The best restaurants serving American food in England

Upon entering Hickory’s our server Rob introduced himself and made a real fuss over my grandson making him feel very special. We chose from the delicious new menu and our food and drinks arrived promptly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I can highly recommend the baby back ribs! There’s a lovely atmosphere and I would not hesitate to recommend Hickory’s to all ages!!We will be back! Xx

Super sad to see that this place has changed hands. They used to do amazing fresh burgers but we went in today and they are now frozen burgers. Gutted.

I am a frequent traveller and whenever I enter a hotel room I check the mattress, I have never had an issue before. From the look of things it seemed like old residue of bedbugs. I checked the trip advisor reviews before coming and there seemed to be a few issues of cleanliness however after leaving the hotel I checked the reviews from booking.com and saw someone had the same issue (but a lot worse) a couple years ago. I just wish I had seen that before booking. For over £90 a night I just find it unacceptable that you will offer someone a hotel room with what I would describe at best, a blood stained mattress and at worst bed bugs. I didn’t even look at the rest of the room or the rest of the mattress, after seeing the edge of it like that we left immediately. I called to let them know and it’s now well over 12 hours later and haven’t had a response. Other things to note is the girls toilets downstairs were leaking all over the outside area so had to step over all of the leaking water stream to get to the stairs to enter the room. Don’t recommend at all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the pub the atmosphere was so good & friendly & helpful and l had Alfie the dog 🐕 with me whilst I was there and there were all friendly people who were good to him

The smallest amount of gravy imaginable and no drink with the children’s meal as stated!

Nice venue, nice staff and good service, but dire Sunday lunch (two Sundays in a row: we'd thought the first must be a one-off bad experience); and given that's what we were there for, we won't be back: chewy slices of beef; very fatty, gristley and 20% inedible lamb; roast potatoes completely uncrisp, big and flabby; undercooked parsnips; Yorkshire pudding dried-out to a crisp; leaving ok carrots and gravy!

Visit on a weekly basis . Very friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble. Highly recommended..

Absolutely love Gunslingers, had an amazing Steak before seeing Giovanni. It was cooked perfectly and served with a smile. Am a local and Gunslingers is great for the area...love it.

Ordered eggs on toast. Eggs firm not runny, toast not toast, warm bread sausages ok.

Excellent service - Indra was happy, friendly and caring. Food was great too - very impressed. Will come back here again.

Buena comida, excelente ubicación en el corazón de North Lanes Brighton, personal increíblemente amable, rápido, eficiente y servicial, muy asequible y si no te sentías “fresco” antes de ir (como en joven, de moda, popular “fresco”) que sin duda lo haces para el momento en que te vas después de escuchar la amplia gama de música fresca, comer la comida más descuidada e interactuar con el personal joven y amable cara a cara súper organizado rápido y eficiente! ¡Satisfacen sus necesidades en términos de salsas, bebidas, condimentos incluso antes de darse cuenta! Adam y Ben son geniales y vale la pena su peso en oro administrando el lugar magníficamente y Alicia nos sirvió hoy y era tan encantador que te sentiste como en casa para cuando te sentaste. La actitud es una pequeña cosa que hace una gran diferencia y es una actitud cálida y amigable positiva que se obtiene aquí. ¡Gracias a todos! Great pancakes, great goats, slightly weird but in a good way
