Best hot wings in London. I'm from the states and have been looking for a place that could quench my thirst for some good hot wings. This the the first place I've found that can do that. Blue cheese is just like at home, that's hard to find here, but the hot sauce is so amazingly good that you question using the blue cheese (first time that's happened to me) very chill and inviting service. I'll be back and I recommend to anyone! Worth stopping by

My sister and I took our kids and nephew for a meal after a VR experience on Tuesday 2nd April. It was a first for 4 out of the 6 of us. We had great service from two waitresses and ordered a few kids meals and side plates. Every single plate was clean no crumbs at all!!! Atmosphere was OK, but smelly drains /toilet that affected the seating area wasn't pleasant. Not sure if it can be rectified but I'd just not sit near the stairs next time... overall good experience

Very good chicken with great sauces. The green slaw was a delicious surprise too. Quite disappointed by the beef dripping fries which just felt like regular fries (no beef or dripping detected). Great staff and quite nice ambiance, much nicer than it seems from the outside.

I don't know how they make the wings but honestly, best wings I've ever had. Hot wings are perfectly spicy and tangy. Kung pao wings are on a whole new level, sweet, spicy, crunchy, spring onions add a freshness. Go just for the wings.

I had the seaweed crack tenders they were amazing fantastic I ordered through Deliveroo and asked for extra fries because we were fasting for Ramadan they were very accommodating and gave us another portion of fries I really like this company they are very considerate and will definitely be ordering again actually this is my third time ordering

Wanted something to eat last night with my husband before going to a friend’s party. We were lucky enough to come across this place. The food was amazing!!! I had the vegan patty and my husband had chicken. It was delicious. Also really enjoyed a cocktail. Lovely staff. Will definitely come back and bring our chicken loving kids!

I ordered one K-pop burger and i have not got any tissue inside only burger was. I saw the details about the burger so i was excited to order the K pop burger and did it but eventually it made me disappointed becasue it was so disgusting burger and i could not have it fully because of taste and smell, smell was very bad, it seems like the all veg were kept in Refrigerator or somewhere 3-4 days after that the use it. Also,the burger was expensive.

Rocked up without a reservation, got seated, served and was eating food within 15 minutes, even though it was busy with sit-ins and takeaways. Super impressed by how efficient the staff were! Price point was good around £23 for a chicken burger, chips and drink. I went for a K Pop and beef dripping fries, the burger was massive, full of flavour and super tasty, the same goes for the fries, all in all a great experience and would definitely return. Good work guys. 👏

Popped in for takeaway of chicken tenders and beef dripping fries (you've got to try these fries). Thought I'd have a cocktail whilst waiting, The Tart, could've drunk this by the bucket load. Was so delish. Of course the food was excellent too. They even kept the food warm for me whilst I finished my drink. Great service, friendly staff. 👍🏾

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the area! My mother came in town for a visit and knew Chick n Sours was a must eat on her trip. The food is high quality and so delicious. The service is always amazing and super accommodating. Our server, Sophie, was so lovely and attentive. Her energy wanted us to come back again! The vibes in the restaurant are always up and cheerful. Highly recommend the wings and cucumber salad. 12/10 everytime. Thank you guys!!

Me and my partner have ordered from here multiple times before and absolutely RAVE about the place! However the other day we went to visit the restaurant and our experience was not so great. When we walked in the place was empty, but as we were sat next to the window at least 4-5 Deliveroo people waited outside to collect an order during the time we were there. This was also very off putting when the Deliveroo driver and the staff are trying to communicate through the glass, making big gestures and waving phones about, the delivery drivers were peering in and putting their whole body’s up against the glass - which was not what I expected to be looking while I ate. It was almost like we were being watched in a zoo. After being seated we got given menus and 2 minuets after sitting down we were asked what we wanted, we hadn’t even looked at the menu. Being served by 3 different people, who were obviously not communicating as each person came up and asked the same thing over and over again. Half way through our meal we had a waiter lingering around us looking over our shoulder, I asked if everything was okay and she asked if we were done. Which we were not as we still had food in our mouths. We were then asked 3 more times if we had finished before we had even finished the meal (food still on our plates, drinks still half full). One last time a waiter came to ask if we were done again, I asked her if she could leave us alone until we call her over, and she raised her eyebrows and a scoffed at me without saying anything. What was supposed to be a lovely date night turned into us feeling rushed, unwanted, and disrespected. Only being in the restaurant for 40 mins A-LOT happened. Will order in the comfort of my own home agin because the food is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! but I will definitely not be returning to the bad service! Props to the chefs in the kitchen because that’s what is keeping your business going. NOT THE FLOOR STAFF.

