The usual good experience from a flat iron restaurant. This one is spacious with plenty of seating and is in a very nice location. Definitely worth a visit for its side dishes and the steak is mostly tender and of good quality. Instead of a Scottish bavette, this restaurant has the option of sirloin instead.

Alice was amazing! She served me and my friend and was super pleased with her service. She was so friendly and helpful when needed. Would recommend 100% and would definitely return to this branch specifically.

Phenomenal service from the wonderful waiter Roberto! I dined here for my boyfriend’s birthday and from start to finish, we were taken well care of. Thumbs up for atmosphaire, cosyness, fantastic personel, on time everything, crystal clear & short menu , nice prices but then its the serious question like.. " what does the food looks like?". Well long story short its one of those places where kid is just satisfied only with the free ice cream at the end. So ,ya.. not the place for 11 year olds.

I went to the Tottenham branch and went there too. You might not be able to understand the server’s pronunciation, but ㄱㅊ… As expected, it was delicious. I chose mushroom sauce and chili mayo sauce, but I personally think chili mayo tastes better (it balances out the flavor).

We visited on 8/3/25 and what a visit! My husband and I had visited before another location but Saturday was the day to take our 7 year old son! Now the food was amazing service speedy! However what made it really special was Chris! He was kind, friendly, attentive and chatty- but the good kind of chatty! Chris truly went above and beyond to make Freddies dirt experience nothing but 11/10! A bag of popcorn to go and spare ice cream token which he has shown to absolutely anyone who he can! Thank you so much Chris there’s doing your job and then there’s DOING your job!

His signature knife steak is tender and juicy, the heat is just right, and the meat is fragrant in the mouth. And the price is very affordable. You can enjoy delicious steak for just over ten pounds. In a high-consumption city like London, the price-performance ratio is simply amazing! The side dishes are also outstanding, the cheese pasta is super stringy and rich in flavor. After finishing the steak, you can exchange the steak knife for ice cream, which is sweet and delicious, and is the perfect ending to this delicious meal. Honestly the best staff ever. I was fasting and the food came 10 mins earlier before i could eat and they replaced it for me. The food is amazing, highly recommend the wagyu. Nikol is a queen. Give Nikol a raise !!!!

Mandatory stop every time I visit London. Spectacular food, very friendly and super fast service (even on a Saturday night when it was packed). More than reasonable price considering the quality. Correct amount to stay good with just meat and some potatoes. They also give you ice cream for dessert. I have tried different flat irons in London and they are always spectacular regardless of which one you go to. Also, I arrived a little late and they didn't give me any problems despite it being Saturday night and being full. If I go back to London, I will come back for sure. Nicole was very friendly and efficient in service. Thank you!

We loved this flat iron, I have been to many flat irons in town and this one is by far my favorite layout and design! The food was the same as other locations but KoKo our waiter was great and very lively. I think that’s my favorite part of this restaurant, unlike other restaurants in London where you have good food and low par service, flat iron is always consistent in both! We love our time there and it’s always a treat!

Flat iron is one of our favorite date night places to go eat at! We just ate at the Waterloo location and We had a waiter named Koko who served us exceptionally well! Highly recommend the food it’s always so good!

I would agree with previous positive reviews about this steak house. Although I don't eat steak I went along with a couple of friends who wanted to give this place a try. I thought there would be something of an alternative for me but the choice was very limited. Nevertheless, I enjoyed a sort of aubergine lasagne (I am not a vegetarian by the way). My friends said that the steaks they ordered had been cooked to perfection and were thoroughly enjoyed. The service was faultless and we didn't wait long for our meals. Nevertheless, the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time (3:30pm on a Tuesday). Can the service be as good when there's a crowd of hungry diners eager to get their teeth into a bit of bully? The atmosphere was quite pleasant. They appear to have gone for a rustic and spartan layout so there's no frilly tablecloths or fancy chandeliers. However, one of the staff came round and put candles on our table which was a nice touch. I'll remember The Flat Iron for the next time my beloved Missus says she feels like a nice steak. (PS. It's strange that they don't serve hot drinks. I suppose you can't have everything).

got asked 3 times in the space of 20 minutes (from when my food arrived) if i was finished. i don’t know if the staff were trying to rush me out but it wasn’t busy at all.

Very good experience. Fast service We ate very well. Reduced menu, you have to like good meat...which is our case! Meals for 2 adults and 2 children. (No kids menu) total £110 for 4 courses and 4 drinks. Please note that to finish your meal you receive a token to exchange for an ice cream cone (homemade Italian ice cream) I recommend the mash as a side dish and the tangy mayo sauce. The small downside is that it is quite noisy.

Very tasty food and exceptional service - Roberto was lovely and attentive, he also noticed that it was birthday when he checked my ID so at the end of our meal he brought me a little treat with a candle and sang happy birthday - lovely gesture and great attention to detail! The prices are also surprisingly low for such high quality food. Definitely will be coming back for another steak and to trade in my mini cleaver for an ice cream 🍦

Went here with a few friends, loved the vibe and my waiter Morgan who greeted us with a smile as soon as we came through the door, she was a lovely individual paying attention to our steak preferences. Would recommend going here!

Wow! What a gem! Steam was so flavorful, juicy! As sides we got the potato mash with garlic butter and “parmigiana” . We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service was fast and lovely! Would definitely recommend! Get the mushrooms sauce with your steak!
