We always try to pay a visit to Hangin' Pizzeria when we're in the area and we're always amazed by the pure quality of everything we eat! The vibe this place has is unique and so welcoming ever time. Definitely our favourite place to indulge. Best food in the best setting. Its a credit to the team there that make it such an awesome place to stop and refuel. 🍕❤️

A fantastic little gem in the beautiful village of Betws-Y-Coed, which I visit regularly! This place truly deserves recognition, and overall, I’m giving it 5 stars, though I’ve rated the food 4 stars for one specific reason - the additional charge for gluten-free bases. I completely understand that gluten-free ingredients can be more expensive, and I really appreciate that they offer a gluten-free vegan pizza, which is quite rare to find these days. It’s a huge plus! That said, this restaurant is clearly thriving, which is wonderful to see for a (presumably) small business. However, I’d love to see a shift in the industry where those of us with celiac disease or gluten intolerance aren’t taxed for a condition we have no control over. This is a well-loved, high-quality establishment that already charges premium prices for great food, so it would be amazing if they could give back to the community by either removing the up charge on gluten-free bases or perhaps even making their own in-house (maize flour or gluten-free flour makes this quite simple!). This spot is already one of the top pizza places in North Wales & it would be incredible to see it become legendary in the gluten-free community too! So please Hangin Pizzeria, absorb some of this cost & help the community out. That said, I’ll absolutely be returning (when my budget allows), as the food is excellent. Thanks for the great pizza, I look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely lovely pizza, lovely friendly staff, clean restaurant and toilets. Inside was full when we arrived at 7pm on a Tues eve, ordered some hot drinks and waited outside and before we knew it, we were being called inside. When they say Dog friendly, they really mean it. There's jumpers outside in a basket, to borrow, and dogs are welcome inside, too, made me feel guilty for leaving our little man at home! Service was fantastic, staff were happy, helpful and polite. Overall, fantastic pizzeria, well worth the 30 min drive to celebrate a family birthday 🍕🎉

I absolutely love this place. I was recommended it by the owners of Aberconwy House. Now, I go out of my way for it whenever I'm in Wales.

Lovely staff and a friendly environment. Recently went back again but as before way too much salt in the food!

It might be because they were having building work done, but the pizzas were not upto their usual standard.

Authentic pizza with fresh, flavorful toppings—absolutely incredible! The Mushroom & Bacon Bake special was out of this world, bursting with rich, savory goodness. The setting was super cool with a relaxed, chilled vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend to anyone craving top-notch pizza and great ambiance. 5 stars all the way!

Pizzas tasty good place to eat with dogs.

We tried the Welsh rarebit, Mozzarella Garlic Butter, and Tomato Mozzarella, and all three were absolutely delicious—especially the Welsh rarebit, which we loved to the very last bite. The place was a bit crowded, and we had to wait about 15 -20 minutes to be served, but it was well worth it for the fantastic food.

This pizzeria is an absolute gem! They offer a fantastic variety of vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options, both for food and drinks, which makes it incredibly inclusive for everyone. The service was impressively fast, and the atmosphere is so cozy and homely. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. One of the cutest touches is that they even have sweaters for dogs! It’s such a thoughtful and adorable gesture that adds to the charm of this place. Overall, an amazing experience!

A lovely lunch with a nice bottle of wine - very tasty and the service was quite quick - I have heard a lot of good things about this place and they were not wrong. We have now been back many times and it never disappoints.

Staying in Betws-y-Coed, I was looking on Google Maps for what was around and was drawn to Hangin' Pizzeria. Once I'd seen the photos, I knew we had to pay a visit - and it was better than I expected! Great staff, wonderful atmosphere, cool interior and of course, incredible pizza! On a cold, late-November afternoon, is there a nicer treat? You will find Hangin' Pizzeria in the row of shops next to the train. station. Seating is available inside and out. Alcoholic drinks and desserts are on the menu. Naturally, if you can't finish the pizza, you can take the rest home to enjoy later. Highly recommended!

