This restaurant makes some really different pizzas. Some of them may sound a bit weird, but they taste brilliant. I had a shish kebab pizza, and I loved it. The pizza was served folded over, calzone style. You may have to wait a bit because they were understaffed the night we visited. But it's worth it.

10/10 pizzas! We had the tikka chicken & johnnys special pizza, will definitely return!

Solo 4 piezas de pepperoni en su totalidad si pizza, la cobertura principal parecía ser la cebolla de primavera!. Pagamos 42 libras por 2 pizzas y 2 bebidas. Today we visited the city for the first time, walked around and it was time to have lunch. We chose everything except the pizzeria, since I don’t like pizza. We saw an interesting place, we went in and saw that it was a pizzeria. Since everyone was hungry, they decided to stay. We placed an order, three pizzas: with duck, lamb and chicken, one bottle of beer and tea. Paid £57.80. The order took 35 minutes. I'm becoming angry from hunger 🤪😉 Our pizzas arrived. Guys, to say that they are delicious is to say nothing. These were the most delicious pizzas in the world!!! We haven’t eaten such delicious food even in Italy, sorry Italians🤭 Various fillings, thin and tasty dough, juicy meat, perfectly cooked vegetables.🤌 All four of us really liked it. My real commendation👌💯 We will return to this city for the sake of this pizzeria. Good luck and please maintain the quality and taste of your pizzas.

Second time visiting here and it didn't disappoint. Awesome service, even on a busy Sunday night. We sat outside as we had dogs with us. I had the meaty pizza which came with chicken, ham (thick ham not cheap skinny pieces), pepperoni, red peppers and spring onions (also comes with jalapeños but i asked could they omit them as I don't like them). Pizza was awesome as always. Tasted amazing. All made fresh. Will definitely try again when I'm back in Lladudno.

Food is great, staff were lovely. It's gone really expensive recently, and the food took around 35 minutes in a near empty place.

Tristemente no es una buena experiencia, una pena ya que nos encantan sus pizzas. Hacía mucho frío, mi marido se mantenía el abrigo puesto. Estoy seguro de que el único miembro del personal que espera se calienta corriendo como un pollo sin cabeza, pero cuando te sientas a esperar durante una hora para 2 pizzas, cuando no hay calefacción, hace mucho frío.

Fantastic experience at Johnny Dough's and really enjoyed my visit. Perfect for coeliacs like myself - almost any pizza can be made gluten-free! Definitely one of the best GF bases I've had and the service was great too.

Loved it here. I had the prawn, chorizo and chili pizza, my sister had the duck. The pizza dough is delicious and the choice of toppings is amazing. It says they have a dessert menu but it's just a few flavours of icecream, but still giving 5 stars as the pizza is amazing.

We picked up a pepperoni pizza the other night. Although a basic option, it was genuinely one of the nicest, freshest tasting pizzas we've ever had. Not too greasy, decent quality meat and just the right thickness and char. Absolutely delicious!

Seriously the best pizza I've ever had - the mussel pizza was so flavoursome and delicious, with a light, thin crust and topped with fresh, quality ingredients. I could have easily finished a second one! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Ordered food to take away. Order included gluten free pizza. Arrived home to discover pizza base was not gluten free. Side salads were gritty as if they hadn't been washed. Would not recommend for anyone with allergies.

I recently dined at Johnny Dough's, and it was an excellent experience! We ordered the chicken and lamb kebabs, as well as the duck and goat cheese pizzas – both dishes were packed with flavor and presented beautifully. The food quality was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, particularly with our toddler, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant had a very clean and cozy atmosphere, with rustic decor that added to its charm. For the quality of food, the pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Johnny Dough's to anyone looking for a great meal, and we’re already planning to return next week!

Had a vegan vegetable pizza at Johnny Doughs in Lladudno. I can honestly say it was the best pizza I have ever had! I asked for extra olives and jalapeños and it was packed with them! Service was great and the atmosphere too! The only negative I can say is that I wished they did chips.

After a long walk on the west coast we headed into Johnny doughs for some pizza. Some great choices of toppings to consider from the usual margarita to Johnny's meaty special or even peking duck. So good we had 3 between us(2) but we were super hungry!

Awesome pizza the Sheep Shish Kebab is legendary and a must if you are in Llandudno. Be wise to book. No pretence just pizza! UPDATE: Original Review was 5 years ago. This past weekend 30/08/24 we returned and had similar pizzas. Pleased to report Morgan Austin and his team have not let standards slip. The Sheep Shish Kebab pizza is worthy of a visit to Llandudno to enjoy. It’s an experience. TIP: Eat Pizza…walk up Mostyn Street a wee way and Chuck some Axes at Johnny Throws.

El personal aquí es un crédito absoluto. Visitado un miércoles por la noche. El restaurante estaba ocupado con solo 2 empleados trabajando en el piso y un montón de comida para llevar. Tuvimos que esperar a que nos tomaran pedidos ya que el personal estaba sirviendo pizzas y bebidas. Estaban absolutamente fuera de sí, pero era feliz y servicial durante todo (creo que eran Casey y James). Muy educado y nada era demasiado problema. La pizza era impresionante. Encantadores ingredientes pero pollo tikka en una pizza de barbacoa, no pollo de barbacoa como se anuncia. Sin embargo, necesita haber más de 2 empleados - vacaciones escolares en un día soleado y 2 empleados para tomar pedidos, reservar mesas, despejar mesas, servir bebidas y servir comida es imposible. Una persona más habría marcado la diferencia.

