great kebab every time favourite people ever

Dude lone working in 30 degree heat smashing it out. But still give use amazing food, big love in this heat 🔥

Great customer service and portions

Food never turned up but they still took the money for it from my card , order was processing for 3-4 hours. Tried doing it with both card and cash through mine and my fiancés phone , at 3am he got a confirmation email ( he picked cash ) but obviously we still didnt get our food

Updating my review from the previous 1 star. I tried here again last night 12/02/2024 and I can honestly say quality of the food has improved. Kebab wasn't greasy, chicken was cooked perfectly only thing I would suggest to the kebab house is it they could make the mushrooms chunkier in the chicken special. Other than that well done guys. Really enjoyed the food and it's a massive improvement from last year.

The staff is very rude and was making racial jokes when I went in and laughed out loud. Really pathetic. Never going back again

Quick delivery. We ordered 2 large kebabs. The meat was like cut offs. Cooked again from the night before. The pitta breads were swimming in grease. The chips were cooked again from the night before. So, you can guess where it all went!!! IN THE BIN. Never ordering from them again.

The guy on the phone needs to chill out and not be so rude. Food average considering the lack of Urgency to place your order. Probably ok if you have done 9 pints and not too fussy. Better options out there.

Awful!! Never come here. They are abusing and threatening to customers. My father in law couldn’t get past on his wheelchair due to their parking. My mother in law got shouted out called names. Absolutely unacceptable and intimidating to a women on her own. Disgusting behaviour.

We're regulars and never had a problem. Tonight was not good. In fact it puts us off wanting to go back. Prices have gone up and quality gone down. £13.50 for chicken shish and Turkish rice would have been okay if the quality was good. However, chicken burnt and dry, and rice was plain boiled rice, no chickpeas in it like there usually is, and no yellow pieces in it like usual. All of Pitta breads were cold and un cooked. The doner kebabs looked like they had been reheated in the microwave, they were so dry. There was so much grease in the boxes too. I'm still cleaning my sides down from the grease. The meals were warm and not hot. What went wrong with you tonight ?? I understand prices go up and I don't mind paying for it, however, I expect the quality to be as good as it's always been if not better. Tonight none of us enjoyed our meal, in fact most of it has gone in the bin, I doubt wild animals would even eat it. Not sure whether I'll go back here now after this.

Never had a problem til tonight. No sign of food two hours in. Not picking up phone either . Very disappointed 😞

I keep coming back to this place cus of the great friendly service and staff. They put up with a lot of us when it's late and we've had a good few drinks and still are lovely when they see us in the day. Great quality kebabs.

Been using charcoal grill for a while now and can honestly say never had a bad kebab always taste freshly grilled meats the chilli sauce is lovely....there is mot much I cab say other than all my orders it's the same every time of which is the XL mixed grill has always been spot on and has never changed in flavour or portion size ...well done to charcoal grill and whatever your doing ...just do nit change as you have it right at this moment

Ordered from their app/ website at 11:24pm. They happily accepted the money, I then called at around 11:42pm (as the app said it was busy with other orders) they said it's on its way. It now 00:15am tried calling obviously closed. Bad service will no longer order from here.

The last order we had my burgers were burnt the egg was like rubber it also just fell apart as there wss to much sauce on the pizza was not cooked very well either and the gravey was all lumpy the wedges had garlic oill on them and neither of us like garlic any might have to see if there is another place were we can burgers like this im not sure yet but its a shame they have all ways been very nice up untill now

Ordered cheesy chips/Messy Burger Well it looked amazing when it turned up but looks are always very deceiving.. They put Vinager on the reheated crispy chips & the burger was not nice due to the fact is was soggy & inedible in a roll that had a funny taste In future & some feedback OWNERS/MANAGEMENT Please please don’t put Vinager/Salt on chips if not ordered or say on your menu it comes with Salt/Vinager as this breaks Health Hygeine standards adding something that’s not listed esp in a world with so many allegories these days.. Not the worst food but don’t think I’m returning..

Food has always been nice, been going here even when it was bodrums. Delivery normally always great, but I mean guys come on what on earth is this????? Tried to call no answer on the phones just left with this stone cold cheesy garlic overdone toast. I wouldn't of minded but @ £5.50 abit of a waste.

No curry sauce, rang shop and they never dropped it off 1 Pizza burnt! pepperoni snapped in my finger, 1 Pizza raw - dough falling apart. Shame I have been going here for years and this will be my last order here really did not enjoy any of it.

Ordered from here through just eat . When the driver arrived he informed me that his manager had told him to tell me do not order again from here ! Shocking customer service . Apprently it was too far for them .well perhaps you need to change your miles on the app and it wouldn't have suggested you to me .

Burger was hot paid £5! For cheese poppers freezing cold won’t be ordering again

Just got an order I ordered cheese burger asked for fried onion salad no raw onion and burger sauce got the fried onion nothing else and paid 7 quid for nuggets and chips which usually in a large container but came in a burger size tub also a onion ring missing and puddings frozen solid this is the third time and last and still 3.50 short on last order as they didnt have choc gataeu of course they blame uber

Absolutely awesome kebab/burger place on West St in Fareham. Opens late, so a great place to visit post-pub, but unlike a lot of places that cater to a potentially intoxicated clientelle, this place doesn't fob you off with undercooked burgers or greasy kebab meat - the food here is genuinely first rate, whether you're three sheets to the wind after the pub, or dropping by after work to pick up something quick and tasty for your evening meal...

