Best Western Diplomat Hotel in Carmarthenshire

Had a fabulous weekend at the diplomat hotel for a hen party. Excellent service and attention all round but particularly from the lovely lady Julie, who looked after us so well all weekend. Thanks all

Great value night out .. murder mystery night .. over night stay with evening meal and breakfast… room was lovely — clean recently updated and spacious. The evening meal was tasty and plentiful The waitress were excellent, friendly and did an amazing job Entertainment was good Breakfast was tasty warm and well cooked - great selection

I came here with a group of friends, the atmosphere was amazing, perfect place to bring family. the day I came here they had live music on which was extravagant, not to mention that the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming!!

Had beautiful wedding day. It ran like clockwork from start of preparations until our wedding Day. Sheldon the manager/wedding coordinator is amazing! he is wonderful and made it special The conservatory looked like s dream. We would recommend this hotel it's first class.

Just returned home after having a really bad meal. Undercooked scampi, badly fried chips, tiny slice of tomato with a sad bit of lettuce. The staff were lovely but did not make up for the abysmal food. To charge £15 was daylight robbery. Never again.

Booked here for lunch with my husband, daughter and grandson. We were impressed with the precautions in place, hand sanitizer stations, distances etc, so we felt comfortable. We ate out on the balcony as it was a nice sunny day. We had the lasagne, prawn Marie rose sandwich and chicken goujons. All of our meals were really nice and tasty. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, Sheldon was our waiter and we found him to be really friendly. We will definitely return for another meal. Thank you.

Fantastic place to eat yummy breakfast, lunch or/and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent prices and lots of bar options.

Had a few nights stay here in the last few years. I Used to be based in Llanelli workwise so nice to have somewhere we all like and know and feel at home in. Always welcoming, Manager always goes out of his way for his customers. Also had a spa afternoon with friends Last week, which we all again thoroughly enjoyed. Staff again out of this world.. Attended The Best Western Diplomat to return a year after our wedding day, it will always have a fond place in mine and my wife's heart. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, especially kimberley and isabella they made the stay all the more amazing. Thank you to hotel and the staff for all the fond memories we have.

Be aware if coach parties are in, you will not be able to book dinner when you want it, they obviously take preference we ate here the evenings of our stay, most nights food was good but be prepared to wait, again depending on coach parties! One night of our stay food not really acceptable, with foreign body in one persons food, which was pointed out to the restaurant manager as it was very sharp and two meals barely warm not heated up enough, obviously a different chef as food on other nights was excellent, restaurant it self very light, but could get extremely hot I think it was rather warm on the nights we ate, staff very good

Booked in for two nights with our granddaughter. We we allocated a family room which was very large spotlessly clean and quiet. The hotels staff were so friendly at reception, bar staff and restaurant it stood out as we had previously travelled up from London were smiles are rare. Our dinner was very good Steak, Chilli Salmon Salad and first class children’s chicken fillet meal served promptly and good value for money. Swimming pool was clean and empty when we visited. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel which is clearly used by locals. Really this is a very good hotel which delivered on all levels. Great family visit thanks all.

The food was amazing food and fantastic. cannot say enough about the service and hospitality. Very clean
