Lovely food, delicious mushrooms, veggie sausage was tasty and the toast was thick Decent coffee too Allowed well behaved dogs so highly recommend

Me my girlfriend and son went to have food in here the food was very over priced and it was tasteless the chief looked like a bath wouldn't go a miss the only thing that was delightful was the waitresses we didn't even finish the food as it was nasty we definitely won't be using this cafe again even if every cafe in are town closed and this was the only cafe left

This used to be a very high quality place, but now it's a total disappointment, the food is terrible, it's like they took it from the garbage and put it on a plate, I visited in the morning, there was only one person, he took my order, his clothes were messy, I was in a hurry, I gave him the money, then I saw that he was bringing my tea and Change of course, then the same person started cooking, touched everywhere and started cooking with his dirty hands, as far as I understand, there was no one working with him. Great place! Staff are friendly and helpful, food is always delicious and service is fast compared with many other similar cafes. It's a great place for the family too.

We're in ar 4pm. Told only serving drinks. Closes at 5pm. Had elderly mother with me. Terrible service

Sunday 17th December 2023 I visited this great cafe This place was well staffed. The owner was well organised comy seating arrangement in this long 1 room cafe Place clean good toilet facilities and the well cooked mega breakfast see picture cost 9 pound 50 Well done all involved

Cracking place for a breakfast, especially if you are hungry. Good quantity for the price, arrives fast and good service. Recommended!! 🍳

On a positive portions are large but it was way too much for me. Sadly though the oil it was cooked in gave me an upset stomach so won't be returning

Have eaten here a few times and the food has always being great. The service was always great and good value. Had a ria breakfast here yesterday and was very filling

We very much enjoyed our breakfast and found the service was very good. There were lots of different choices and able to adjust the breakfast to our needs.

On walking in the cafe looked clean just more staff than customers? After taking a seat I soon realise why the service is shocking. Other patrons were served before me that had entered after. Once my breakfast came I then had to ask for the cup of tea that you pay separately for. The food was mediocre at best the cheapest sausage's I've eaten in many years. Bacon was thick but not cooked enough this was finished with tinned Tom's and an egg which were ok.

I was impressed with the price and quality of the cooked breakfast here. There is nothing fancy going on, its a basic cafe, but the food was very nice, the service was friendly and fast, the premesis was clean and fresh (perhaps a little worn in places). I will be returning for breakfast tomorrow.

The food was really tasty, good portion sizes too. I had an express breakfast. I've had to knock a star off for the bacon fat not being crispy and also because the breakfasts don't come with a tea/coffee and toast which is pretty much standard in any other Cafe I've been to. Also, they didn't have any dairy free milk options so wouldn't be a good place for a vegan to grab a cuppa!

Would truly love to have brekkers here every day ,so tasty ,well cooked and tweaked to what i want ,ie no beans. Quick service with a smile too . Clean . Easily the best for miles around ,happy to support the independent every time , as the chains are seeking to take over . KEEP THEM OUT . See you soon .TESEKKUR EDERIM.

For 2 big breakfasts and 2 teas that cups was small not a mug of tea come to £19,80 bit over priced if im honest and with the weatherspoons next door could have got 3 0f there breakfast a lot more with bottomless hot drinks for less than £15, was nice clean and service was good just over priced not a great sausage and that make a big difference when I say over priced.

Nice atmosphere and great staff. Food was top notch (too many chips though). Will definitely go again.

Got a egg and backen sandwich but egg was over cooked to the point it was like rubber and a coffee that had a off taste like the milk was off so gave it back after 1 bite and 1 sip then as we was leaving thay tryed to charge my mum for it even though I told them I was not going to pay for something as bad as that and no sorry or offer to replace the bad food so I would not even give 1 star but my mum and sisters food was ok so gave 2 stars for that reason only

Nice place to eat, food very reasonable and cooked to order so it's piping hot when it gets to you. The 3 waitresses today were constantly on the go ensuring everyone was happy. Was nice to see them focused and very bubbly, good for them. Hence I left a good tip. They deserved it. This place is always busy as it is the best in town.

Love this café Food is always cooked fresh. Good value for money Toilet facilities - nice and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful Would definitely recommend this café to family and friends.

