The Drovers Llanelli in Carmarthenshire

This is probably the worst places me and my family have been out for Sunday lunch. We booked the table for 2pm but there was only 1 staff working the bar and the food. We had to wait a whole hour for our dinner to arrive, to which then 2 people from my family had already left due to the long time! Also there was a 1 year old baby who was crying as he was so hungry. The dinners arrived to which most of the food was cold, lacked gravy and the portion size was small. After this shocking meal we left straight away and decided we are not going back there again. Long and behold, during that night all of us who had the dinner were up through the night being sick and had a bad stomach. The service was bad, no money off the bill, food was basic and an overall rubbish experience .

Incredible Sunday dinner. I’ve eaten in many places for Sunday dinner, ranging from £25pp - £50pp. This absolutely walks over any Sunday dinner I’ve ever had. Great service, brilliant atmosphere and even better food, for an outstanding price. Can’t be beaten. Will be returning no doubt!

What I like about this place, is the ombience, and no crowds of youngsters out on the town causing mayhem, the Drovers is for over 25's of age or so I'm told.

Absolutely gorgeous Sunday Roast. Clearly a lot of skill and love goes into the food resulting in a delicious and refined meal which doesn't incapacitate you for the rest of the afternoon. Great pricing - all they need to do is put a little more effort into the presentation of their menu and it'll be 5 stars all around.

Lovely old pub with a great range of beers local and general. Staff were excellent and the prices very reasonable.

Amazing supper club evening, loved everything, (that's amazing for me) lovely company love staff, the tart delicious, the wagu steak out of this world, my apple pie im saving for breakfast.... fantastic👏

Poor sour dry wine £17 a bottle ! Hated it ! Gutted infact ! Better off them buying echo falls 5 quid .. and selling it for 17

Brilliant little find had a lovely warm welcome from staff . No under 25's in so a relaxing drink . Going again tonight . 🤪 Only open Thursday,Friday,Saturday&Sunday. We'll worth a visit ,best pub in llinelli. 👍🤩

Older crowd, can't remember much but did seem nice and chilled.. Nice red wine

A fabulous pub - how a pub should be.

Expensive Drinks !!! Called in with partner around 21.45 and ordered a Draught Beer and a double Strawberry Gin, ice and Lemonade (glass 2/3 of ice, double gin and a very small can of lemonade). Was charged £11.60 !!!! I did not question the price (should have though) as the barman or owner came across as experienced and didn't want to question the price. It will be my first and last visit to this establishment and won't recommend to my friends and colleagues. Maybe best to check prices before ordering your drinks.

Visited last night for the first time, what a lovely place! Lovely decor, great atmosphere and Peter was very welcoming, his table service was excellent, drinks were very reasonably priced, fab night! Will definitely return here again the next time we are in llanelli :)

Lovely pub and a great atmosphere

Believe it or not never been in the Drovers until last night!!! What a lovely pub. Beautifully decorated. Lovely and patience staff. Great clientele. Loved the quirky decor in the ladies toilets. Will be back!

Just love this quaint pub, full of character and such good ambience. Always on my tiop choice of places to visit most weekends ☺

I really like this place, I believe it's over 25s and over only which is a nice change. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere and always very busy, wall to wall tbh. Great range of drinks, all the staff are lovely and prices good. Probably the best pub in Llanelli.

Open on w/e and rugby days. Great atmosphere. Tidy pint - does not serve food. Over 25's. It's like drinking in one's front room. Wonderful experience. Got to be tried.
