¡Lamentablemente no volveremos a sentirlo!

Had numerous deliveries via uber to our work place. Sandwiches are slightly expensive but definitely extremely tasty! I'm just sad the duck sandwich has now been removed - PLEASE bring it back! I've never had anything like it and was the reason I kept going back :(

Ran out of all but 1 type of sandwich by 1.30pm. Waited 35 mins for 2 sandwiches! If I hadn’t have paid already, I would have just walked out. Certainly not quick service. There was no apology from front of house staff which just annoyed me even more! At least acknowledge your customers are hanging around for ages. Sandwiches are tasty but also expensive. Therefore, given the price and the fact it would be quicker going the supermarket, buying the ingredients and making the sandwiches yourself, I won’t be returning!

Reading the other reviews and some of the criticism seems unfair to me. A small menu done well is the hallmark of a good place, not a drawback. As for price, it seemed par for the course to me. It’s normal. Taste, unreal. I had the Reubenstein and it was top drawer.

Decent butties but massively overpriced. And passive aggressive mentality of staff who try their best to ignore you at the counter means it's not worth it for the poor level of service.

This was on my list for places to eat in Liverpool so we thought we’d stop here since we were somewhat near. The shop is small but quite trendy. Shame about the cracked window. It’s retro looking, they even have a street fighter arcade machine which is free to use. We were served immediately. They have a selection of maybe 8-10 sandwiches. Everyone is freshly made. Unfortunately we arrived nearer closing time so a couple of the sandwiches had sold out. The lady that served us was helpful and recommended the grinder which is what I got. The grinder is salami, prosciutto, chicken, emmental, tomato, tapenade, grinder slaw and honey. My wife is a fussy pup and there was nothing on the menu that she was confident enough in trying. The lady did try and accommodate as much as she could but we only left with 1 sandwich. The grinder was superb. Excellent flavour and incredibly tasty. It wasn’t rammed full like you sometimes see but had just enough filling. The fact that it was warm and toasted made it that much nicer. I wouldn’t come here often because it’s a little expensive at £8.50 (£11.50 for delivery) but it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had so I’ve got to come back.

Very limited menu, extremely overpriced £8 for a very small underwhelming sandwich. No atmosphere. If you want a good selection for lunch go up the road to Alexander’s. Won’t be bothering again. Sorry!

We arrived hoping for a breakfast bagel at the shop in Crosby at 10.00 a.m. but we were 10 minutes late. We were then advised that sandwiches are not served til 11.00 so it was a bit disappointing that we never got chance to eat anything. I guess that is just one of those things and we would know for next time.. We went elsewhere.

Went in there for a lunchtime butty on recommendation - Not a massive veggie choice (one butty!) - good job it was bl**dy gorgeous then eh? Top donut too - no messing around with crazy-a$$ toppings, just a lovely lemon & poyyseed icing - very nice indeed. Not the cheapest - but if you want a cheap butty go to Greggs.

First time here. Recommended by a family menber. The service and wating time was excellent. Loved the Sopranos NY and Jersey theme. I selected the Furio as it was chipotle chicken and jalapino cheese. I like a bit of chili spice flavour. The bread was tough the flavour was bland and littke cheese, For the price £8 ish was very dissapointing. A Greggs Mexican Chicken is far superior for a fraction of the price. The Furio was more of a Pussio. I tasted the Reuben ordered by a family member and that was the biz the bread was soft and a great peppery flavour balance with the gerkins and sauerkraut. The flat white was suoerb. Summary: From my opinion if you are charging 'Top Dollar ', you need to deliver across and extend the range as the Reuben is your Flagship. The Furio needs to be in character wuth some fire and kickass.

Popped into this little place on Saturday. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Ordered three of the Gabagool subs which have various hams, salamis , mozzarella, pesto & tomatoes in them. Bread was so fresh & it was a delicious mix. Subs are £7 but it a great size & a meal in itself so I think it’s great value for money. It was hard to choose from the selection on offer, was always very tempted by Club and the tuna ones . There is also a vegan choice. Their doughnuts looked delicious too but resisted this time. Recommend 100%, will be back soon!

We’ve tried the Rubenstein and the Nolita and they’re both amazing, probably the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Other reviews have said they’re expensive and while they’re not cheap I think they’re well worth the price as the sandwiches are huge, packed with filling and clearly use fresh, good quality bread and ingredients. The team are always super friendly when you go in and the iced lattes are banging. I fear for my waistline with these guys down the road.

Every sandwich I’ve had from dereks has become my new fave. Amazing produce & the service is always so lovely and friendly. Well worth the price & my whole family loved it. There’s nowhere else in Liverpool that is doing this. I’m so glad you don’t do fries for 30p !!!! Can’t wait to visit again & see where dereks goes ❤️

Just spent £18 in dereks for 2 sandwiches and a coffie. The sandwiches were nice but not £7 each worth... I don't get why places like this charge so much for a sandwich, a place like this could make small portions of fries for about 30 pence each, why not do that bit extra for that price.. I will say again the food was nice, shame.....

Staff seemed genuinely clueless, the woman on the fries didn't move for 15 minutes and waited 10 minutes just for the staff to serve us and let us pay. My girlfriend asked for no mayo and was given cheese on her burger which she can not eat! The burger buns were nearly frozen and stone cold. The chips were half cold and the staff barely moved. Worst KFC i have personally been to

Had afternoon tea for five. Decor was a bit worn, with holes in the seats at the booth we were offered - not a good first impression. Service was agonizingly slow: it was half an hour after being seated before anyone offered us coffee, another 20 minutes before anyone took our food order and around 1 hour 15 mins after sitting down (plus one irate enquiry at the bar) before our food actually arrived. Afternoon tea platters were a mixed bag: coffee was good and scones were warm, which was nice, but the sandwich bread was verging on stale. The maître d' took 20% off the bill for the inconvenience, but I'd rather pay full price and not be left waiting over an hour for underwhelming food.
