I booked a table here on the recommendation of the B & B where I was staying and the food was very enjoyable. I ordered the grilled salmon fillet, drizzled in a creamy tarragon hollandaise sauce and some dressed salad. The meal is served with sweet potato fries but, as I didn’t want any fries, I asked for extra salad. The salmon fillet was not overly large and the salad was actually quite small, especially considering that I’d not had the sweet potato fries. At £17.99, I felt the ratio of portion size to price could have been better.
Soooo disappointing - we have been coming here for years on our regular
Holidays and been telling friends over the years how truly wonderful it was - stand out dishes which we have tried to replicate - but now - so average . It would seem they have decided their money is in fish and chips and they do that well - but oh for their old menu fish stews or sea bass with hints of vanilla and tomato sauces - what a shame . Just become a generic eating place ..
Came to Y Seler for a family meal after a long weekend in Aberaeron.
Food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. We had two young children with us and they couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating.
Highly recommend coming here.
Wow! Awesome find. The food was beautiful, lovely salads, fish cakes and fritters. Nice space to chill. Loved the elderflower drink❤️the staff were lovely and helpful paying attention to all that were around.
Sorry the pics are half eaten, we were hungry 😋.
Really happy we found this spot.
Excellent... Excellent. Service, food and atmosphere. Don't even consider another restaurant after your visit to the castle. Just go here. You will not regret it!

Revisited this place after 30 or so years, and it's still as lovely as ever. I didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms, but the bar was as I remembered it: ancient and gorgeous. Food was yum, although I only had a starter.
Amazing Sunday roast, the portion sizes were absolutely eye-opening!
Even the boiled vegetables were delicious, which says a lot.
Service was excellent too, warm, efficient, and added to the whole experience.
An amazing evening dinner experience, food was delicious, hot, served together with everyone’s order. From the time I booked the table with Shannon who was amazing and helpful to when we arrived to have a table outside for 8 for pre drinks, the staff couldn’t do any more and Pav was so attentive and friendly and helpful in every aspect. Thank you for making our annual meeting event so lovely 👍❤️👍 5 stars 🌟
Lovely little Italian restaurant in Craig y Don. Food was excellent. Piping hot and full of flavour. Portion sizes were just about right, so we didn't leave the restaurant feeling uncomfortable. Only criticism is, like all other Italian/Indian restaurants, drinks were expensive. Would definitely recommend.
