Nice restaurant, feels like being in New York. A place that mainly offers meat, we tried the flat iron steak (14 pounds), which was good. The other courses were also well presented. Price below the London average, trained and very precise staff. They offer popcorn at the table and also ice cream to eat after the check outside the restaurant.

I went a couple days ago and was given top tier service by Roberto and Nicole. They went above and beyond for me and my girlfriend and we really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service.

I made a reservation for 4 o'clock that morning. Staff friendly. If you ask for a bill, they bring a card reader. A 12.5% ​​service charge is shown on the receipt, so tip is yours. Toilet is clean. Lots of takeout customers.

Great food, but a special shoutout to Abs for top-tier service—went above and beyond to save my table and order when I had to rush off for a minor emergency briefly, legend.

Turned up without a reservation on a busy Monday but they squeezed me into a 75-min gap. Free popcorn was good but kinda redundant as the food arrived startlingly soon after I ordered it. Flatiron steak hadn't been rested so was in a big pool of blood, but tasty enough. Chips were good. Baked aubergine with tomato, basil and mozzarella was better. Nice (if slightly pricey) glass of Nero d'Avolo to go with it. Well fed and out of there in about 40 minutes. Efficient but still friendly staff. Would happily go back.

Mia our waitress was fantastic for a friendly made some recommendations clearly knew her stuff regarding the menu and what was going on with the food Ice cream was the highlight of the evening and was free after the meal 🥰 I would go again.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time in this restaurant. Steak and atmosphere were top notch. Also, Nikol was very nice and amazing. She was very engaging, making sure that we could have a great time while we were there.

Last minute walk in and sat us quickly. Food came fast and it was absolutely delicious. Wagyu skirt steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection and pairing it with the bone marrow mashed potatoes and the truffle Mac and cheese was the way to go. Others had the burger and fries and enjoyed it as well. Service was great. All around great experience and would definitely recommend. The ice cream at the end was the best way to cap off the night.

Wow, Wow, Wow. What an experience. We just landed in London and wanted a quick bite. This place had the best score on Google, always a good way to find a good restaurant. They exceeded our expectations by far, and the prices are super reasonable. We had the Wagyu Sirloon and the house steake and added the dripping fries (beef fat...) and the mashed potato with bone morrow. Everything was fantastic. You also get complementary ice cream as a desert. All in less than 55 GBP. A special thanks to Jay and Alice. Highly recommended

Loved this. After a show at the Union Theatre, just what we needed. Beef at it's simplest and best (used to breed cows). Fantastic creamed spinach. Best ever. Love the ice cream deal. How much does it save on time and washing up. From one of the ice cream loving birthday girls.

My mum and I love Flat Iron! The food is so good and so well prepared! 😍 the Mac & Cheese is to die for and the salad. On top of the amazing food, the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Florin was so kind and friendly, making conversation with us and understood my mums joke - for when waiters picks up our plates, she’ll say “I don’t like it!” Obviously being sarcastic but some waiters don’t understand , but Florin relied back “I can see 😆” . Thank you so much for a lovely experience as always guys!

Great steak, great sides. The truffle mac & cheese is definitely a standout for me. The complimentary popcorn and ice cream are amazing extra little touches. Really well thought out, could eat here everyday.

Came for dinner 2 weeks ago with a friend and had a lovely evening. Great food and service from Chris and the other man who served us. Steak was beautiful and cocktails were brill. Will definitely be coming back.

I am very satisfied with the Visit. Food was served very quickly and the FOH member Augusteen was very patient with a majority of my party running late and reassured me that with the quick service we’d still have enough time to enjoy the food. Which we in fact did! Great quality steak and the sides were splendid. Definite recommend the “ Crispy Bone Marrow Mash” I believe it’s a new addition the menu and it really lives up to the name, And the night’s special “Wagyu steak” - you always leave a flat iron feeling pleasantly full! Whilst only spending a fraction of the price in comparison to other steak houses. Not to mention the free ice cream provided at the end of each experience aswell. This branch specifically provided a private room for 10 people with no additional cost which made the experience even better considering it was for a Birthday celebration. The atmosphere and specifically the music that night was also quite great and set good vibe for the evening. Big thumbs up and will be book again here in the future.

Went to flat iron Waterloo last night, was served by chris. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. I’ve been to flat iron many times but my friend hadn’t so he explained the menu and the different cuts of steak. And even recommended his favourite drink for us to try. The apple and rhubarb fizz. That was great! Food was good as usual. Thank you Chris and team!

