Excellent little bistro and deli I had a delicious tomato and red pepper soup with a rustic roll which was lovely . Lovely setting, perfect menu excellent service and excellent value
Finally got round to trying Sunday lunch here and as expected, lovely food. Quality ingredients (Beef & Chicken), well cooked with plenty of traditional accompaniments. Roast potatoes were superb 👌🏼. Great service from all the staff and all 5 of us left full up! We will definitely be back soon for another meal
What a lovely little find. Visiting Colchester from Ipswich with my daughter and wanted a hot drink and a snack. We were wandering around and found this little gem. Small cafe. On sitting down we glanced at other tables and their food and we were tempted to rather than buy a sandwich or toastie we both had cheesy chilli jacket potatoes served with a little bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. The service was both quick and friendly. The place had a nice relaxing atmosphere and some of the customers seemed to know the staff so it seems like they have returning customers. They also did a nice pot of tea.
Just stopped for a quick coffee. Excellent coffee and fabulous cakes. We had the almond croissant cookie and the carrot cake, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended!
This cocktail bar is located in a modern development underneath the Premier Inn.
It has a small pleasantly decorated interior with friendly staff. We enjoyed a bottle of prosecco at a reasonable price.
Things took a strange turn when we came to leave. It is not permitted to leave by the front door. We were guided to the rear of the building where we had to leave through a fire exit into a dark alleyway at the back of the building.
I can’t recommend The Pantry highly enough! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The Gail goes above and beyond to ensure every customer feels valued, whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time.
The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. There’s something to suit every taste, and everything is presented beautifully and on hot plates! It’s the kind of place where you can tell a lot of thought and love has gone into creating the menu.
What makes The Pantry even more special is their open-door policy for everyone – including our four-legged friends! It’s so refreshing to find a spot where dogs are not only allowed but genuinely welcomed. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and soak up the friendly vibe.
A visit to Blandford Forum wouldn’t be complete without stopping by The Pantry. Fantastic food, excellent service, and a warm welcome for all – humans and dogs alike!
