New Stepney in Carmarthenshire

No easy feat we were a party of around 30.youngest was 1 eldest was 86 4 generations of my family .Absolutly no complaints about the food and the service was excellent. The staff go above and beyond. . would like to highly recomend the sea bass .very tasty x

I order the chicken skewers. They were horrible!!! The texture was off and tasted terrible. They were cooked , but I just couldn’t eat them.

Been in here a couple of times in the last few months whilst visiting my son who lives nearby. We always have the daily deal of two meals for £12 and have had a fantastic meal each time, also the candy - mania desert is brilliant. Keep it up cause we'll be back in a fortnight.

I got to say I've been to the hungry horse a few times this month and the staff there are amazing, took my son there yesterday for meal, staff called Dean and Jerome go above and beyond for you , and the food came out quick and tasted fresh and absolutely stunning 😍 want to say thankyou as I suffer from anxiety in public places, I felt comfortable and relaxed it's so nice to go out and have the best experiences and I'll be going back again , to be fair I don't know all their names they all are lovely

Food was lovely, nice tasting pie and cod. The food did rake a while to arrive. The bread did come out a little stale also, but they replaced it immediately. They probably need more staff for speed.

Dining here with family before seeing Wicked in the cinema , food was ok , not great but by no means bad, service very slow with two staff , one behind the bar , so not their fault The food was good value for money and convenient for the cinema across the road.

We don't go out very often but one of our favourite places is The New Stepney. Why?. A man that works there works so hard and he has a lovely personality. Can't put your name down . Jerome😀.

I've been a regular at this pub for the last six months. I've always found the atmosphere friendly & welcoming. I've always had good service and found the staff polite and helpful (especially Jerome, who knows straight away my "usual" ie a pint of San Miguel with a copy of the till receipt 😁).

Breakfast with Santa ..fantastic !! Lovely atmosphere, crackers and craft kits on the tables for the excited kids, beautiful food, lovely staff and a great, very patient Santa ! Took time to speak to each child. It was a great couple of hours and not expensive..would highly recommend it

Went there for a family diner on the 2nd of November. The staff was a bit moody and showed a different kind of attitude towards me and my family. I won’t say the whole staff acted like that as some of them were honestly kind but 2 of them were neglecting my presence when l was trying to order food. This made my expectations really low and l wouldn’t wish that on anyone. The food was nice and the prices are reasonable. The toilets were dirty and unclean. I wouldn’t recommend if you a person who prioritises customer service but the food was good.

Went here yesterday(Sunday)with a friend for a catch up, food was excellent, service was good and the staff were outstanding. They were all very helpful and friendly, especially the gentleman behind the bar, but nothing was too much trouble for anyone. I would highly recommend this place, not just for friends but very family friendly too,keep up the great work, I'll be back soon, especially when they get coleslaw back

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We have very quickly become regulars and come at least once a week now. The deals are absolutely brilliant. We get two meals for £12.99 . I mean you cannot go wrong!!! We have been to several other places which do deals like this but have always found you "get what you pay for". Well we get alot more here. The food quality is brilliant and filling too. Exceptional customer service with all the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. It is always lovely and clean, always welcomed with a smile and as vegans too the choices are brilliant. So far we have tried the Mushroom and ale pie which comes with chips and the Vegetable lasagne with salad and both are absolutely gorgeous!! There are several other vegan options which is great as we also find a lot of places are limited to just one maybe two and that normally includes a curry whereas there's "fish" & chips, burgers, curry, pie and more here!!! They do great deals every day so it doesn't matter what day you go you are guaranteed great food , great quality with excellent service and brilliant prices. We won't go anywhere else for food now . Thank you to all the fantastic friendly staff for date meals we can afford!!!

Llanelly House is historical house in Llanelli that goes back In 18th century. Georgian architecture, belong to member of parlament Sir Thomas Stephney and his family. It was restored in 2009 and now is a beautiful and elegant Bistro where people can step back in time and enjoy having a meal. Friend and I had a delicious Walesh inspired breakfast. They do lunches and weddings. It was very enjoyable morning.

Just what you need after a long day at work to wind down, great pub, great staff, great atmosphere

Maybe it’s because we were English, but the bar staff had faces like slapped arses. Not welcoming at all, nobody seats you, you stand there like fools and then they eventually shout you to just find a table that’s not reserved if you’ve not booked. The food was good enough for the price paid though. Some people just don’t get the service industry do they? You’re there to service us with a smile, not put us in a bad mood. There was a younger lady bringing out the food who was friendly, but obviously they were keeping her out the way.

It was our first visit as we were visiting llanelli from Cardiff. It wasn't very busy on the day we went and waited almost 45 mins for our food to come out. Saying that, Everything was lovely and the staff and atmosphere of the place was good. A bit disappointed they've gotten rid of the 'jalcrazy' Hot curry and no longer do the big plate special on the wendsday. So you now have to buy the extra sides separately but that's a franchise problem.