Not impressed!! Read the hundreds of good reviews about this place and was excited to try it until when waiting for food to come the chef’s were all messing about and being really unprofessional and immature. Not what I would expect from a place with such good reviews. Customer service wasn’t great either was served by a miserable waitress who abruptly place my food on the table. Wouldn’t return which is a shame as the idea of giving to charity is good but such a shame the staff don’t seem to care.

Good pizzas, but meal somewhat spoilt by being charged a whopping £2.50 a can for "Karma Cola", which tasted horrible. Just get tap water instead.

Part of the Royal oak Hotel, but drinks and food a lot cheaper, 15min waiting time but that was at the busy time, more choice than the hotel restaurant.

We were visiting the area and wanted somewhere dog friendly with a chilled vibe. Hangin' Pizzeria fits the bill perfectly - beautifully made pizzas, and a great relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside in the covered seating area because the inside was already full. Dogs are welcome inside and outside, and there are sausages available so they can have a treat too.

I had the rarebit pizza. And then I can back 24 hours later and had the rarebit pizza again. Enough said.

My wife and I really loved eating here, the atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were great and the food was just brilliant. My wife is Vegan and she said it has to be one of the best vegan pizza's she has eaten. We loved the whole ethos of Hangin' Pizzeria.

A lovely restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. Serving a handful of very unusual pizzas. The spiced pear & Stilton pizza was possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had! Get there early if you want a seat! Delightful staff, well done and keep it up!!

This place is a must visit. Such a great selection of pizza to choose from and I would even say it was some of the best pizza I have had in a long while.

The Welsh Rarebit pizza is an interesting twist. We had to wait 20 mins and sit outside. The outside area had heating and it was quite a warm night so it was OK. The cans on offer are only of the "funky" kind and it would have been nice to have standard options as well.

A very nice experience. Despite their (well deserved) business, the ordering and queueing service is very efficient. Polite service. And the pizza!? That's why you're here right?!? 🤤 SO good 🤤

They really have got it right here. Nice selection of pizza made the right way and a good selection of drinks too. The staff are all very pleasant too.

This gluten-free pizza is the best I’ve ever had!! it tastes like real pizza 🤩 I live two hours away, but try to find any reason to come back here and eat pizza with a glass of red wine. Thank you so glad love goes into gf food here 🥺

Went here with our Explorer Scout Group. Ordered 19 margarita pizzas. (£11 each) They were not able to do a deal as the manager was not in but they threw in 3 cheesy garlic bread for free which was a nice gesture. The pizzas were ready to collect at the exact time they were pre-ordered for. The quality of the wood fire pizzas was excellent. A big hit with the explorers. Nice space to sit outside of the restaurant (plenty of room). And the cheesy garlic breads were a different gravy. It's easy to park two minibuses (one with a trailer) in the parking lot at the end of the road, which has its own bus section & was only £3 for 2 hours. We would highly recommend Hangin' Pizzeria!

Pizzas here are another level. Everything from the Welsh rarebit with egg, the special to the plain cheese comes out so tasty and of a good size. We are in the autumn and it was very busy. They even have coats for dogs to wear if you are eating outside and large water bowls for them as well - very thoughtful touch. You can also order beer and wine from their bar as well. Must try if in the area.

The atmosphere when I went was calm although I imagine in summer it could get busy. The outdoor seating area was cozy and heated and the pizza was very nice, the garlic bread with cheese was even better. The food was with us quickly and it was reasonably priced.

Wow these pizzas are amazing, so tasty and fresh. And they showed up in no time at all!!! Definitely deserving of 5 stars all round.

Amazing place!! Pizza was delicious, red wine was excellent, staff were so friendly. We were particularly thankful for our server Evan, who was so lovely and super knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We loved how the pizzeria supported a wildlife charity which is not something I’ve seen of a restaurant before.

Lovely pizza. Eaten outside on picnic benches, returned all the trays etc to the inside counter. Abrupt staff said to take it outside again and place on a rack. Which I did but the staff need to chill out. Customers treated like kids in a school canteen is not very appealing. Other food venues located close by.

