Burnham Grill in Maldon

This is the best shish kebab eve and I've tried a lot in my time and the fried chicken is better than kfc not even joking these men know what they are doing I uset to be a chef I'm proper fussy about my food and I give this establishment 10/10 what's ever you order it's perfectly cooked and tastes amazing 👌🏻

Food not fresh, chips fried multiple times soaked in oil. Kebabs tasteless, chicken salty. Huge disappointment. I don’t recommend

Went to visit with my family the other day and like always, they didn’t disappoint! My order came quick and the staff were extremely friendly, love to go collect my order and have a nice chat always. It was a chicken kebab, some fried chicken and a small pizza and they looked and tasted amazing 🥹 Their portions are really generous and honestly would recommend for anyone around the area to have a try.

Really good takeaway and one of the few places that deliver out to St Lawrence Bay. Lrg Chicken Shish was excellent with plenty of fresh salad, the Pizza was way better than Dominos just around the corner, plenty of topping and a good dough base. Had to wait a while but wow was it worth it! We will deffinitely be ordering from here again!

I have ordered from this resteraunt many times and I can comfortably say that it is one of the best food experiences I have had.

Don’t bother going unless you have cash as they don’t take any other means of payment, I mean it’s only 2022 (nothing dodgy at all here lol 😂) nearly walked out, if it wasn’t for lovely lady behind bar I would’ve The Turkish men really don’t give a 💩💩about customer service. Ironically owner is called “cash” wtf 🤬 Welcome to 1975 🙄

We have used the takeaway several times recently with the last time this Saturday. The food was ordered and paid for on line and was delivered on time and was still warm when it arrived to eat. All of the food was tasty including the free salad which was surprisingly good for a free offering. We had a griddled Haloumi starter followed by Chicken kebab and lamb shish plus pitta bread and salad. The lamb shish was particularly nicely seasoned. Portions were large enough for two reasonably sized meals. At about £19 including delivery this seemed to be quite good value.

Great food. Lovely people. Don't waste time or money anywhere else 💯👌 FANTASTIC Food, quick delivery!!! We can’t get enough of these take outs. Well Done guys

This isn’t the first time my order has been incomplete and disgusting but this time is worthy of a review to warn others. Kebabs not made up with zero salad and sauce, just meat a a pitta bread not even cut open. A wrap again with zero salad in and two pieces of measly chicken. Cold chips, missing all of the extra sauces that we ordered with the petty excuse of “we are busy”. To pay £60 for a family meal and half missing is just not acceptable plus to be patronised by being called “my love” on calling is very disrespectful. Will I order from here again…..NEVER!

After ordering from this takeaway. We got Disgusting food and getting orders wrong and then not answering the phone. We order one stuffed crust pizza and one thin and don’t even get stuffed crust. One of the pizzas as you can see in the picture is very dry and not cooked properly. The kebabs was burnt and very not happy and not Quality for your money avoid this place as it’s a rip-off

I have visited this take away before a few times, although I have not been here for over a year, not sure if they are under new management. I was very disappointed with the service and food, the staff were very rude and when I asked for a serviette I was asked "What for?" the guy who served me quickly whispered to his colleague that I had just bought something and gave me a serviette, they obviously do not care about customers or their reputation, medium kebab is £8.50 and wasn't worth that amount of money. They only take cash and have a tip jar on the counter, the cheek. The food was awful, but the chips were ok. AVOID this place and I hope this review helps others in future, It wasn't like this before these guys don't deserve any of your hard earned money. Also a young lad was asking where he could buy drugs they told him not here but go up the road and ask. AVOID!!!

So after thinking should I drive 10 mile to Maldon for a take away sark or go to 3 mile to the burnham grill for a lamb chicken and kofta the first for a few years and got to say I wasn’t disappointed and actually got to say probably the best kebab I’ve had in a while and I’ve had a few all over the country !! So well done to a great local take away . Ordered over the phone turn up 5 mins early and ready to go straight away ... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Fab food, fab service and fab prices. Cheesy chips are second to none! Burgers, kebabs pizza etc all delicious!

The last 2 times I’ve had a chicken shish it’s given me and really bad belly, the first time I didn’t link it to the kebab, but yesterday the same again! I’ll never use again.

I have been all over the place in my life but this place is the best for kebabs even the smallest portion is loads

First of all Burnham grill is amazing is suitable for all ages of human from old crone to little babe. So I loved the kebab and falafel the make, it is delicious and the chick pea falafel has the slight taste of boss man toes and it is scrumptious! Bumhole grill also does specialty custom foods, like this amazing piece they made me here.

