The best restaurants serving American food in England

Travelling north to Cumbria decided to stop at ok diner at Tickencote for a break on the A1 parked and entered diner was asked to enter reg number in a wall machine apparently for permission to park, staff were welcoming and pleasant, food was ok, stayed about an hour then continued our journey, three weeks later received £100 parking fine through the post, apparently we are not the only ones to have been scammed like this, did not see any warnings anywhere so will in future stay away from ok diners.

I called into this diner for breakfast in September and thoroughly enjoyed the veggie breakfast. Very cheap too. On another trip with a friend in October we again called in for breakfast and she was impressed. Nothing fancy but good, cheap breakfast. Washroom was very clean too. I don't know why people complained about the parking fines as there are signs everywhere warning you and there is a screen on the wall next to where you stand to be seated to enter your details for free parking?

Tasty food but very small portions and all cheap cuts so no excuse for this. Grossly over priced and very mediocre service, will never use again

The All-Day breakfast (with fried bread) was very well-cooked and delicious, and not swimming in grease. Will definitely go back if we are in the area.

Took my Grandson to Rugby in Bath so popped in for something to eat. Saw the mixed reviews so was not sure about the place. However, we had nothing but excellent service. Easy to order from the bar. The internet was working to well to order at the table. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks arrived quickly after ordering. Food was just has quick. Lots of it. Hot and tasty. We both enjoyed the experience. Would go again.

We decided after being Gourmet Burger kitchen regular customers ( in their restaurant ) to order a take away. It arrived after 50 mins via Courier, everything was stone cold and the burgers were a dishevelled mess. £45 of inedible 😬 I called Gourmet burgers to be told they can’t be held responsible and I should take it up with the courier company. They chose to offer this service through this courier company surely they should want their customers to be happy with the food they ordered from them. You should imagine that their reputation for quality food would matter too. 🤔 Very disappointing.

Service staff were great very attentive . Food was awful , beef burnt ends was actually strips of belly fat ! Chicken nugget childs meal was cold & 5 prawns on a fajita meal was the tipping point for us ! Cancelled Pancake House & Rajindas after reading reviews . Lesson learnt, should have done our research ! You can get a refund on bookings if you cancel 12 hours plus before booking time .

Visited yesterday for lunch. I have to say, by far, this is the best Nando's we've ever been to! The food was piping hot and the portions were big. The staff were fantastic, especially the Manager who couldn't do enough for his customers and staff too. Manage to tick a Christmas gift off the list too, from the range of gifts in store. Would highly recommend.

Came in with a few friends for the bottomless brunch. Best food, best staff , continuous drinks! 10/10

Brilliant food and pleasant and helpful staff I would definitely come back great for a family everyone would enjoy especially the chicken burgers

Went in to celebrate a family birthday and the service was utterly appalling. Waitstaff were young, seriously untrained, and more concerned with their social lives than the actual serving of tables. We had to chase them to take a drinks order, never bothered to come back and ask if we wanted any more drinks, they forgot one of the starters, and never bothered to bring our coffees. We had to ask for extra cutlery as there was insufficient on the table, had to chase them to clear the plates away, and when we went to cut the cake we were advised that "they couldn't give us small plates as they didn't have enough available" so dumped us with a pile of napkins off of which to eat cake. We then had to go up to the bar to physically ask for the bill and the girl's answer was "oh, you want to pay?" Seriously? The food was good, but your waitresses are letting you down MASSIVELY.

Staff were very helpful and polite and were joking with our children. Nice atmosphere. Their range of drinks is good and good deals for kids at a very good price.

I recommended to visit the Canary Wharf breakfast club having visited in another location, was very disappointed! Cold, horrible breakfast and the staff were rude when I tried to ask for it to be removed from the bill as my husband could not eat it, it tasted like they had served us someone’s old breakfast :( when the waitress took the plate away no one came to speak to us and once I found someone to eventually bring the bill it had not been removed, no one apologised and to be honest except for one waitress they were all quite rude and abrupt. Would avoid!

Food excellent, adults burgers very juicy and tasty, kids meals were a good size. Staff very attentive with Refills on soft drinks. Only down side to using the app was we had to give a tip every time we ordered something (even just a fruit shoot). We don’t mind tipping but every time was a pain as no option not to tip.

Turned up before 7pm on a Saturday night to be told they arent serving food due to "it's been quiet so we closed kitchen down early" so instead of allowing us to eat they would rather turn us away. When asked what time they normally serve food till they said 8pm so they shut down kitchen more than an hour early which is ridiculous on a Saturday night.
