West End Fish and chips in Carmarthenshire

Food was good but ppl came in after me had a large order (takeaway mine was to) and they got theirs first!!!! 😝😏😅😁😂

Second best fish and chips in Caerfyrddin, only beaten by the High End Catch when open; superb fall back. Very friendly staff and a good mixed clientele

Friendly staff and quick service. I had the fish and chips with the Irish curry sauce. The chips were delightfully crunchy, the fish was lovely and flakey and the batter wasn't too thick and the curry sauce just topped everything off. The portions are large and could easily feed 2 people.

Chips were not fresh chips - more like frozen. Absolutely disgusting & prices were extremely expensive.

We both had fish and chips one small and one large. Both were huge and thr chips were thick and soft but crunchy at the same time. The Fish was just right and not to thick in batter. Highly recommend this Chippy and would use again if ever in the area again. Definitely one to try.

We’re on holiday visiting for the week and this fish and chips was the best me and my husband have ever had! Such lovely staff, super speedy service! Prices were so reasonable and the food quality and quantity was outstanding!!! We were so impressed. We know when we go back home this will be the place we miss the most!! It was absolutely delicious.

Amazing food and reasonably priced. The chips are cooked in their own oil so they're suitable for vegetarians too.

Excellent quality food and reasonable prices. Portions are generous and well presented. The seating area is a little tired although very clean. Probably the best chips I've had in Camarthen. On street parking available on street or nearby carpark.

Open when everyone else was closed, on a bank holiday.

We were looking for a chippy and found this place, staff were very friendly and service good. The food was great lovely & hot, the chips were delicious, the best i’ve ever tasted, fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside, good side portions as well!!

One of the best fish and chips I have been so far while visiting Carmarthen , staff are very welcoming and friendly,everything is made fresh and tasted ,Fresh fish, perfect batter and the chips, can’t recommend then enough,I will visit them again whenever o travel to Carmarthen ,worth very journey. Called 8n tonight after a sudden trip to hospital (hubby sliced the top of his finger off at work) was informed by the young lady that it was take away only due to time and closing. So we were about to fund somewhere we could sit down and wind down, until the lovely man behind the counter told us we could sit in as long as we're were finished in 20 mins (closing time). We had a fab meal, we weren't pressured to leave or any sideway glances etc.. I was very grateful to have a lovely, well cooked hot meal after a busy day at work followed by a chaotic evening... I thanked them profusely as we left, a very kind gesture, when most business wouldn't care or accommodate. Not only that but they serve the best chips, not over or under cooked and nothing is too much trouble. I've been going to the West end for years and will continue to do so

My family and I had different meals from here and everything was brilliant, big portions, well cooked, great tasting and we didn't wait long at all for 4 meals. Highly recommend!
