The best restaurants in Lliedi Carmarthenshire West Wales

This is probably the worst places me and my family have been out for Sunday lunch. We booked the table for 2pm but there was only 1 staff working the bar and the food. We had to wait a whole hour for our dinner to arrive, to which then 2 people from my family had already left due to the long time! Also there was a 1 year old baby who was crying as he was so hungry. The dinners arrived to which most of the food was cold, lacked gravy and the portion size was small. After this shocking meal we left straight away and decided we are not going back there again. Long and behold, during that night all of us who had the dinner were up through the night being sick and had a bad stomach. The service was bad, no money off the bill, food was basic and an overall rubbish experience .

No living in the area we though we would go out for a meal at a nearby location we found what we thought was a decent location for a meal, but unfortunately, we inadvertently became entangled in a conversation filled with right-wing rhetoric. This unfortunate experience marred what should have been a special day, and when we shared our concern with the staff, they disappointingly disregarded our complaint entirely. It is disheartening that as paying customers, we were not provided with a more welcoming atmosphere, and it is clear that the shocking content of the conversation should not have reached our ears. We strongly suggest avoiding this particular location. If you value treating everyone equally, I would advise against visiting this location. Our meal, consisting of Gammon served with chips, a fried egg, peas, and coleslaw, was unfortunately overshadowed by the unpleasant experience of overhearing right-wing rhetoric. The staff, rather disappointingly, displayed a lack of concern regarding the situation. While I am unsure what this particular group called themselves, they identified as the "Voice of Wales." It is disheartening that such individuals failed to uphold a welcoming and inclusive environment. My partner was scared that they would hear her voice so she kept quite through out. We left never to return.

Myself & husband visited following a lovely walk of the coastal path. The cafe bar has a welcoming interior with a nice feel inside, we had no issues with the service & were seated quickly, the coffees were nice however the food was very disappointing & underwhelming. The mushroom soup although homemade was very watery & bland, lacking flavour, seasoning & thickness, we also ordered a bowl of chips, again homemade however they arrived over cooked, dark brown & very hard which was disappointing. Not sure if this is normally the case but the food definitely lacked TLC when we visited.

I absolutely love Joe’s ever since I was a kid, but they need to start putting out alternative dairy options for those with dietary requirements. Not all of us want chocolate or sorbet.

Not been here before, what a lovely venue. Food was delicious, well presented and served by a lovely friendly server. It is rare I leave food but I could not of eaten another bite. The lovely gentle piano music in the background was so nice and relaxing. We eill definately be returning here.

Had a fabulous weekend at the diplomat hotel for a hen party. Excellent service and attention all round but particularly from the lovely lady Julie, who looked after us so well all weekend. Thanks all

Had a spa day given as a present

The young woman who works here with the glasses is so lovely and helpful, a lot of places these days make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by entering but she makes you feel very comfortable, it's lovely and clean and my coffee was perfect 👌

Hotel is amazing. It was being refurbished at the time of visit so not all areas were available. Room amazing and spacious. The only negative the lack of plugs near the bed. Car park free but spaces limited

Huge, cheap breakfast. It was Sunday AM and quiet, which suited me just fine.

We were 81st birthday party of 11, including 2 children. The restaurant, was spotless, and well equipped. We were met by Amber, who made us feel very welcome, all the staff were engaging, and the food lovely, hot and tasty. Cannot recommend enough, will defo be back. Thankyou for making my mums birthday special.

my order is not delivered the courier phoned to check the adress and i told him to deliver at my home adres witch is 86 mansel street llanelli sa15 1db but i did not recieved anything and it is marked that it is delvered .