I always feel harsh giving a negative review of an independent business but our experience was rough. I tried to book online which was difficult and involved phoning and visiting, on arrival we waited ages, ages again for the order, too busy for the little ones to be involved in making the pizzas. The pizzas base was basic as was the sauce, drinks orders wrong, bill had to be chased, just an all round hard experience. I hope you enjoy more than me

Very friendly service, the pizza dough is amazing, I would work on the toppings on the pizza so that they wouldn't overpower the dough and cheese so much and they could easily be one of the best pizzas in the UK! I recommend Pizza with duck is a total surprise, I will come back here just for this item!

Had heard this was the best pizza place in llandudno, it did not disappoint! Restaurant was very busy, had to wait for about 10 minutes before ordering but the pizza was made swiftly, staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced too! Would highly recommend.

What can i say about Johnny Dough's that isn't a cliché? Ok here i go, This is not Dominos it's not Papa John's, it's not Pizza Hut and quite frankly i was glad because it was way better than anything they could offer and more in between, why? Easy, 1st the staff so when we arrived (literally about half an hour before closing) we weren't greeted with a huff and a puff oh no we were greeted like the place was just opening, shown our seat, guided to the menus (vast choices) and told someone would come take our order, now they allowed us time accustom ourselves to place and then came over and took our order, my wife had the Hawaiian i had the Pekin duck Pizzas, drinks were served and within 5/6 minutes our beautiful HOT pizzas and garlic bread arrived, now this food was Amazing, not Amazing like oh that tastes good, i mean AMAZING!! flavour like you wouldn't believe, with service from people who actually care, honestly if you visit Llandudno you must have a Pizza or 5 from here because my only complaint is we arrived half before closing and i couldn't order another! I don't just recommend this place i actually Demand you visit it!!!

Nice ambience, nice child-friendly service, the pizza was just ok. We had a magerita pizza and pepperoni. For my taste there was little sophistication in the pizza, given the good rating I would have expected more. Unfortunately the olives were very sour. All in all it was a nice visit.

Ordered the vegetable Mediterranean pizza for take out. It's advertised as having aubergine, red onion, courgette, peppers. It came with the aubergine and barely onion. I added roasted tomatoes at an extra cost of 75p....I got one very expensive roasted tomato skin and the rest were uncooked cherry tomatoes. If you don't have what's advertised, don't charge for it. At over £17 I kind of expected a half decently topped pizza. But no, pretty much expensive cheese on toast.

Pizzas were great but service was slow. It was busy and perhaps not enough staff, but they were v friendly and helpful when they got to serve us.

Had a lovely goats cheese, caramelised onion and pepper pizza - thin, evenly cooked, slightly chewy dough, plenty of flavourful toppings. Friendly, helpful service and a fun, laid-back atmosphere, plus decent prices for the quality!

Got take out on 13th July 2024. Ordered two pizzas (approx 12 inch). Waited 15 minutes. Pizzas tasted great. Bases were thin and crispy. Cheese good quality. Highly recommended.

The pizzas were ok, but dough was very thin and not chewy enough. Not enough toppings (eg on the mussels pizza), especially considering the above average price. I appreciate the large variety of interesting toppings though. Not much greens available, with there only being very basic salads which aren’t very tasty. We went around 3pm and food was served quite quickly.

I had to write this review because I want to show my appreciation for what it's worth. Visited Johnny Dough's on Monday 8th July 6.30pm, only one waitress was working and one chef and the restaurant started getting busy very quickly. They coped magnificently and with such a positive manner they really can't be praised highly enough. She apologised for the service but we reassured her that she was amazing, it's not easy to do all the roles of a busy restaurant between just two people. A credit to the establishment!.

Pizzas were great. We had the duck and hoisin pizza and the goats cheese one both amazing. Great place and also local drinks.

I was on a short holiday break and on two occasions I walked to order pizza . Google search said it was open but it was closed.. No sign on the door and chairs stacked on tables ? Although I was here for a week I didn't bother again . Not sure what happened?

Pizza was fab, really enjoyed it. Catered for coeliacs and the gluten free base was tasty, as were the toppings. Husband wasn’t too keen on the chicken tikka pizza but I enjoyed the goats cheese and caramelised onion one and my son loved his pepperoni pizza. Definitely worth booking a table as it did get busy of an evening and service was a little slower as a result. Also the starter took a while to arrive, had to remind the staff about the olives, but on the whole, an enjoyable evening and food.

From the moment you walk into this space, the yummy smell of pizza is just there. The service was absolutely brilliant and the pizza was great. The thin, crunchy crust, yummy sauce and delicious cheese. The pepperoni pizza was perfect. I ordered the roasted vegetable one, and courgettes and aubergine were underseasoned and overcooked but once I picked them out it was delicious. I still give them 5 stars because of the way how they reacted to my feedback. They were very nice and helpful.

Modern pizza place with minimal fuss and very nice pizzas - both the bases and the toppings. Unusual but well devised options compared to a standard pizzeria.

My family and I had super pizzas, mine gluten free. Waitress was lovely, helpful and friendly. Quick service and kids loved watching the men cooking the pizzas as our table was quite near to the cooking bench.
