Joes in Carmarthenshire

I absolutely love Joe’s ever since I was a kid, but they need to start putting out alternative dairy options for those with dietary requirements. Not all of us want chocolate or sorbet.

2 99 flakes on a single cones . Pure creamy delicious ice cream . What more needs to be said Great boys behind the counter polite and smiling . We will be back ! Plus great value for money

I have been a fan of Joe’s Ice cream for more years than I care to remember. It was always a special treat to go to Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour on St Helens Road Swansea. I am more than delighted that my favourite Ice Cream is readily available at Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour in Llanelli. I found the service at the Llanelli Parlour to be a a bit on the slow side. Seating is very limited. This is more in the nature of a Joe’s Ice Cream Takeaway. Nevertheless the Ice Cream is Delicious and I will go the again.

Fantastic ice creams and a great choice, pleasant staff and good value, took our grandsons there and one loves the bubblegum flavour and the other chocolate, we take them into the cinema or eat on the outside seating area.

I went in for a takeaway salted caramel double cone. It was really good and good value too. I’d go back again (and I did at a later date!)

Everyone should have the chance to have Joe's Ice Cream at some point.. As a family based on the South Coast of England, we always try and fit in a visit when we are in the Llanelli area.. Just amazing

Despite the fact it was freezing 🥶 we decided to stop off at Joe’s for an ice cream and I also had a hot chocolate as well. It was nice to get in out of the cold whilst waiting for the bus back to Swansea. The ice cream was spot on but the hot chocolate was way too sweet, was like a cup of luke warm sugar! Staff were welcoming and friendly

Staying next door overnight at the Travelodge, thought we'd give Joes Ice Cream Parlour a go for dessert. It was so good that we ended up going two nights in a row! Thick creamy ice cream (with dairy free sorbets for our daughter), served by friendly helpfull servers for a good price. Large portion sizes. A bit of a youth hangout in the evenings, but all very friendly and good natured. Highlight of our weekend in Llaneli.

Fantastic to have our own Joes in Llanelli at last! Always friendly and always delicious! I'm a purist and only ever eat vanilla with nuts on top but I am assured the other flavours are lovely as well!

A small and pleasant ice cream restaurant just off the town centre with inside and outside seating and easy access to parking. The welcoming staff serve the best ice cream ever with a wide range of flavours as well as a delicious raspberry sauce that reminds me of my childhood. Not expensive and well worth a visit.

Visited here 5pm and queue out the door, ordered icecreams, only a choice of 2 for nondairy/vegan, abit disappointed, Icecream very soft and melting way before it should, I presume it's not kept refrigerated very well ?nice taste but still not beating the best ever Ice cream I've tasted anywhere , hockings ice-cream from appledore north devon in England!!! But this the closest to it I've tasted, just needs to be firmer/colder

Ive eaten Joes ice cream for longer than I care to remember. Still the very best. The sticky toffee North Pole is gorgeous.

Lots of nice flavours to choose from. There is also a nice seating area both inside and out where you can enjoy your ice cream. Prices are not bad. About what you'd expect to pay for decent ice cream. Service is usually good.

Wifey and I popped in here after I nagged her for an ice cream. I had classic cream and raspberry sundae and I can honestly say that at 52 years old it was far and away the best ice cream I have ever had. Mrs enjoyed her coffee nut and peach sundae too. Great service too from a happy young bunch of lads and girls.

15 mile walk and then a bus trip back so feeling weary so imagine our joy when the bus stopped opposite Joes! The icecream and the presentation and staff are on another level

Really popular place for deserts of icecream,well presented and served by nice friendy staff. You probably will have to queue as it seems always busy. One of the best, if not the best in the area.

Rude staff, expensive and completely mediocre ice cream. I wouldn’t waste your time or money going there.

Me and my brother Kevin visited there one afternoon,i had a bubblegum flavour as i was feeling like a Nine year old at the time,it really is good stuff,creamy and delicious!

We had to try the ice cream as we had heard it is very good, not disappointed. The staff were friendly and efficient. They let us try a sample before ordering. The peanut butter and vanilla was really good as was the strawberry. If you are in the area well worth calling in.

On visiting we found a great selection of ice creams. Candy floss was great, various toppings and selection of sundaes. Will visit again when next in the area.

For people who have eaten Joe’s ice cream already, you know it’s probably one of the best ice creams in the world. For people who haven’t tried it yet, try it, you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Super delicious ice cream from joes. They have weird flavours that are all yummy! Staff are friendly. There’s one toilet in the shop. They also have outdoor seating.

Always go to Joe's for the best ice cream around . Took our relatives and had a good time plenty of flavours to choose from .

