The food was good and we were not waiting long considering how busy it was. However, there was a young blonde girl behind the counter, in the kitchen who had her long hair down and was continually touching her hair and playing with it. Then she would serve food. This put us off our lunch. All other members of staff had hair tied back.

Visited today for the first time as shopping in Dunelm and thought would try the cafe on going to the till the young girl appeared to not know what she was doing her customer service wasn’t great blank expressions and seemed to find it difficult. we were then served by someone else who took our order and then just walked off leaving us waiting to pay. The other girl made a comment like she doesn’t what she is doing along those lines. Both ourselves and another lady ordered a scone they were hard and dry so had to ask to swap it apparently we weren’t the only ones with this issue today. The tables were unclean and not cleared there appeared lots of staff but very slow. Positive the toasted sandwiches were nice and the coffee was hot just a shame that when we were served felt like more of a problem and the plates just slammed in front of us. No serviettes either so blue roll was the only available option the staff appeared to not be bothered Overall a poor experience which could be so much better given the space and custom not a visit we will be doing again to this cafe

I noticed that this cafe had been refurbished we loved it before so went n had a hot drink and cake.While paying for it u couldn’t hear what the lady on the till was saying because of the noise coming from the kitchen.while sat down having a drink the banging from the kitchen of plates and cups or whatever they were throwing n banging about that was horrendous even the customers next too us wasn’t very impressed.I for one won’t be returning too this cafe.kitchen staff need a lesson too refrain from banging n being so loud in there.Not a pleasant experience at all

Popped in to the cafe for a drink and slice of cake whilst shopping. The girl behind the till (Lily) took our order and we joined a couple of other people who were waiting for their orders. The girl was yawning away and rubbing her eyes with no interaction with customers at all. Drinks were plonked down but no one called out to say who’s/what they were. Felt sorry for the young guy making the drinks, he was struggling to keep up with the orders and she just stood there staring at him. The person behind us in the queue was then given her drinks after a long wait but we were still waiting. We had to remind them several times what our order was and when we said we were disappointed as most others in the queue were with the service, Lily rolled her eyes at us and pulled a face. Absolutely appalling customer service and I think some more training is required for her. We then sat down for our drinks but was still waiting on our toasted fruit bread. We had to go up again to remind this Lily who then went over to the other lady to tell her to put it on! Completely forgotten and complete lack of effort and no apology. Will not be visiting again!!

Pausa Cafe inside dunelm, just been renovated to more than twice the size. Looks great, very modern, coffee and cakes were really nice but service was excruciatingly slow. We waited 25mins in a queue of 4 other people just ordering hot drinks. The Cafe wasn't mega busy, hopefully just teething problems after refurb.

Tried the new cafe in Dunelm Fareham. Won’t be going back there. Three young people working however only one taking orders and then making drinks to order. Very slow. No customer interaction. The till area is so cramped. No where to place the tray and you have to lean over other customers to use the card machine. Finally got served and our drinks were luke warm. So disappointed. Preferred the layout of the previous cafe. Sorry you have lost three regular customers. Who ever designed the cafe has no idea - it’s dreadful.

french onion soup was just like tasteless gravy and i expected a lovely cheese crouton on the top. not hot enough tomato and basil soup needed a little sugar to offset the acidity. part time young lady who served us is a credit to your company.

I was 'taken' to Dunelm, Titchfield when my wife and I were minding our granddaughter. I normally avoid shopping trips but a visit to the onsite Pausa cafe really brightened my day. The coffee was of excellent quality/flavour and far better than I have found in well known high street cafes. Food and service were also good.

Decided to take the kids here and have some lunch, as near by, I’m so disappointed and would not recommend at all! Kids meals so bad my eldest didn’t have anything and he isn’t picky at all. I had a jacket potato and it was horrendous, never have I been served one this horrible. Wasn’t even a full potato! No salad or side and so burnt on the bottom. Looked a sorry state! The guy on the till kept telling us half the drinks on the kids meal shelf weren’t allowed and then charged me for three drinks!!! I tried to explain but he had no interest in it and just wasn’t getting it. Will never return!

