I went for a walk along the canal towpath from Denton to Higham, enjoying the fresh air, the birds and the flowers, knowing I could buy a light lunch at this mobile snackbar near Higham. It had probably changed hands since my last visit, but the burger was still excellent, and the coffee fresh brewed. The menu was surprisingly diverse, including home cooking. There were only two, outside, tables for those who weren't taking away their food. It was pleasant enough on a dry, warm day, with robins singing in the trees. It opens early, but he confirmed he usually opens until 3.30p.m. It's only open Monday to Saturday.

5 Windmill Street, Gravesend DA12 1AD EnglandFantastic quality and portion of food, great service time. Ordered a cheeseburger to take away, and the beef was nicely seasoned, fresh ingredients, and a massive bun, almost as big as my hand. Ordered chips as well and they were chunky, not too salty, and came in a large batch. Definitely go again.

179-180 Windmill StreetI recently visited and the staff was fast, friendly and very helpful. The food portions were huge and delicious. I ordered the Cheese on two toast, the toast was massive and there was plenty of cheese on there, then I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese and chips and the chips and burger were both perfect and scrumptious. Very good price and staff, would definitely be returning here.

Windmill StreetGreat food, great service and great value. We had breakfast today and it was delicious. Really recommend Windmill Diner if you want a good place to eat in Gravesend.