I was looked after and fed very well by everyone working at the Dalston Chick 'n' Sours. The cocktails are what you expect to find in a overpriced premium bar and the quality of the food and how it's put together is really worth the visit if you're based in London or just visiting. 🤟

Delicious, incredible food. The Szechuan Aubergine had a lovely texture and flavour. The strange sauce cucumbers were definitely worth it an the peanuts added a lovely crunch. The watermelon was refreshing and sweet with a lovely heat. The chicken was amazingly cooked and the batter was perfect. Definitely recommend coming here

Amazing chicken burgers and cocktails! The burgers were big (but not ridiculous), the chicken so crispy and the flavours were good. Had a couple sour cocktails that were great too. Definitely wish there were a couple more options but ain't that always the way. People were super friendly too!

Was unsure how some of the reviews were negative as the concept seems great and I eventually gave in. And was then wary as the place was empty, tho it was getting heavy traffic from deliveroo pickups. But I can see now why, everything we had was pretty average (except bang bang cucumbers ironically they were good) and often over salted. cocktails avg too - half of it was foam - and no draft beers. And then the bill came and for this amount of ££ it really really should be a lot better

Probably been going “downhill” for a while, looks close to the bottom now. Service non-existent (one of those times you have to ask 2-3 times for water at the start) and we were told because there were no eggs, there was no Sours drinks available that night. Bit weird for a half empty restaurant called “chick n sours” with grocery stores within 30 sec walk. Food still redeems it a bit as the chicken has stayed good. But pretty disappointing.

Had a really nice meal for a friends birthday. Food was good, portion sizes were fair and the staff were on it too considering there were 12 of us!

Been ordering from these guys for years via Deliveroo. Always loved it. The cost has gone up for my usual by £2. I don’t mind that. But what’s really frustrating is that the wings were tiny. Pathetic portion. Inflation of prices mixed with shrinkflation of wings. What a shame. Like I said, always loved this company so very upset by this.

Very overrated place the k-pop burger worth £13 was absolutely horrible the chicken had no seasoning whatsoever there wasn’t even salt and pepper on it! just a dry plain fried burger the sauce had a strong vinegar taste I’m actually so upset what a waste of money, the wings also very soggy! Pretty awful food and drink. Both cocktails we ordered were sickly sweet and left bad aftertaste. Not freshly made. Aubergine was soggy (don’t bother frying if you’re not going to fry your aubergine before batter or if you’re going to soak it in sauce afterwards). Chicken tenders very salty, chips very salty. Left most the food and the drink on the table. Only 3 tables occupied at 8pm on a Friday night. Now I see why. Better food at a better price elsewhere on Kingsland Rd.

The food was not good at all and the service unfriendly. They promised a refund: it never happened. Strongly overpriced for the quality you get.

Made a wrong order then ask to change and get a refund for the difference. Got rudely spoken to by the manger who swear he already refunded me - I just checked and no refund. So in the end I paid for something I never ate. Nice.

Bonne cuisine, la friture est très sympa, les burgers aussi. Par contre, je ne sais pas ce qu'ils mettent dans le bang bang cucumber mais j'ai fait des rêves chargés d'émotion la nuit suivant le repas. Mon oncle qui en a pris avec moi a rêvé qu'il n'arrivait pas à retrouver le certificat de décès de mon grand père pour prouver à celui-ci (qui était revenu parmi nous) qu'il était censé être mort. Bref, il m'est impossible de ne pas partager cette anecdote, votre nourriture est magique. La musique est juste un peu trop fort dans le restaurant, ce n'est pas toujours facile pour passer commande.

