Really disappointing experience! My family went to Beaconsfield branch hoping we’d get a good experience, we’d wanted to go to Taplow but as it’s under refurb, Beaconsfield was the closest option. The manager really spoiled our experience. My wife had ordered a steak medium and what appeared wasn’t medium, we’d asked our lovely waitress to remedy this for us, she was great. The manager came over and explained that they had supply issues which meant the cut was not up to standard hence why it wasn’t cooked medium all the way through. He obliged to get a new steak which we waited 15 minutes for. By this point we’d all finished eating so my wife had to eat solo. When it came to the bill we weren’t happy and wanted to speak to the manager, he came over and said he’s not going to do anything in addition to what had been done (they compensated our soft drinks) my wife was clearly frustrated but rather than diffuse the situation, the manager started getting annoyed and was being very disrespectful to my wife!! Eventually he stormed off because he “didn’t want to engage anymore”. What started as a nice evening was ruined by the manager. He clearly needs training on how to handle frustrated customers instead of making people even unhappier!

We had a lovely family meal over the bank holiday weekend. The food was great and Danielle our server was wonderful throughout. Would happily return for another evening out!

I'll preface this by saying I'm coeliac and a huge part of why I go to Miller and Carter is because they're usually Coeliac Society credited. The waiter we had was very helpful but, for the first time ever at a Miller and Carter restaurant, I was asked to sign a waiver saying I accept the risk of cross contamination. There's not really much choice when I'm already sat down for dinner with the family but I do try to make careful choices. The food was very tasty and the service was good but shortly after dessert the brain fog and stomach cramps of a fairly severe gluten contamination incident kicked in. Perhaps I should have taken the waiver as a warning that this Miller and Carter weren't Coeliac safe? Either way, I would recommend other coeliacs to be cautious just in case.

Nice restaurant, good service , good menu choice ,

We decided to go to the Beaconsfield branch yesterday on a whim. The staff seated us easily without a booking. The staff were friendly if not overrun as it took a while for them to take our food order. The drinks were ordered quickly and delivered quickly. We went for the 34.95 offer which was three courses which is excellent value. We arrived after 7pm but we didn't receive our mains until 820pm. Once the mains arrived the onion loaf was cold and the rib eye was tough to cut. I showed the waitress and she understood my concern and my husbands was the same too. She took them away and agreed to have them remade. The manager then came to ask us if we knew how the steak was meant to be cooked etc and questioned us. We have been going to the Miller and carter group for a long time and are well aware of the food is not cooked properly. We were advised after the chef wanted to ensure we knew this. We were at this branch in November for a family dinner hence the reason we went back. The dishes were provided to us again and the steak came back more medium rare then medium but we didn't want to make a fuss as we are happy to have medium rare and the onion loaf came back burnt. this has put us off visiting this branch again and we this is a great location as it suits my extended family but unfortunately will look at a new branch. The deserts were delivered very quickly and wlteh sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Again the waitress was great and friendly but they just didn't have enough staff on last night.

The restaurant kitchen closes at 9 p.m. apparently and not at 11 p.m., for we arrived at 8.50 p.m. and even if the restaurant was rather empty, the lady said they wouldn't be able to serve us.

Bizzare experience, visited on Saturday lunchtime at 12 noon ,fancied 2 fillet steaks exterior looked unkempt, however continued the visit , greeted eventually by a big guy who said, you alright... have you made a reservation???? I remarked as it was empty, well you don't look busy ... and we were escorted to a table , however as I have been a customer at this particular establishment for the last 35 years we decided to go elsewhere, good luck for the future

Good lunch in friendly surroundings.

This is not our first visit to this steakhouse; my husband and I have been here several times before. The food was, as always, great and fresh, and it was served quickly. Settling the bill was also easy and fast. Our server, Katarina, was courteous and made our visit very pleasant.

I usually come to Miller & Carter, but the food here is not the best. Too bad, the béarnaise sauce is really not of quality. The one in Leeds is much better.

May I say that the food was perfect the food waiting time was not long and the people was fine the only complaint is a lady called Katrina She just had a bad energy about her from the start very bossy towards other members of staff and rude there was number of times she made us feel uncomfortable but one was when the service bill was added we did not want to pay all of it and she said we needed a reason why when we don’t we said the reason anyway and she just walked away with the money In her hand This is not to get her in trouble just to make her acknowledge her bad energy and how one person can ruin it for everyone props to the chef

Ate here earlier today and were quite a bit late due to traffic. Manager was very nice about it, really accommodating as we had by mum and my little 2 year old son with us. Had a lovely meal, great service and not rushed to vacate the table. Thank you Miller and Carter. We will be back

Been there several times before and usually relaxing and satisfactory. Best to book as you might be turned away. Not usually very busy though but has staff shortages sometimes. Two pleasant waitresses who've been there years back to Harvester years,. Nice decor. Some managers have been unsatisfactory.

We chose Miller and carter Beaconsfield because it was my 60 th birthday. Our server was Abi who was brilliant and professional. The starter of belly pork was OK and incredibly small. We chose the sharing butchers block as it was a special occasion. To say that we were underwhelmed was an understatement. The steak itself was nice enough. The chips were COLD. The bonemarrow thing tasted as though it was scraped from the bottom of the fryer. The chips were COLD. The salad was underwhelming. Tomatoes rubbish. The onion bread was obviously last night's fair, refried. Very disappointed

Booked online and turned up a bit early. Shown to our table and drinks ordered. They arrived promptly, food order taken and settled in. We opted for scallops with pork and chicken bites. Mains we chose the fillet steak and a sirloin steak. Starters arrived and consumed. The steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered, seasoned chips, fried onion, grilled tomatoe and sauces. Very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed. Good friendly service and will return. Only negative observation was that the carpet could do with a good hoover.

Scallop starter underwhelming, over cooked and the apple and bacon were predominant flavours. Grilled prawns lovely. Steak was lovely but please do not serve with a serrated knife which tears the meat. Generous sides. Lobstertail overcooked andcdry. Pleasant, friendly, unobtrusive but efficient service.

We went for an early dinner the day after Valentines Day. Staff were very friendly upon arrival. Our table was ready, very cosy. We had the most amazing waitress, Katrina, she is very friendly and engaging. We shared a cote de boef with all the trimmings. The meat was delicious, as well as the sides (chips, their famous salad wedge, and all the sauces). Can definitely recommend - but you’ll definitely need to book a table on a Saturday night. When we left the place - and it is a very large restaurant - it was very busy, the car park was full.