I would like to leave a very nice message about the amazing workers that work here, tia and Katy are very polite but I had one problem with them as Katy overcharged me for my meal 2, I am however fine with this seeing as I absolutely love Burnham grill, but I can imagine another customer becoming very angry with this problem and I would have to suggest the manager to be informed :)

DO NOT GO HERE, Me and my son Alfie ordered a cheese pizza and a simple burger, The burger was fine but had a dry texture that reminded me of my old papas carpet, BUT THE PIZZA OH LORD THE Pizza WAS HORIBLE, I bit into it and I felt a weird crunch wich was a bug OoO. so PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. the only thing I love at bg is the falafel and toes :)

Eaten here a few times. Food really nice, Doner meat is good quality. Chicken sheesh is nice also, piping hot.My only gripe would be, the chilli sauce is good, but best to ask for a separate carton as it sinks into the pitta and is very soggie.Also they seem to use red cabbage instead of white in the salad, which I was not so keen on, so had to ask for it to be removed second visit.All good though overall

Offered free lollipops for the kids as soon as you walk in, don't be fooled, tough to walk out when your kids are eating their free lollipop (yes I fell for it). Overpriced burgers for the kids and my 9 year old refused to eat the chicken in the burger. I tasted it and spat it out. Phoned them and was met with an agitated man telling me the food is fresh and just cooked, I kmow old chicken when I see it. May be just cooked but definitely been cooked before. Didn't even offer a free replacement. Will be reporting, absolutely disgusted.

Awful absolutely awful. Would have rather starved than paid for what I got. Never again. Stone cold chips not even warm. Kofte kebab got too much grizzle and extremely burnt. Wish I was a vegetarian because salad was very good.

I am there soon to be president of America, Mr Donald Trump. I came to this fast food place for my best dish of chicken at 3 HOWEVER when I arrived a dirty immigrant came and tried to sell me fake chicken.....I was disgusted I shall deport them.

Nunca hemos tenido una mala comida de Burnham Grill. La comida es fresca, bien un delicioso y hay una gran variedad en el menú. El personal es amable y ofrecer mis niños Lolly Pops en cada visita. Salsa de Chili es agradable y no como el ácido del acumulador habitual salsas de degustación que normalmente te encuentras. Yo recomendaría este establecimiento.

Gave me and my partner food poisoning, most certainly not visit again or recommend. I found food prices expensive.

Para una preciosa sirve kebabs bien cocinado con los más frescos de ensaladas que sería muy difícil de superar El Burnham Grill. He estado comiendo comida desde aquí durante unos cuantos años y hasta la fecha nunca me ha decepcionado. Buena comida, grandes porciones, servicio amable.

This little take away delivers well cooked well priced food. The service is quick but can be very busy on Friday early evening. Great to get a kebab and walk along the quay fron enjoying the evening sunset.

Visitaremos Burnham cada par de meses y siempre llevar de Burnham Grill. Su pollo kebabs son deliciosos, no sé cómo consiguen el pollo cocinado tan succulently y perfectamente cada vez. La comida y el servicio rápido para llevar nunca ha decepcionado en varios años en el lugar.

Really good chicken, lettuce and mayo wraps. The best I've had. The kebabs are not bad either. The large mixed special could feed a whole family. A good selection of pizzas too. All very good value and they don't skimp on the toppings. Just a pity they are not open lunch times mid week.

The pizzas here are the best I have ever tasted. The kebabs and burgers are nade with quality ingredients. Friendly staff and you can phone up and your order will be waiting. Not the healthiest but great for a treat

My young son had a burger and got food poisoning he was very ill for 48 hours. We will certainly never eat there again.

We use this for meals fairly often. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food cooked well . They are fair price for this type of quick food and although basic the restaurant seems fine also.

this is great for a quick cheap meal with the kids. kebabs, burgers, chicken nugets, pizzas. You don't have to wait long for the food which is always tasty. They deliver too.

I'm assuming that the star rating relies on the context, hence the five stars. Some days I want a special meal, but some days I want a kebab. Not one of those nasty greasy grey things, but a shish kebab made with decent quality meat, fresh salad and a choice of garlic or chili dressing. Burnham Grill can provide this. On one of these days they get 5 stars. If it was my birthday or wedding anniversary they might not (unless I'd just come back from a long walk or sail and was starving hungry and just wanted to go home, in which case the 5 stars stay).It's a bit difficult to write a review of a kebab shop. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They serve kebabs, fried chicken, french fries, pizzas and so on, but they do it very well. Portions are generous and everything is good. They do garlic cheese pizza bread and the smell from it induces instant salivation, when you are hungry it's hard to imagine anything more appetising.They have tables but I've never seen anyone sitting there so I don't suppose you'd choose this place for a special night out but as I said if you want something quick, easy and delicious it absolutely hits the spot.The