Should and can do better. Great vibe, lovely staff. But the chicken tenders came out pale and unappetising and the chips were inedible and had to send them back. The replacement chips were also inedible - full of oil, a bit sickening. And way too overpriced for poor quality food. I would not return despite the charming staff.

I was traveling from Paris to London, came across this restaurant. Really nice location and ambience, food was another level, met this guy called Ruu who recommended me the k-pop burger and aubergine🔥🔥. This was one of the best meal I have had in London. Would definitely recommend

Came in to get out the rain left with a full stomach. The chicken was so good. Seasoned really well and fresh. The beef dipping sauce fries were also really tasty. Staff were willing to help, super friendly and clean toilets. Will come back soon :)

Excellent hospitality, tasty food friendly staff. Didn't even have to ask for tap water along side meal the only negative is not down to the restaurant but uber eats delivery drivers standing with the door open however staff got their orders out to them pretty fast Vegan options available aswel

First time at Chick 'n' Sours. Very happy with the food and customer service. Got the chicken tenders and their Beef fat chips, they have generous portions and the food is very flavourful.

Lovely crispy chicken and lovely dipping sauces. Server was really friendly and welcoming, had far too many tenders in the end but being uncomfortably full isn't a real complaint.

Probably one of the worst restaurants in London. Myself and my party were waiting at the door for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged and no apology for the waiting. Sat down and cutlery was dirty. Ordered 2 starters, we had finished one of them and then the other starter came out with our main! The burgers was stone cold and we ended up taking one bite and not eating the rest, which i absolutely hate as it was such a waste of food. Had to ask 2 different servers for sauces and overall was just a horrendous experience. Wouldn’t recommend!

Review of eating in the restaurant: Came here after ordering on delivery and the food was decent enough, but the service in the restaurant is quite poor. Everything seems focussed just on delivery. Doubt we’d come into the restaurant again.

I have been going to CnS since I heard about the little asian fusion chicken place in about 2016 ish. I still make the pilgrimage a few times a year and can report that it's still my favourite chicken place in London. I recommend the a few things, the Szechuan aubergine or chicken toast as a starter, you cannot go wrong with any chicken burgers, but order CRACK FRIES. I promise it's not on the menu but every staff member knows them. Enjoy!

This place has the potential to be great, but, my guess is, standards have slipped. We found the service quite chaotic for a half empty restaurant. For example, it took 20 minutes to place a drink order, and just over an hour for food to arrive. We also had to ask for the table we were given to be wiped down, since there were the remnants of food and drink from a previous diner still stuck to the top. We were a party of 2, so, you'd think, pretty easy work to get right. We had heard good things about the food, but also found this disappointing. The fries arrived cold to the table, so we sent them back. Our burgers, the generals, we're also lukewarm on arrival. The cheese on the burgers was cold, too, and seemingly had come straight out of the fridge. This is easily avoidable stuff and suggests, to us, that the place is sloppily run. And, last but not least, getting the bill took another long wait (by which time the place was a third full). In short: standards have really slipped. Poor service, food sent out cold or unfinished, and a unit that has seen better days. It's a shame, since this is all super avoidable stuff. Sadly, we won't be going back.

Venue was pretty loud and ended up being pretty drafty/chilly due to the staff opening door to the cold every 20 seconds for deliveroo orders. Great food all the same and lovely service

I have been going to and ordering from this restaurant for over 2 years. Recently, the quality of the food has definitely changed, particularly the chicken wings. I placed a deliveroo order this evening and could not believe the discrepancy in wings size, but what was worse was that these smaller wings were a disgusting brown colour inside... could not believe it. Sadly, this will be my last time ordering/ eating here.

Quick, super tasty and a good price. We got the chicken tenders which was as the name suggested... tender. Also got the burger with Kimchi and blue cheese - a superb marriage of flavours. I like nice surprises!