I had a chicken doner ... dry, no flavour, disgusting, went in the bin. Chips didn't arrive with order, had to call & chase them up. When they did arrive ... over cooked and dry. Went in the bin. Salad was fresh and fab 😁 hubby ordered a chicken shish ... he ate the lot but he would eat anything ..... so dont be deceived 🤣 I will NEVER order from here again and await the over night 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩🙀😿☠🥺🥳

Good luck if you order here!! 1st to time customer used the web to order. Straight forward order and I backed up using notes in case they were unclear. Got wrong (no problem it happens). Phoned through to mention errors, no concern given at all or resolution. Even basic levels of customer service missing.

So I ordered online at about half 11 thinking charcoal was open but unfortunately they wasn’t and I should of known that they would finish at 10 due to curfew. I messaged them on Facebook asking about my refund and they did nothing but compensate me, they gave me my money back and £2 more!! with a portion of nachos delivered to my house!! absolutely amazing customer service with lovely people. I regularly get my kebabs here and think everyone else should, big credits to you charcoal grill. By far one of the most friendliest kebabs with good decent food. Thank you

ORDERED HERE SATURDAY HAVENT EATEN SINCE, ITS NOW MONDAY THE DOCOTORS HAVE CONFIRMED FOOD POISONING, STOMACH CRAMPS CANT EVEN HOLD DOWN WATER FROM THROWING UP CONSTANTLY! tried to deal with it on the phone but was told to 'come down and prove it!!!' Disgusting customer care considering I have ordered from them a long time and would have happily taken a refund, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Delivery generally comes fairly quickly, the pizzas are very salty and sometimes undercooked. The lamb chops were very good, the portion size was good and the grilled veggies were very nice. A big plus that it's halal. The fries were a bit off, very hard and generally not nice. Room for improvement

Delivery guy didn't abide by social distancing, tried to hand me my goods. Was obviously out of breath and breathing so heavily close to me. If he is ill,,,, i willnow be ill. No ppe worn. Has made me seriously concerned about the whole saftey procedures they are currently following.

Awful food, Feel like I've just eaten skewered rat! The meat is awful and the salad is slimy 🤮 please avoid unless you are drunk or have no tatse buds. Also please specify you would like your chips to be "perfect" to avoid them being well done.

First of all... Very friendly and helpful delivery driver. He observed the social distancing perfectly, but I respect him a lot for. The food was delicious too! We have two lamb donor kebabs and they were delicious. Also, we had some pita bread with Humous that was fab too. Highly recommended. We ordered via the JustEat app too. Ultra easy!

Love this place, good customer service, very polite and respectable staff, avoid ken's kebab across the road as the gray haired guy customer service skills are terrible as he has a attitude problem and food not cooked properly, Charcoal Grill is excellent fast food service and I would recommend Charcoal Grill to anyone, keep up the good work guys and keep cooking them tasty kebabs and the chillies are lovely, loved them and could eat loads more 😉

We have ordered from The Charcoal Grill regularly for quite some time . Previously we have always been pleased. However recently it has really gone down hill, our food usually turning up cold. This evening our order turned up short of chips. We called them back to inform them and they assured us they were on the way. 20 minutes later my wife rung to ask where the chips were. Again we were assured they were enroute. 15 minutes later (35 minutes since we alerted them to our missing chips) my wife rang again. The man on the end of the phone was defensive and then aggressively said "I'll be delivering your next order!“. Absolutely awful service , both times we complained the driver was blamed! Clearly not his fault, he was given the incorrect address (he was polite and apologetic). Will not be ordering from Charcoal Grill again.

By far the worst take away I have ever ordered if it was possible to give no stars at all I would! Chips were soggy and cold the chicken was absolutely disgusting. £16 for a meal that I ended up throwing into the bin. Never again.

Nice cooked food but ordered food online and they still got it wrong ordered a chicken and lamb kebab and got a lamb kebab wrap phoned up no exchange I think they struggled to understand me

Just used charcoal grill for the first and last time. 45 minute wait for poor quality food. Totally wrong order. No chips and not in pitta bread. Phoned back got a giggling lady with no apology and no compensation. Disgusting food followed by disgusting customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is best Kebab with delivery I had here. Good price as well. Recommend to everybody they have as well application for order.

The food was really nice but after online ordering I had to phone them after three quarters of an hour to find out where my order was. Was told it was on its way. Quarter of an hour later it turned up minus the drinks. Phoned again and halfway through my meal the drinks turned up.

Apparently under new management again, prices seem marginally inflated although this is reflected in an overall increase in the quality of food: cooked much better and fairer portion sizes. If you previously experienced a bad experience with food quality here I would recommend giving them another shot. 5 star relevant to other local kebab shops.