It’s Joes ice cream, is there anything else to say? Not a bad thing to say, always so much choice and even better now that they finally accept card payments. If you’re Welsh and don’t like Joes you have a problem. If you’ve never visited, you’re missing out! Go go go!

Best ice cream around really fast service even when the que is out of the door. Sunday lunch then call in on the way home -end of a good day ;-)

Love Joe's and always hard to park near one in Swansea. Always parking close by here and staff are lovely and friendly. I come here every time l am home from Coventry

Visited here on wed 25th at approx 6.45. While eating our icecream indoors the staff closed the toilet door and put up a sign saying seating area closed. We felt rushed to eat our icecream and it was only 7.10. It was very cold outside so therefor a few new customers walked away without purchasing anything. Its a shame as the icecream is very good. I know staff like to prepare for closure but an hour early is a bit too much.

Recommend to try the ice cream by a local. I agree with her in that it was delicious. The shop is small but as the weather was ok we were able to sit on the benches outside.

Popped here to get dessert rather than paying inflated prices next door in Nando's. Glad we did! Great taste and texture, lots of flavours plus ones I had never heard of, eg Welsh Cake. Lots of outdoor seating plus a few bar type seats indoors.

Would be difficult to find better ice cream than Joes - consistently good -love this place ! The frozen ice cream is never as nice as the over the counter ice cream I don't think but the Vanilla ice cream is excellent and a world beater !

For the people of Swansea Joe’s Ice Cream isn’t a product - it’s an institution. I’m delighted they have ventured over the Loughor Bridge into Llanelli. Conveniently situated in the East Gate shopping area alongside the Odeon Cinema this small unit packs a mass of flavour. Although a changing selection of flavours are available stick with the original Joe’s vanilla for maximum pleasure. You can have it in various sizes of cones or cups but do try one of their amazing sundaes. Although seating is limited to bench style window seating tables are available outside. It is well worth the visit.

Joe's ice cream is the best you could have.

Joes is the best ice cream and it's great for a treat. The parlour in Llanelli is quite small with limited seating inside however there are benches outside. It's tends to be busy but worth the wait.

Came here fora treat after a family day out. Although a tad expensive it's ok for the occasional treat and I haven't tasted ice cream as good as Joe's. Service is very good (even when the queue is stretching out of the door). I recommend Joe's to anyone,whatever the weather.

Welcoming place. Fantastic staff only problem was not enough room in and out. But all in all fantastic.

The was as usual quite long but who cares, Joes is the best ice cream around. We were served by a young lady who was very patient as I was slow ordering as wanted everything but couldn't obviously ha ha. Can't wait to return.

This is Joe's ice cream first shop outside the Swansea area and a nice addition to Llanelli. Spotlesss inside and a good selection of ices. I'm a Joe's traditionalist though and stick with the delicious famous vanila. Looks like I'll be back.

This icecrem isn't only beautiful it takes me back to when I was a child ..my dad used to take me to the one in Swansea best tasting icecream ever I'm so happy it's now in my home town so now my children can enjoy it x

Why hasn't Joe's ice cream shop in Llanelli been advertised more I wonder ! The ice cream is THE best ever and lovely outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy, is even better ! Had the Strawberry Sunday - world beater. Never cheap, but always worth it !

So excited we finally have this in Llanelli. I used to travel to mumbles but now no longer need to. It's always busy, has indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty choice

Lovely ice-cream that I don't have to travel too far for. I have always travelled to Mumbles for this experience but since they opened a new store in Llanelli I no longer travel to Mumbles just for the ice-cream.

I am so glad that Joes has opened in lalnelli as it will save me a lot of petrol driving to Swansea!!! You can buy tubs in the local garage, but it really is not the same. The ice cream parlour in Eastgate is spotless and the people serving are really nice and polite.

First visit to Joe's, we were not disappointed. Good choice to pick from and made to feel welcome by staff. Certainly will call again

I have not tasted a better icecream ever , not even in Italy. The flavour is unique and doesn't need to be dressed up in fruit flavours or fancy packaging. Try it plain and simples.

The strapline says it all. 'Everything Else is Just Ice Cream' I've lived Joe's Icecream for 30yrs and the fact that it's now available in Llanelli is amazing. We visit relatives there regularly and instead of having to travel all the way to Mumbles, which can be a pain to park, we can take a leisurely ride into town instead. Called in in the evening and went back again for a late breakfast icecream. Great idea guys, keep up the good work.

All the usual lovely Joes flavours with handy parking nearby. Limited seating to eat there but the beach is only a 5min drive from there. Lovely staff, very friendly.

Joes Ice Cream comes to Llanelli... a fantastic treat particularly when it's hot, and right on the bus station makes it quite easy to get to. Being completely accessible for wheelchairs is the cherry on top of the ice-cream.