A lovely casual steak place. I was actually really surprised how good the £14 flat iron steak was, definitely an absolute bargain! Some great wine choices and I loved the free ice cream! Can't wait to come back.

You always know what you're gonna get with Flat Iron - good food (although I always find nothing is piping hot) and good prices. Service is really friendly & attentive, and the free ice cream is the BEST touch

Great food, amazing service. It can get crowded, especially at peak hours- recommend a reservation for larger groups. Servers are knowledgeable, the menu is tight, and the meat outstanding. Do one thing and do it well. Flat Iron Waterloo is definitely worth another visit.

The restaurant had a busy atmosphere at 2 p.m. The service was very good, unobtrusive but easy to request. The flatiron steaks were tender and tasty, if a little on the small side. The fries were fine, the mash very tasty and the aubergine tasty but I don't think it goes well with the steak. The 'free' ice cream on the way out was an ok Mr Whippy type. Good value for an evening meal, but maybe a little pricey for a lunchtime.

I’m from Miami Florida, just had the house steak. It was the best steak I’ve had since 2013. Our server Christopher was absolutely amazing, made sure we were taken care of and our glasses were full. Great environment, great vibes, absolutely great food. If you have the chance please go and get some food here.

As rumored, it is really good value for money. I visited this branch because it was nearby my accommodation, and even though it was a weekday, I waited for about 40 minutes in the evening. I was able to leave my name and number and wait. We highly recommend the truffle macaroni cheese menu as a side menu. The staff's service was all so good that I left the meal in a good mood.

I’ve always wanted to try this place but could never find the time—it’s always busy for a good reason! I visited on a Thursday night and waited around 30–40 minutes. The service was fantastic—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. The steak was cooked to perfection, and we ordered the smashed bone and macaroni as well. The mac and cheese was absolutely incredible—I’m completely obsessed! Everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. And free ice cream after!!!! I can see why this spot is so popular! The prices are very reasonable, too. Highly recommend it!

Our party of 4 turned up at around 7 on Saturday Evening with no reservation and were seated right away. Mia served us and I must say she is an absolute asset to the flat iron team, she knew the menu inside out and explained to us how it worked. Food was delicious and we didn't wait long, reasonable pricing too especially for the location, the Mac Cheese with Truffles was to die for, clean restaurant, loved the ice cream at the end of our meal. Will be back 100% lovely dining experience 👌

10 out of 10!!! As soon as we entered the door, the customer service was top tier which really set the mood as we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The gentleman that made sure we had a nice seat, as we requested, I think he was wearing a black shirt that evening not sure if he was the manager or not but you really made our evening special, we are very grateful for your service and the rest of the staff. I really didn't know what to expect but I must say the food was delicious ordered the flat iron steak and the bottle of Chenis Blanc surprisingly went so well with the food. We had the bone marrow mash, the chips and truffle Mac and cheese. The peppercorn sauce, blew our minds away we have tried so many peppercorn sauces and usually disappointed but my husband and I looked at each other nodding our heads in excitement. Then to top it up the complimentary Ice cream. We had such a fun evening very different from what we usually do but we are so happy we picked this restaurant and branch. We loved every minute of it and will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Steaks were delivered to the table to all our requirements, quickly. All we're very good and tender although not sure the sauce was really necessary as the steaks were well seasoned.

Delicious steak, great value for money. Very nice staff and efficient service. Very clean restaurant. I’d recommend the wild mushroom sauce it was so nice! Also the ice cream was soo good. My partner and I were so happy walking home with it hahaha. Great way to end our date night!

I would go again for sure! Very good atmosphere and people very friendly, always with a smile. I had the wagyu steak and enjoyed the quality, as well as the coocking. Exactly the way I wanted it. Same goes for both other flat iron steaks for the Mrs. and my daughter. Was still a bit hungry though and also tried the burger. We all enjoyed it. Extremelly juicy and tastefull. Selection of beer is also very good. A bit pricey for my budget though, hence the 4 overall stars.

The service was great as was the food. We where a large group and they managed to stay on top of all our requests.

First time at Flat Iron and overall a great experience. Delicious food for everyone’s pockets although I do not understand why they only let you dine for 1-2 hours only. We’ve had a really great time here with my friend but the steak could’ve been way hotter and they could consider letting you having the ice cream indoors rather than freezing outside with your hand on the cone. I probably had here the best mac and cheese and mash potatoes, so will definitely be looking to return.

Delightful staff, delicious and reasonably priced food. We had the Flat Iron, the burger, chips, and mushroom sauce plus drinks. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a good steakhouse in London- don’t be like us and waste time with a fine dining place, just go to Flat Iron instead.