It takes over an hour to walk on hilly roads to get to this cafe from where I live. You can’t get there with one bus, unfortunately. I was visiting a Dunelm shop and I noticed that there’s a cafe. Thought I’ll ask if they do an oat coffee as I recently found out I’m allergic to milk. I was happy to hear they have a milk alternative available and saw their beautiful cakes that looked so fresh. I’m very picky when it comes to a coffee and food. And the sales lady said that the chocolate cake is vegan friendly. I haven’t had a cake for a while because it’s difficult to find a freshly baked high quality cake without milk in it. It was such a lovely experience, I really didn’t expect. It’s the second day off in a row I’m visiting this coffee place, staff is professional and knowledgeable too, good service. Definitely coming back here.

Service lovely, the girls so nice and friendly. The food was very good really enjoyed. Taken Mum back a couple of times. Would definitely be a regular!!

Family trip out, Awful milkshake felt like drinking syrup. Lattes were terrible. Cannot recomend this place. We wont be back.

Love their goulash soup shame it is not on the menu 24/7. :The breakfast baps are fantastic as well and the staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Waiting in the que to be served there was only a few table available with all the recent Eaters food still on them this was about 15 mins asking the lady would it be possible to clean the tables she replied ok .sat down on a dirty table waited still no clear up so I went to the kitchen and asked the lady in there said I am busy cooking 8 mins later she came out cleaned our table but left the rest food bits on floor . Rant over but I will not be going back

We always enjoyed our breakfast at Pausa many times. The breakfast offer is value for money especially the bacon butties. Sometimes the cafe is full but that's not a problem because we can always look around.

Somewhat overpriced and had to clean our own table before sitting down. Ordered 2 snacks, which came out about 10 minutes apart - one was a sandwich, one a toasted bun - not exactly difficult to time together. Coffee was warm as opposed to hot. Staff didn't smile, chat. engage with, or inspire joy.

Arrived for lunch about 1. All of the tables had dirty cups and plates which hadn't been cleared so you had to clear yourself a spot. The tea and coffee were served in paper cups, juice in plastic cups and sandwichew served on paper plates. They could have provided a bin for you to clear up afterwards as it was all recyclable

Lovely fresh sandwich and tasty lemon and blueberry biscuits with hot coffee. No wonder there is always a queue!

Always good service food and drink excellent, First call when in Southampton, And good value, Excellent parking.

We always go to Huntingdon dunelm because it has this lovely tea shop...not all dunelm have them...the fruit bread is to die for and the coffee is good...staff always friendly.

This little cafe is great, nice cakes and other easy snacks. The value is reasonable and there's always a seat. The tricky thing is that the service at the till is often really slow and in addition to that sometimes the coffee is merely warm. I'm sure these things can be rectified without any problem. The staff are very pleasant but ultimately speed of service and quality need to be right.

Popped in to have a browse lovely coffee and cake in the cafe. Friendly and helpful staff as I am gluten free.

Just been in for a coffee and waited over ten minutes to be served only 1 person serving making drinks and two people in the kitchen not helping whilst a large queue was forming no apology from staff member just a "I'm going as fast as I can "Unfortunately gave up waiting and went else where

Needed to pop in to the loo and thought it a great reason to have a coffee and cake. And this place is great for it loads of choice good coffee and drinks. All nice and fresh and the strawberry cake was to die for. Staff are really friendly too

Fine for a sit down and light refreshments whilst shopping.I had a Sausage bap which was very good, Mrs Midge had a toasted sandwich which she liked as well so all was good.A little confusing to order because you don't see the menu until the queue is at the food order point, if you then decide to have a sandwich you will have passed then and there will now be people behind you. In my opinion it could be laid out better but what do I know.Nice if shopping in the store but perhaps not a destination in its own right.

