First time in Exeter. It was a day trip from Bristol. Weather was horrible. We found the local BrewDog to get out of the rain and eat lunch. Best beer of the day was Keep Currant and Cherry On by DOT Brew out of Dublin, Ireland. Lunch was wings. Everything was perfect. No complaints.

I recently had my 30th Birthday party at Pews, and it was such an incredible night. Charlotte was really helpful in getting this all booked and scheduled in, I was able to easily pre-order my food which was delicious, and the bar staf were so attentive all night. We had all the inside area which was a great vibe and the perfect amount of space for 30-40 people. The owner was also there, and was incredibly accomdating. Being my birthday I was obviously a bit too pissed by the end of the night, but the staff fully understood and were so good about it. I will definitely be coming back and would recommened this to everyone, especially for a party!

My wife and I visited this cafe for the first time today and loved all the vegan food. We had the Buffalo Chick’n Salad with sides of chips and Mac n Cheese all of which was delicious but we had ordered too much. Next time we will arrive before 12.00 to sample their vegan breakfast which Llosa amazing. Our lunch was finished with coffee and 1st class almond croissants, warmed and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful.

The Old Bush is a very welcoming local pub. If you want a simple but effective model of a pub with great real ales, excellent atmosphere and superb tasty, crusty cobs then this is the place for you. Debs is a wonderful landlady and her staff, especially Lucy, are a credit to the pub and the Black Country Ales brand. This is the best pub in the village in my opinion, an old fashioned pub with a modern twist- air conditioning- lovely when it gets too hot. The locally sourced, freshly baked cobs and fillings that overflow along with freshly baked sausage rolls and pork pies from a local butcher makes it a Black Country love affair.

Artur is an amazing guy, so accommodating and knows his customers. He came and sat with me and asked if all ok and where i was from etc. Nice touch!!

1st takeaway from here. Things missing from commando chips. No onions whatsoever. Burgers were VERY DRY. 1 tiny slither of avo. Everything tasted of hot sauce and nothing else. . Very expensive for what we got. So dissapointed with this meal.
