Absolutely lovely food, all came in great time and cooked beautifully. Steak melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.

We came here for dinner as we were staying in the area, we had our four legged friend with us too. The Farmers Arms was very welcoming and staff were very friendly. Food was delicious, full of flavour and reasonably priced. Dog treats and water were available and one of the staff members even gave our dog a lovely piece of meat too which he was obviously very happy with! We wouldn't hesitate returning whenever we are in the area again!

My wife, myself and our dog stopped here for a late dinner. We were allowed in the bar with our dog and even though their chef had gone home, they still made us a very delicious dinner. The pints were nice, the people were lovely and the staff was incredible. They even cooked up a nice piece of beef for our dog without us even asking! I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are nearby, stop in for a pint and some food!

The food was delicious and staff are nice however it seems that the younger staff are overworked, you can benefit from more staff especially on busier days

We had Sunday lunch there over the weekend - a first visit to this place for us. We were able to help ourselves to the carvery immediately and the drinks came quickly. There was loads of meat and veg options and friendly staff. The food was first class, amongst the best Sunday lunches we’ve ever experienced and we will definitely be returning here.

First time back under new ownership and the experience did not disappoint. We had a great meal (the curry special (half and half, obviously) and the burger). Food and service were excellent. Great value for money. Family and dog friendly. Clean and cosy with wood burner and pool table. Unexpected treat for the dog from the kitchen.

Went Thursday evening with friends for the Thursday special of burger and a pint for £12 We were greeted by Ryan, our waiter We sat in the restaurant which was warm and comfortable, but there was also a bar area with log fire We all chose a beef burger with bacon, fried onions, and relish. It was an ample portion of succulent juicy burger which also came with chips, coleslaw, onion rings and a jug of sauce for dipping Ryan ( our waiter) was the most delightful young man, he was friendly, courteous and polite,. He was keen to know we were happy with our meal but at the same time unobtrusive This place is dog friendly, ample parking, and also had a good vegetarian menu It was easily accessed so suitable for wheelchair users I will thoroughly recommend this pub/ restaurant and will definitely be returning

A group of 4 friends went to The Farmers Arms this evening We were greeting by Ryan who was our waiter tonight We sat in the restaurant area, which was clean warm and comfortable . There was also a bar area with a real fire We all had the special this evening of burger and a pint for £12 This really was a special, a large thick juicy burger with bacon, relish, fried onions and salad . It was accompanied by a generous helping of chips, onion rings, coleslaw and a delicious jug of sauce The flavour was outstanding, it was brilliant value for money and in lovely surroundings Ryan was attentive and polite without being pushy and a credit to this establishment We will certainly return and highly recommend this pub / restaurant

Just had an awesome family meal out at the Farmers Arms Llanybri. The ambience of the place has changed hugely for the better under recent change of ownership. Comfortable, well lit and decorated we were served the most delicious food you could wish for. The sea bass was beautifully cooked and tasty, the farmhouse beef on a mash bed with peas and red wine gravy was to die for. The beef just fell apart perfectly. Other family members had fish and chips (equally tasty) , a burger, and the hunters chicken all really cooked well with beautiful presentation. A child’s meal of Mac and Cheese was also a winner. We were served very attentively by a very pleasant young man who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed including a pudding menu to which we couldn’t say no… 😋😋😋 see pictures of the Sundaes … On top of it all, prices are reasonable for everything too. Can’t go wrong. Definitely be taking friends and family there again. Well done Farmers Arms 😃🙏🍽️

Just had yet another excellent Sunday lunch. Marvellous !food and value terrific. Grandmas home made puddings and desserts are just great. Well deserving of a visit,support local independent business or they won't be there,and the farmers is well worth supporting

Lovely pub made to feel very welcome by staff and all the locals very dog friendly. Food was excellent we visited 4 out of our 7 nights and will definitely visit again when we are in the area highly recommend

Popped in for a quick pint and received a very warm welcome. The landlord even bought doggy beer (water) out for our dog. Apparently, Sunday lunch is frequently a sell out with over a 100 covers which is impressive in what is a fairly remote location.

Locals making a first visit. Exceeded all expectations. Polite, proactive staff, good food and plenty of it, and at a fair price. Even the kids are well looked after. Just an all round pleasurable, no fuss, dining experience. Beer was good and well kept. Many pubs could learn a lot from here. We will be back.

Lovely little pub, extremely clean with comfortable seating. The food was excellent and the stack burger is easily in the top 3 burgers I've ever had (yes it really is that good). The young lady who served us was very polite, helpful and kind. All in all a lovely meal in a lovely village pub. Highly recommended

A varied straightforward menu, very reasonably priced and food came with good friendly service. Excellent value for money.

Ate here two nights in a row while staying in a family members caravan. Staff friendly and atmosphere cosy. Hunters chicken and lasagne on the first night were fantastic. Steak on the second night was a bit meh, asked for rare was more like medium, still overall a nice place.

Had a lovely meal while staying at a local campsite. Good Food and good size portions. The chocolate brownies we shared for dessert were amazing. Staff there were lovely.

My first visit since under new ownership and very pleased to say it was excellent. I booked Sunday lunch for visiting family and myself and all were impressed by the food quality and service. The staff made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble, well done. Our visit was made even more pleasant by the sunshine and service in the garden. So if like me you were hesitant based on the previous ownership dining experience have no fears you won't be disappointed. I'm pleased to say I can highly recommend the Sunday lunch and will be returning soon.

It's been a decade since I visited this pub, the first pub i visited in Wales. I have very fond memories of it. And the locals were very generous with their welcome. I will be back.

Called for Sunday lunch and what a lovely lunch we had everything was freshly cooked and hot the staff are very friendly and helpful and the chef even gave our little dog some meat for her birthday we really recommend this pub and will definitely be back

The best carvery I have ever eaten. Really nice fresh veg and a selection of 4 meats and home made stuffing like no where else. And the wife had cheesecake for afters that was clearly home made. Excellent service and very reasonable price. REALLY EXCELLENT

A lovely, welcoming pub! Very clean and cosy rooms, my wife and I felt very comfortable just passing through for a drink. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. It was New Years Eve, and we were offered some of their lovely buffet that was for later celebrations. Highly recommended!

Great Sunday Lunch at a fantastic lunch.

Double birthday family meal tonight 😃🎂 Absolutely delicious well cooked food in comfortable surroundings. Fought my son on a challenge to eat the mixed grill 😂 which beat us both but was really tasty. They catered for my 9yr old grandson too with a good size child’s meal. Service was very attentive and friendly without being imposing, and the final bill was excellent value for money. Can’t praise this family run business highly enough. Hope they are around for a long time to come so we can recommend to friends. We will definitely be back for other events. 100% worth booking in for! 💚

Without doubt, one of the best pubs we've been to. We had our dog with us tonight so we had to sit in the bar area and we're so glad we did because the locals were incredibly friendly and made us feel completely welcome. And the food here is outstanding! You can tell everything is homemade, my husband had the fish and chips and I had the beef lasagne and both dishes were delicious. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be coming back for another visit. What an absolute gem The Farmers Arms is!

Went day before Mother’s Day on Saturday lunchtime, had fantastic food with excellent service, couldn’t fault anything, food was all home cooked food of superb quality and presentation, waitress couldn’t do enough for us, we will definitely be back again.

Came out Tuesday night quiet, great service really friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. Mixed grill beautifully cooked good and very generous portion sizes on everything. Steak was well seasoned and cooked for as asked. Children were welcomed and very well catered for. Definite recommendation