Stopped here as wanted a coffee, then was tempted to have a lunch.Nicely served and presented. Reasonably priced.Recommended.

It is too cold in the restaurant have asked for air conditioning to be turned down to no avail! ! I'm too cold to enjoy my breakfast! it's only 15 outside it's like Antarctica in here! ! tooooo coooold

My first visit, a lovely shop with plenty of choice, lots of bargains too.Mainly kitchen and Bathroom, haberdashery, lighting and giftware. Some furniture too.An excellent Cafe, with a decent choice of snacks and light meals.a very enjoyable shopping trip.

I have been here couple of times now - friendly staff, well run and clean.The menu is restricted but most people would find something they like - love being able to sit up top and view the below trading area...

Have been here a couple of times, they have a limited menu which is sufficient if you do not have any special needs such as gluten free, however saying that the staff do go out of their way to be helpful, my wife wanted a salad which they do not advertise. however they produced a prawn salad that she was very happy with. would definitely visit again. Prices are reasonable.

We have tried quite a lot of the food in here and all has been okay. The cakes are the best items they sell, along with a coffee. The only item I wouldn't recommend is the minestrone soup, it wasn't great but may have changed recipe now.

Me and my friend Shirley always go here after gym, its a lovely coffee shop with amazingly friendly staff; Inga, Klaudia and John. They always make us feel so welcome and put a smile on our faces during our visit. Honestly, I can't explain how much I love this cafe and its staff. The mood and drinks are also lovely. 10/10 from both me and my friend

Really great cafe in a shop, a must visit if your near the shop. Food is prepared in some cases onsite and staff are always very jolly.

Met a friend for coffee and had lunch instead as it smelt great.Nice soup, reasonabe hot chocolate if rather too sweet, lovely cake selection. Service was very good.If they sort out the "instant" chocolate I would have rated them 5.

My mother and I use this cafe every time we visit Dunelm Mill, and I must say they never let us down. The staff are all very friendly, and happy. Their coffee is very good. They have a very good selections of Sandwiches, and Toasties.Would highly recommend this cafe.

Nice place foe a coffee while shopping. Staff were friendly, coffee nice and not overpriced and the stick chocolate and orange cake was excellent.

On going to Dunelm mill in Fareham to do so shopping we went for a coffee in there in store coffee shop Pausa.The staff were very friendly and served us with a smile.The coffee was good very good better than costa even.we will pop in again if we visit again.keep up the good work.

Nice food but a bit overpriced for what it was. They could do with a few more vegetarian options. A nice selection of cakes.

stopped for a coffee whilst shopping in store not very busy but the service was very slow had already drunk most of the coffee by the time toasted tea cake arrived??

Very impressed with the staff very helpful also witnessed them deal with a problem with another couple problem dealt with quickly and effieciently with apology I would visit again

I use the Pausa Cafe at Dunelm about once a month (we both have a coffee and cake and I sit with a larger coffee whilst my better half wanders the shelves etc!). Its about time I did a review because they have consistently offered a great range of cakes (more like a French Patisserie at times) and, of particular mention, the staff are always so good. All the staff at Dunelm are good humoured and helpful but the ladies at the cafe are just superb and their good service deserves a mention. Even at busy times they have a smile and pay close attention to customers' needs. Well done Dunelm. I don't know what it is that you do for/to your staff to make them as they are but whatever it is, it makes going there a real pleasure. PS I haven't had one but I hear they also do a mean bacon buttie!

For an in store cafe at Dunelm Mill, Pausa provides an ideal retreat from the "joys" of shopping! There is a limited choice of food available, but what we had was fresh, hot and served by pleasant staff.The coffee was piping hot.The toilets serve the whole store, but were clean, although no hot water.We would use Pausa whether we were shopping at Dunelm or not. There are several large stores nearby, but only a burger van as an alternative.
