Went there for a family diner on the 2nd of November. The staff was a bit moody and showed a different kind of attitude towards me and my family. I won’t say the whole staff acted like that as some of them were honestly kind but 2 of them were neglecting my presence when l was trying to order food. This made my expectations really low and l wouldn’t wish that on anyone. The food was nice and the prices are reasonable. The toilets were dirty and unclean. I wouldn’t recommend if you a person who prioritises customer service but the food was good.

Went here yesterday(Sunday)with a friend for a catch up, food was excellent, service was good and the staff were outstanding. They were all very helpful and friendly, especially the gentleman behind the bar, but nothing was too much trouble for anyone. I would highly recommend this place, not just for friends but very family friendly too,keep up the great work, I'll be back soon, especially when they get coleslaw back

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We have very quickly become regulars and come at least once a week now. The deals are absolutely brilliant. We get two meals for £12.99 . I mean you cannot go wrong!!! We have been to several other places which do deals like this but have always found you "get what you pay for". Well we get alot more here. The food quality is brilliant and filling too. Exceptional customer service with all the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. It is always lovely and clean, always welcomed with a smile and as vegans too the choices are brilliant. So far we have tried the Mushroom and ale pie which comes with chips and the Vegetable lasagne with salad and both are absolutely gorgeous!! There are several other vegan options which is great as we also find a lot of places are limited to just one maybe two and that normally includes a curry whereas there's "fish" & chips, burgers, curry, pie and more here!!! They do great deals every day so it doesn't matter what day you go you are guaranteed great food , great quality with excellent service and brilliant prices. We won't go anywhere else for food now . Thank you to all the fantastic friendly staff for date meals we can afford!!!

Llanelly House is historical house in Llanelli that goes back In 18th century. Georgian architecture, belong to member of parlament Sir Thomas Stephney and his family. It was restored in 2009 and now is a beautiful and elegant Bistro where people can step back in time and enjoy having a meal. Friend and I had a delicious Walesh inspired breakfast. They do lunches and weddings. It was very enjoyable morning.

Maybe it’s because we were English, but the bar staff had faces like slapped arses. Not welcoming at all, nobody seats you, you stand there like fools and then they eventually shout you to just find a table that’s not reserved if you’ve not booked. The food was good enough for the price paid though. Some people just don’t get the service industry do they? You’re there to service us with a smile, not put us in a bad mood. There was a younger lady bringing out the food who was friendly, but obviously they were keeping her out the way.

It was our first visit as we were visiting llanelli from Cardiff. It wasn't very busy on the day we went and waited almost 45 mins for our food to come out. Saying that, Everything was lovely and the staff and atmosphere of the place was good. A bit disappointed they've gotten rid of the 'jalcrazy' Hot curry and no longer do the big plate special on the wendsday. So you now have to buy the extra sides separately but that's a franchise problem.

Do not waste you money terrible food hadn't been for many year but friend new to area wanted to try was even worse than I remember taste less and burnt after a 40 minute wait didn't experience any customer service when told waitress my toast is burnt with no butter on toast she just walked off so we walked out

Came here from the 80s festival in Llanelli as we were walking passed and it looked inviting, clean and busy. We came through the door and could see how manic it was the staff were rushed off their feet, but throughout the entrance chaos, a young blonde staff member popped her head through and managed to get us a table by the window. Menu is huge and there is so much choice, maybe too much. Only fancied something small so i ordered a Chicken and bacon baguette and a Sauv, My husband made the daring decision to order a "quadzilla burger" he quickly regretted it when it came. The thing was bigger than his head! Nevertheless the food was delicious and for how busy it was, it wasn't a long wait. Overall the staff were very helpful and i could see how busy they are, they could not put in more effort if they tried. The menu is a bit too much choice but for the prices on some of the dishes its just cheap eats. I would definitely go again

Staff very friendly but food mediocre and not very warm.

No separate bar for drinks and only two people serving. We queued around 15-20 mins to order food, we could done through the app but prefer not to put bank card details out there. We use our local hungry horse regularly and it gets glowing reviews but this one had grubby chairs etc. Despite the long wait to order, food came quickly which was unexpected being a party of ten, and was very nice.

Had a lovely time tonight, we went to celebrate our daughters guide dog partnership. Staff could not be more helpful and made my daughter s first outing with her guide dog a really positive one Food was lovely, hot and more than enough for us all. Looking forward to going back. Thanks

Came for breakfast this morning, had a problem paying for the car park but Leanne was very helpful. Breakfast was superb, cooked to perfection and the service from Leanne was excellent. And the coffee was top notch as well!! We'll be back.

And the kids were so excited and happy, the Easter bunny went above an beyond even had a photograph with them, and brought out a little colouring activity! The Hungry Horse is a bustling place, however the staff give you that personal touch. Always polite, well dressed. I have come here with my family regularly and the consistency and quality of the food is excellent, prices are reasonable. I book my table but they try their best to accommodate you if you haven't.

Had to send back my starter of nachos as it was so awful and the natchos just tasted of batter, Then had a lasagna as a swap out and was just a burned pile of mush.

On this occasion the food wasnt as good as other visits. Thr burger bun was dry and the steak a bit gristly. But saying that, it was still great value for money.

Probably the worst burger I've ever eaten, was supposed to come with bacon but didn't. Really bland. Booth seating was messy, waitress wiped the table but there was food all over the chairs.

It was such a lovely meal, all the staff were brilliant and very helpful 🙂

January 2024 Another review. Went here today for late lunch. Once again, just want to say many thanks to the staff- especially the blonde member of staff- for their help. So friendly! It was busy but the expected wait time for food was explained at the outset and the food arrived quicker than expected. Will be back soon. ............. Went for lunch here today with our 4 year old son. Huge thanks to the (blonde) member of staff who took our order and helped out with the Tesco vouchers I wanted to use. Really friendly. Really helpful. Food was great - just as we were expecting. Thanks again! N x

Genuinely one of my favourite places to go for food. Warm welcome by friendly staff every time. Comfy and good atmosphere. And the food is great and good value too. Highly recommend. Easy parking and public transport too. Just on the edge of town centre.
