Always had very good food there and such a choice. Only drawback is it's cash only if you don't know but we are aware now so it's not an issue.

This place is amazing, if you are local or passing through the town you must stop here, the fish chips and mushy peas are 5* everything else is fresh and tasty and the guys serving are brilliant. My 2 brothers and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just been in for lunch with my dad while I'm visiting and the food was absolutely stunning prices reasonable and the coffee was great aswell

Stumbled on this place looking for a quick reasonably low cost meal when passing through. The staff were really friendly, the food was spot on and was reasonably priced.

What have you done. Used to be the best in town. Had fish and chip takeaway last night. Cost £10 for rubbery fish, tough batter. Sorry, never coming back. Awful,awful awful.

I first ate here in 1980, and although it has changed hands it's still going strong which is a good thing and the present owners are carrying on the good work. The staff are polite and the service is good. Tasty fish and chips.

Food here is always fresh and the portions are beyond generous. Staff very attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much for these guys. Just one thing not a biggie as there's a cashpoint nearby but card payments could be taken! However as a small business owner I can see the reasoning why, like I say not a BIG issue there's an HSBC bank a few yards away.

Awful pickelled egg like rubber tasteless food hard chips expensive wont go no more

The lovely fresh haddock was cooked just right with a lovely crispy batter (not too thick). The chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (a bit like me,!) The curry sauce and mushy peas were delicious. The portion sizes are enough for a main meal The staff are helpful and efficient. I would be more than happy to visit West End Fish and Chips next time I am in the area. Oh I nearly forgot.. Prices are very reasonable. The only issue is that they only accept cash for payment.

Been coming to West End Cafe for many years now and never been disappointed. The food is very tasty and very reasonably priced. The Cafe is very clean and good location, with some parking outside. One of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. We arrived near closing time - but the gentleman gladly took our order and served a large thick flaky piece of cod. Definitely worth trying.

My family and I had an amazing time, everyone is soo hospitable especially the owner khalid. The fish and sausages are great and really do have an authentic taste. Overall we had a great time!

On my way home from a day out I popped into camarthen and had a good value cracking fish and chips, one of the best I've had in a long time will be comming back with the family soon

I had the biggest chips in here that I ever had. Big chunky chips,golden in colour, cooked just right,not greasy at all. Well done everybody. I most definarley will return.

In the 55 years I’ve walked on God’s green earth, this was the best plate of cod, chips & mush peas (with a round of bread & butter on the side) I have ever eaten. Superb by any measure. Thank you.

Great peice of fish 🐟 it was cooked fresh, tasted fresh and the batter was beautifully crisp, very limited grease too which was nice, Ordering and collecting was easy and the restaurant is very very clean and smell free, although I do like the smell of a good chippy. The chips were OK, very chunky cut chips not a massive fan myself but there weren't bad , they tasted just fine, the chips where also freshly cooked while we waited are where fluffy and crisp. In all a good munch

I found the West End fish and chip shop very welcoming and was very pleased with my purchase. With polite hard working staff buying my meals was easy and stress free as it was on a Friday evening. The fish was lovely, the chips were a bit scrappy but all in all I was well fed .So with great value for money it's 4 out 5 from me. Thank you West End fish and chip shop !!!

Friendly staff and quick service. I had the fish and chips with the Irish curry sauce. The chips were delightfully crunchy, the fish was lovely and flakey and the batter wasn't too thick and the curry sauce just topped everything off. The portions are large and could easily feed 2 people.

Chips were not fresh chips - more like frozen. Absolutely disgusting & prices were extremely expensive.