I have been there on two Sundays and both times I asked for a small meal for my wife and both times she got a large meal instead, we won't be going back don't get me wroñg the food was OK ish but I like to get what i order and not what someone thinks I should have.

Although the food is usually nice this time my bacon sandwich was very fatty and under cooked. Also they will not take bank cards only cash I find this a bit strange when a while back we were being asked to pay by card. That said the cafe was spotless and the staff very polite.

I go here most weeks and I love it. I love the cleanliness and the way the place looks. However, the food is great and the staff are super! What else can you have from a nice local cafe? I would recommend anyone going but please avoid Saturday morning as I don’t want it more crowded when I go!!

I popped in here to grab a quick lunch between appointments. Table service is available here. The menu is varied and covers most tastes, it also highlights food groups with allergens. The service was fast and efficient. The cafe is clean and busy which is a good sign. I enjoyed my lunch and the portions are generous. Paying for my food was a bit of a mission. This cafe is Cash only but has no signs to tell customers that? So luckily there was a cashpoint opposite to rectify my issue of having no liquid cash on me. It may be an idea if this cafe upgrades it's till system to avoid this being a continual problem during the age of technology.

Wonderful food, friendly staff, great coffee. Staff are kind and seat you, clean up immediately when people leave. Best all day breakfast anywhere and the plate is literally huge, no skimping. Good quality bacon and sausage on the breakfast. Will bring anything you want over to you. The breakfast is on the pricey side, but I would rather pay £6-£7 for quality and service rather than a fiver elsewhere in gravesend where the food is cold, small portions and rude staff.

After a short trip from Tilbury to Gravesend on the ferry to meet family we always have an meal this cafe/restaurant.We all had the same meal,and it was as usual ,served piping hot and on huge plates,with an extra plate of chips.Tasty food,never disappoints and staff always cheerful and pleasant. Large portions so beware.

Sat waiting for 15 minutes without service whilst 3 staff standing around chatting to each other. Very disappointed as the food is lovely

We popped in here for lunch, walked passed a few times and it’s always busy. It looked reasonably priced from the reviews. We both had a jacket spud with mushrooms, beans, cheese and salad. There was so much food, I had to finish off marisa’s. For a small cafe it’s worth popping in, cheap and big portions. As greasy spoons go, it’s not greasy. Deffo coming back. Someone posted on here that the waiting staff stand in line staring, that was a bit daft that! The girls serving were very friendly and attentive.

The most fantastic cheese omelettes and a very generous portion with chips and peas!Very accommodating to change any items for alternatives and my daughter absolutely loves the food!Jacket potatoes also lovely and great portion sizes again.A great choice for a meal any time of day.

Have been eating here for several years. Without doubt the best breakfast by far in Gravesend . Always clean ,friendly and quick service. We choose our own combination of a wide range of ingredients. Food has always been well cooked on warmed plates and is indeed delightful . From about 10am unfortunately the scourge of the majority of cafes are the smoking empty cup huggers . But do not let this effect your great start to the day . Think I will go now . Very good value too. Large varied menu. Clean toilet .

A visit to Gravesend always involves a meal at Chef’s Delight with my family, and we usually get there lunchtime.So we normally ask for the various all day Breakfasts, I personally like mushrooms and chips with my bacon and eggs also fried toms and beans.When my plate arrived it was the size of a oval tray,absolutely huge,and piled high and I ate all of it,hot and tasty so I recommend the Lina on the menu.My sister had a jacket potato with salad,well I’ve never a Spud so big,she struggled to eat all of it.but she said it was really done well.So top marks to Chefs Delight,food,staff and service,can’t wait for next visit.

We initally called for mid-morning coffee, but we were so impressed by the friendly staff, fast service and affordable prices that we returned a couple of hours later for lunch. And was a lunch it was! Great choice meals, including various roast meats, shepherds pie, lasagne, burgers, hot dogs, all day breakfast etc. We went for what could be described as traditionally British meals, but it was actually difficult to choose as every item on the menu sounded delicious. When the plates arrived, we were almost overwhelmed at the size of the portions which would add several pounds to each meal in other venues. Above all, the staff showed excellent customer service and the fact that we visited twice within three hours on the same days should really speak for itself. We plan to visit again when next in the area.

Wow, we rolled out of there huge amount of food, is expensive but the portions are proof the cost is not just for gain.