Awesome pizzeria in Betws-y-Coed. Every time we stay in the area we get a pizza takeaway from here. Not a huge menu but the pizzas are excellent. Not stingy with the toppings either. Some seating inside and plenty of covered seating outside. Always busy coz it's so good. No reservations taken. Just rock up and enjoy!

Centrally located in the village of Betws-y-Coed, on a street full of restaurants, Hangin' Pizzeria immediately catches the eye. There are paid parking spaces opposite the pizzeria, but they are not particularly expensive. So the location is very convenient, both for visitors and locals. We ordered two pizzas, a salad, water and a Merlot there. Unfortunately, my pizza was completely messed up - far too many chilies that completely masked the taste. My friend's pizza, on the other hand, was good, not outstanding, but definitely solid. The salad was actually delicious, but it was simply overloaded with too many olives, which spoiled the taste experience a bit. The water was unfortunately without sparkling water, which was a bit disappointing, and my red wine, a Merlot, was good but difficult to really enjoy after the spicy pizza. The contrast between the extreme spiciness and the fine red wine just didn't work well. The service was really friendly and nice, even though it initially took a while for someone to take our order. But you could tell that the staff tried very hard to ensure that the guests had a pleasant time. In the end it remains a little crazy: a pizzeria with 3,000 reviews in a town with just under 500 inhabitants. It seems that a lot of locals eat there, which definitely speaks to the quality of the place. Although I personally had a few points of criticism, I would recommend the pizzeria to anyone who craves pizza - especially in such a small community where the selection is limited.

Tasty wood fired pizza with generous toppings. There is a lot of outside seating which was good looking and had a nice relaxed vibe to it. It took a little while to find the menu and work out how to order food , but the piazza came out fairly quickly.

This place is superb and could be one of best pizzas in the UK. The pizzas are all freshly made and the menu has some great choices. It’s very popular so there’s likely a queue but it’s worth it. They do take out too and there’s plenty of outside space in the village to sit and enjoy it

Always loved coming here. However today ordered the salami and ham pizza today. Far too much chilli on it which was overpowering. Spoilt the pizza

Amazing food, amazing staff and a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the server dropped our pizzas when we went to collect them. But they apologised profusely and made 2 fresh ones right away while we ate one of the pizzas they managed to salvage. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back. Only not-so-glowing comment would be the cannoli’s were not what we expected. They seemed a little dry and not as wow as the pizzas were.

Seriously good pizza, with a great atmosphere on a Summer's evening. Don't be put off by the queue, it's worth it - we found a table quickly, drank Pimms and wine whilst we waited, and the pizza was awesome

Great quality food for a reasonable price. Can be a bit crowded in peak times but they have outdoor seating area too. Vegan pizzas clearly marked on the menu. Dine in and take out options. Fun fact: they don't do pineapple on pizza, but apparently if you bring your own they put it on for a small fee 😁

They make great pizza, we were very hungry and ate it with great pleasure, if you pass by and are hungry, definitely try it.

They are doing things right. Amazing pizza, great atmosphere, friendly staff, well picked deco. They have options for all, hot (the coffee smells fantastic), cool and alcoholic drinks, including options to take away, ice cream, small sweets (cannolis), and plenty of pizza options. Furthermore, they have a purpose, the support a charity for apes 🦧, they have souvenirs in case you want to support, and they collect donations as well. Shout out to the everyone working here, it’s nonstop, so well organised and keeping the biz running. Great business model! Well done to everyone 👏🏼 and thank you for a fantasy eve!

Food was absolutely delicious, much appreciated after a mountain climb, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely, I liked the music choice, though we just took away our pizzas, but woulda loved to stay longer. My respect goes towards the staff for the great service and for having to deal with that vacuous blonde lady of Order 313. P.s. the desserts were succulent yum-yum

Great atmosphere and amazing pizza.

As vegans, we weren't expecting a whole vegan pizza menu in a small mountain town in Snowdonia. We were so impressed with the range of plant-based pizzas, and the taste and texture was delicious. Decent service, quirky restaurant, great business. Hopefully more places follow suit!
