as this may sound, I was quite surprised when the waitress informed they had no toilets. Sandwiches a bit spicy and service OK.

EAT offers a good menu for a quick lunch, you do not have to wait till the order is processed, you just have to pick up the items you wish to buy and get it billed, if you wish to eat in you can else an instance take away.

For a sandwich shop Eat offers an innovative selection and the food is consistently tasty and filling.

Six of us ate a breakfast here one Saturday morning. Whilst the coffee was fine, my bacon sandwich tasted like the bread was made of cardboard.The seating is not very comfortable, basically it is a "McDonalds" type sandwich shop! My wife had some nice porridge and the others thought it was ok but in future I will search out a local café with a bit of character and comfy seats a bit more off the beaten track.

Pret is ok but EAT is the best fresh fast food place on earth. We frequent this EAT as well as many other locations, and their food is consistently delicious and fresh. Ham and jarlsberg sandwich is amazing, and their cookies are fantastic. If you're looking for something fast, cheap, and easy, EAT is the place!

I visited EAT with two Vegan friends and found things for them to eat no problem! Sandwiches were nicely made and staff very friendly.

Great for takeaway, with a nice mix of already made salads and sandwiches. Hot specials each day including meat and veggie pies. Pretty fast in and out as well. Excellent choice of crisps!

In a great location following a walk down Southbank from borough Market in the wind and rain. Nice warm welcome and a free coffee if you purchased a cookie which is cheaper than buying a coffee alone! - cant quiet understand that!

Eat at the South Bank is more a cafe than restaurant. It serves sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee. Eating in was OK but cakes were average (carrot cake very dry). This is not a place I would choose to make an effort to go back to as it is not particularly clean. Tables were left uncleared all the time we were there.

EAT at Shore ditch products ok , Coffee great , staff nice but tables filthy and eventually I went and found a spray bottle cloth and organised my own table much to the staffs horror.However what was worrying was after much apology from the manager to me he then went off to mess about with paper work leaving the other 15+ plus tables very dirty .Ps there were around ten other customers in the shop only ..I asked him on departure did I get the job he laughed and said yes !...however the tables remained filthy

Souvent bondé, difficile de trouve une place pour manger. Grand choix de sandwich, soupe, salades et dessert. Les plats ne sont ni bon, ni mauvais, mais les associations peuvent surprendre et c'est souvent épicée. Café et thé de bonne qualité.Bruyant et pas de toilettes la plupart du temps. Il doit surement y avoir mieux pour manger sur le pouce ;)

i have called the cuisine American as the ubiquitous coffee served up at Eat is based on the Starbucks model. The coffee was fine and welcome - once one had negotiated the layers of air blasted froth to actually get to the bit one had paid for. Lord only knows what one gets if one orders a small cappuccino - there must be a microscopic amount of actual drinkable material in the cup. My main ire though is reserved for the method of service, not since a visit to a rather gloomy Prague back in 1987 have I encountered such an example communism in action - one queues to pay for ones drinks and then, with no queue system in sight, one bundles around a serving area where one communicates ones order to the servers.No queueing system ie those usual self serving individuals who think that they are more important than others (memo: you are not). A smidgeon of actual drinkable material ie ripped off. Not good enough, not acceptable, Eat needs a trip to the gulag for re education I think....
